I would never recommend Supercuts at this branch. Most of the saloon provides hair wash before haircut and then blow dry your hair. I was here for the first time so I didn't know I had to book it separately. I had an appointment m, I waited for few minutes, then when my haircut was done, the other man came for his appointment. She didn't even dry my hair and said you have to take separate appointments for that service. When I mentioned most of the saloon provides haircut with the complete with at least drying hair. She said it is for Asian salon as I am an Asian. So I am out with my wet dripping hair. So unprofessional. But wish there will be negative stars for this. After paying $49.0, I am out with wet clothes and wet hair. Stylist name is Sue. I took an appointment but I saw that they allow walk in as well. Sometimes there is only 1 name and "soonest available", then I assume it will be the said person anyway... For us this place is ok. It's not fantastic, but not horrible. We have tried more expensive place and less expensive place before, while less expensive place can be worse but more expensive place didn't necessarily get better. So I think this place is okay if you're not trying to get something specific or special. I thought the stylist was nice and gentle, until she put surcharge of $2 which is mentioned in store but nowhere on the booking website. She was the only person cutting lady's hair and another barber guy cutting the mens'. So it would have been her anyway. Doh we just selected because there was a section and she was available. I will probably not be going back to Supercuts again. They do the very minimal haircuts. I typically go to Asian salons but my hair stylist moved location so I wanted to try something different. I wanted my cut my shoulder length and she cut it a bit shorter than I wanted. Not only that, she didn't style it. The tips of my hair feels butched and jagged. She cut it too straight and now I look like lord Farquad. It's a terrible haircut that I will hv to spend more $$$ just to fix. I will not recommend Ionica. Over the years, I have been to many Supercuts in the South Bay; I had not found one that kept me going back. I found this location when I was yelping last Friday; thought I would give it a try since it's so close to work. I went in at 9:10am and was second one in line; I signed in for Super Color and Super Cut. My hair stylist was Chein (I believe that's how you spell it). He was the most professional stylist I've had at all the Supercuts locations I've been to. He carefully selected the color for my roots touch-up; evenly covered my roots to make sure no gray hair sticking out. The phone rang when he was washing my hair. Chein was the only one working while I was there, but he didn't leave me hanging. I have had someone dropped everything in the middle of the wash to grab the phone without informing me; water was all over my face and collar. He didn't rush because of that; he made sure that all the dye was washed out. After he toweled dry my hair, he then excused himself to take the phone call. As far as haircut, he asked me a few times to make sure that I got the length I wanted, which I appreciate. Someone was waiting in line while he was cutting my hair; he didn't rushed through because of that either. One thing I felt kind of interesting... he asked what product I usually use on my hair, I told him hair oil at the end of my hair. I thought he would put some on my hair, but he didn't. Oh, when I checked-in, there was a Yelp offer for $2 off; I showed it to Chein and he said that he'll give me that off. However, I didn't get it when I paid. I'm by no means a licensed hair stylist, but I did take some classes back in college for fun. I have my own tools and I do haircut for friends and family from time to time. I would do my own too, but sometimes I feel lazy. That being sad, I know the basic of haircut. While at the salon it seemed fine; at home, I found just tiny bit unevenness in the front. What I also didn't think was appreciative was the two ladies speaking in Spanish thinking I didn't know what they were saying. Update- She did fix it up and it is much better than it previously was. I went their earlier today after work. My stylist was Sue. I went initially for a simple fade using a 1 on the sides and a simple trim on top. But I forgot to tell her about the trim on top and she remembered what I got the last time I was there and just did that. My fault. The haircut was great. The only disappointment about SuperCuts in general is that they are leading themselves to charging too much for haircuts. The haircuts alone are $20. Today I found out that if you request a particular stylist, they charge you an additional $3, which was not mentioned on the mobile app when I reserved my time. This $3 charge is added whether you request your stylist at least at this location no matter the method; mobile app, mobile web site, full web site, telephone, or walk in. I would have thought that since SuperCuts is not all corporate owned salons anymore, that the individual franchised salons would start lowering their prices to be more competitive in the market. But this is not the case as of right now. They are heading to pricing themselves out of the marketplace. Now don't get me wrong, Sue did a great job on my hair. It's just the overall pricing from SuperCuts in general, no matter the location, that needs to be fixed. read more

I came for a quick cut during my lunch and I was pretty surprised by my haircut. I feel people knock Super Cuts a lot, but I got a really nice fade and trim over here. I mean, a quick, cheap, clean cut? What's there to hate lol. I was asked to sign in with warm smiles and was quickly helped within a few minutes of sitting down. My hair dresser's name was Julie and she was really sweet! She asked me what I had wanted and always made sure that I was happy with her direction before she went with a general cut. Great cut this time! Supercuts in general are a hit or miss, it depends on the stylist. This last time was a Mexican lady who graciously cut my ever growing hair the way I wanted it. Just trimming, leaving it all straight and no layering. In many other Supercuts you ask for no layers and, don't know why, if the stylist is Asian...I get some layers as gift, I like it or not! (not sure if has to do with beauty school attended or what, but weird). In any case, since my heavy loaded capillary needs continuous cutting, I will keep looking for the cheapest options, in this case long life to the super coupons from Supercuts. read more

She didn't not want to spend time and effort for a ladies' haircut. There are strands of hair hanging out from both sides and my hair on the back looks terrible. Was getting lunch in the huge shopping center and since I had time left I went in to get a haircut. Looks like it's a brand new place. Was spotless inside. Everyone there was really nice. Had my hair cut by Sue. She was really great. Normally when I get a cut I just want to get in and get out but we had such a great conversation that it made it a fun experience. Jennifer (barely spoke English so I'm assuming it's her American assumed name) did not understand the simple concept of a 1/2" trim no matter how many times I gestured with my fingers. I had mixed clumps that were as long as 1.5 inches falling on my apron thing. I asked her to use the feathering scissors to try to even out her lawnmoweresque butcher job only to see bigger chunks appear. HORRIBLE! There is no way this person has had professional training. I wore a hat all day. My GF about dropped dead when she saw it. Literally big divots next to longer uncut pieces. A drunk, blindfolded monkey hunting for lice would not have left such a mess. Got a haircut from Jenny... worst haircut I've ever gotten in my 27 years of life. Last time I was in, I was getting a haircut from someone else and someone was arguing with Jenny about how poorly his hair was cut -- someone else had to fix his hair for him. I thought he was overreacting, but that wasn't the case. Long story short... don't go to this Supercuts, but if you happen to be there, avoid Jenny at all costs. My first impression of the store was sitting down, and then being waved over to a seat. I wanted a combover with a 1 inch taper, nothing too difficult. The hair dresser proceeds to cut all of my hair with the same length of clippers. At this point, the top of my head is cut so short that it's sticking up like a porcupine. She cleans up around my ears and neck and asks if I like it. It's past the point of no return, however the taper is terrible and is not evenly cut so I ask if she can fix it. She at least evened out the hair, but it's still not tapered. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere! read more

okay so i grew out my hair for a good 9 months. the last hair stylish i went too was very good and i loved my my hair "evolved" throughout the months and got even better but it got to the point where i needed to get a trim and redo my bangs. i decided to go to this supercuts because it was one closer by and two seem decent. i got in and got seat by Araceli. i spent a good time explaining what i wanted and showed lots of reference pictures. i made sure to ask her if she understood what i wanted and she was like yes yes i do. so i said okay and let her do her thing. it was pretty empty too but i thought it was just a slow day. she analyzed my hair?? then got to cutting and i should have taken it as a red flag when she didn't section my hair. she didn't look like she knew how to cut hair but i decided to trust the process and that resulted to me crying as soon as i walked out of the door. it's all based on experiences and opinions but personally i would not go to another supercuts ever. read more
