I understand the policy (we called to let Stella know we were running behind, literally less than ten minutes late and we felt really bad about that. That's why we called..), ... What my point is, and what I don't understand, is the rudeness and coldness: We've called several times where we are rushed off the phone. It's a running joke in our house bc my kids hear how rude she is when we make our appointments... but we try to laugh it off bc my son loves his haircuts there. Additionally, the price of the haircut changes by $5 every other time we are there. It's truly confusing for the customer. I get everyone has their bad days, but glancing at your watch several times without even greeting us when we walk in is not helpful. It was demeaning and uncomfortable for me and my son. We arrived at 5:09, not 5:05, I'm sorry....your business, your policy. I get it. You just don't have to be rude. That's all. Common courtesy and kindness can go a long way. Sending you peace and kindness Mimi. *** We love Stella and she always does my son's hair so well. Mimi on the other hand is very rude on the phone and in person, always acts as if we are bothering her - Rude when we call to make our appointment and rude when we get there. She is lucky she has good stylists. Common courtesy and kindness is not too much to ask for.

I especially liked that she was able to preserve my length, but also got rid of all the dead parts + gave life to my hair. I have very thick, abundant, long hair that can be hard to work with, so I am very picky with who I trust to cut my hair. However, Ana knows exactly how to work with my type of hair, and there was never a moment of doubt while she was cutting it as she would consult with me before making any major cuts. I also asked for whispy bangs, and she let me know ahead of time that I would have to train them for them to sit the way they do in the picture due to my middle part. I came in today to have my mess of hair restyled and cut. I was matched with a young woman named Andy. I couldn't be happier with how amazing my hair came out. A CHANGE IN LIFE TURNED INTO FINDING SOMETHING GREAT:…read more A year ago I just began a new job and with my new schedule I had to find a new hairstylist. The question arose; who would be taking care of my locks? Fortunately the answer wasn't far away because my sister had been getting her hair done at Scissor Kicks Too by a fantastic woman she raved about named Annette. Once my sister started seeing her, my niece also began to go, soon followed by my brother-in-law and nephew. Their hair always looks great. I especially like my niece's hair because she is always choosing to do something different; whether it be changing her hair color or adding feather extensions, I look forward to see what creative things Annette can do. It seemed like going to Scissor Kicks Too to see Annette was becoming a family affair and I couldn't resist to try her out for myself. I most certainly was not disappointed because I found out that Annette is extremely knowledgeable about the profession. I continue to see her because she always explains and educates me about my hair type, face structure, the best way to style it, and sometimes even the best clothing to wear in order to maximize the beauty of my hair. It is nice because even if she would suggest something different, she listens to what I like and gives me exactly the look that I want. Scissor Kicks Too is a cute salon. The entrance to the parking lot is a bit of a squeeze, but there are always plenty of spaces to park in. The decor is stylish. They have complimentary coffee. The seats are comfy. I always feel relaxed here and recommend this place to anyone. So I'm happy that change came into my life because it led me to find a salon and a hair stylist that is truly as good as it gets.
