Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable! Hailey did an amazing job, not only helping me decide on a new style, but also taking it slow and making sure I was comfortable with the length being cut off! I also love that when I asked about adding on a zone highlight to my haircut, she ( very politely ) asked me to book another appointment for the color service. I have really thick, coarse hair that can be difficult to work with. I had high hopes for this, but I absolutely hated my hair afterwards. I have been going to Sarah for quite some time and she's always given me a wonderful haircut. Last fall most of my hair fell out due to radiation therapy and Sarah helped me get it styled so I'd look ok with a hat/scarf. Soon more fell out so I decided to cut the hair I had so I could start over. I also had to buy a wig because my daughter was getting married. Sarah cut and styled my hair to match the new growth. super short! I had brought my wig with me and she asked Mark to help her style it. Mark did such a fantastic job it looked so natural! In salons in the past my scalp reacted to the hair dye, itched while it was applied....not here! Whatever they use doesn't affect me at all! The shampoo station experience has improved here also. Despite my social anxiety and intense feelings of awkwardness about human interaction, I knew I needed to get my hair cut and was dreading it. Thankfully, I found shear rituals while looking around on Google and decided to make an appointment with Corinna. When the day came, Corinna was so genuinely warm, I immediately felt better when I first met her. Even though I was getting a basic shampoo/cut/blow dry, she took the time to talk with me and make sure I was happy. After doing an initial cut, she asked how I felt about the length, and made me feel comfortable enough to tell her I wanted it a little shorter, which is something I'd never do ordinarily. She was easygoing and made it a great experience. Just one week before, my mom and I lost our elderly rescue dog due to his declining health. It really brightened my day seeing one of the stylists/owners dogs tap-tap-tapping back and forth, in a pride-colored outfit. The whole vibe of the salon was welcoming and inclusive. Started going to this salon after they reopened from Covid shut down. Two months ago my stylist left and I was assigned a new and very young stylist without my input. Very sweet young women but lacks experience. She assured me she had my color formula, unfortunately the color was off and the cut uneven. I had requested before my appointment the salon contact the previous stylist to send a photo of my last cut to the new person. I was told their answering machine did not always work and the request was not received. I requested a refund on the cut or have someone else trim the uneven area. I was told "they are not a good fit for me and find another salon" also told my last stylist left on unhappy terms. They did refund the cost of the cut and canceled my future appointment. I have thin, fine hair. I don't have high expectations. However, Richard was so warm, friendly, and fun to talk to while he worked magic on my hair. He explained how hair products work and what I was doing wrong that was making my hair flat and listless.
