Best place. I would trust anyone there but am completely partial to Chelsea. She's amazing, respectful friendly and skilled. and she just figures your hair out immediately. She will do exactly what you want her to do, but I am at the point where I just value her objective viewpoint. I could go in there with my eyes closed and just say " do what you think is best". For me she has highlighted, low lighted, trimmed, styles and has done a keratin treatment. I just love her. EVERYONE there is so nice, and are a class act and Brian, the owner is a great guy. My boyfriend got the worst haircut of his life here for $50. It took 10 mins from the owner Brian himself. He didn't listen and started buzzing when he showed him a photo of what he had before it grew out and needed just some inches off for a clean up. Instead he got a military buzz cut and has to grow it out for 6 months. He called and Brian was condescending and rude not apologetic at all. He doesn't listen and too fast so wouldn't recommend anyone go there. I want someone who listens and can match a photo and tends to your needs instead of ruining your hair and saying oh well it will grow out. You're the owner so do better Brian. read more

I had my first appointment with Brian yesterday and I am impressed. He listened to my concerns and created solutions for both the color and cut, as I was not happy with either. He was very precise in his haircutting method. He got the shape perfectly and texturized it so that it had movement and volume -- no helmet head. He also got the bangs perfect -- not many hair stylists have been able to do that with my hair. Even small things like shampooing my hair after the color -- I noticed his technique was different than any other hairstylist I have even seen and I think that contributed to the overall success of the color. In short, Brian is talented, skilled and personable. Also, his salon receptionist Shelley was very friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable. Brian Goetz salon is a salon not to be missed. The ambiance is wonderful and Brian will greet you with a beautiful smile and calm aura. My stylist, Kurt, is fantastic! He really listens to your hair concerns and then will make suggestions.. I have curly hair, which is a challenge for many stylists as they don't understand curly hair techniques. KURT GETS IT ! We have been clients of the stylist at this salon for over 10 years. She is fantastic and takes care of the whole family. The owner, Brian is another story. Very unprofessional. He informed us today that our stylist has been under charging us and implied that were stealing services. He let us know that we would be charged almost 200% more than we are currently paying and that we should be happy to support local businesses. I am all for supporting local business as we own 2 of them. But we will not support a business that is owned by an abusive misguided unprofessional dictator. He finished his speech to us by calculating and letting us know how much profit he is losing on us each year. Brian....calculate how much money you will you lose when we don't come back. By our calculation Thats about $4,000 PER YEAR. Bad ownership and management is very unfortunate. If you look at the response, the condescension and unprofessionalism is very apparent. Supercuts??? We have always paid exactly what was asked and the issue is less about the money and more about the lack of professionalism and decorum. read more

I am visiting Sarasota for the summer and I needed a haircut very badly. I am very picky and I was referred to Rachel. I made an appt for my hubby and when we arrived for our appointments the experience was amazing just from walking in. We had our 5 year old daughter and our 6 month old baby. Brian Goetz cut my husband hair and he did amazing! Rachel was so sweet and fast she gave me the best shampoo I've ever had. She braided my hair I was in and out less than an hr I was so impressed not just because she did a gray job with my hair but bc she had me in and out. We were not rushed at all but being with kids she knew the deal. To the point I am a hair artist myself and was incredibly impressed. I started getting balayage around this time last year. I have only gotten it done 3 times. A couple of weeks ago I started noticing that the balayage had moved down quite a bit, especially because I got a haircut. I wanted to get balayage again but it is not cheap, and once i started thinking that my hair didn't look good I had to fix it! Regretfully, I dyed my own hair. Obviously a big mistake I know. I tried to give myself some highlights just to bring the balayage up higher again. When I was done it didn't look horrible, it was just a little bit orange. So, I bought toner (my second mistake). I toned all of my hair and the toner stripped all of my natural hair color (turned medium brown to orange) and turned all of my highlighted pieces grey or blue! Later this same week I was headed back to college, so I wanted to get this fixed as soon as possible. I went to a salon and asked for their opinion and they told me that they would have to dye ALL of my hair back to my natural color and then give me balayage all over again. I did not want to damage my hair that badly so then I came to Brian Goetz Salon! This was my first time at the salon and thankfully they had an opening the next day. On the day of my appointment, multiple stylists examined my hair (as it was a mess!) in order to figure out the best way to fix it. Stylists Brandy and Tracy worked together to dye my orange roots back to my natural color and then dyed the blue or remaining orange highlights back to the blonde color I wanted. This technique did not damage my hair, which was the goal. I am so happy and honestly very surprised with how my hair turned out. There were so many different tones and colors all over my hair, and they made fixing it look so easy! It is very clear that everyone who works at this salon cares deeply for their costumers and will do whatever it takes to fix their hair. The Hair Salons have been closed due to the Pandemic and now they are open for business, I was ecstatic! i went to pay and the owner Brian Goetz informed me that He will no longer loose money on clients like me and then calculated his losses with me. I have always paid what was asked nothing less, however I do not expect to have someone belittle me and treat me such disrespect all over money.
