She was very impatient during consultation but I see they are very busy so didn't think too much of it. I had high hopes, I came in with a very clear idea of what I wanted--specifically curtain bangs adjusted to my natural hairline and cowlick. I even told the stylist that a middle part doesn't work for me and showed her where I normally part my hair. Despite that, she centered everything and told me she was "just following the picture." That's part of the problem. A reference photo is just that--a reference. Haircuts need to be adapted to the actual person, their features, and how their hair naturally falls. That didn't happen here. The cut felt generic and not personalized at all. I left knowing I'd have to go home and fix the parting myself. This wasn't a disaster, but it was disappointing. Worst haircut. So disappointed. I've been looking for a good hairstylist locally. It's been so difficult. Vibe was good . The salon was nice. My hairstyle was was a sweetheart, but we had agreed on a certain length and she just went at it. It was too late to adjust. I had hair down to my butt and it is SO STRINGY and SHORT now. Layers are Terrible! I don't know how to style it. I've tried giving it a couple weeks to get use to. And I still cannot style it. It's not what we had agreed upon. I miss my hair. I booked a hair consultation with Nathalie after hearing positive things and initially had a good impression as she was kind and welcoming. However, the experience quickly took a disappointing turn due to poor communication and a lack of transparency. From the start, there was a $100 deposit required, which I understood as standard practice to secure an appointment. What felt off, however, was the pressure to immediately book a service even during the consultation. During the first appointment, she proceeded with a bleach strand test followed by a shampoo and blow-dry--none of which she communicated as billable services or even discussed with me beforehand. I appreciated the effort, but there was no clarity around what I was agreeing to at the time. Unfortunately, a personal emergency forced me to postpone the appointment. I let her know promptly, well ahead of the scheduled date. Her response was that she had spent over an hour doing the strand test, shampoo, and blow-dry "in good faith" that I would book--implying I owed her for those services, though again, none of this was clearly communicated beforehand. She allowed me to reschedule within two months. However, when the new appointment came around, she messaged me just hours before to push the time later, despite me having taken off work and commuting 40 minutes to be there. I waited outside the salon and unfortunately missed the new time by 15 minutes which I take full responsibility for. I was very apologetic and was even willing to pay an additional no-show fee. What truly upset me was how I was treated afterward. Instead of hearing from her directly, I received an automated message from the salon with no follow-up. I tried to reach her multiple times, even calling the salon where she told me she'd call back-- which she never did. And I haven't heard from her since. Essentially I paid $100 for what amounted to a blow-dry and no communication. It wasn't just about the money but it was about the lack of professionalism and clarity throughout the process. There are many talented stylists in the area who are not only more transparent about their pricing and services but are also communicative and affordable! I hope this review encourages clearer communication and more thoughtful client care in the future because it has been extremely frustrating to deal with! read more

I hadn't been to a salon in about 6 years and decided it would be time to have my hair done professionally. I had an appointment with Ashleigh and she was very friendly! The session was very long, but the conversation and her friendliness definitely made it much better. Throughout the session I asked many questions about color or hair health and she would instantly give a detailed answer. You can tell she really cares about what she does and her clients' hair health! My hair was previously semi-permanently and permanently dyed with blue, so we had a bit of a consultation about what would be appropriate for my hair health and how often I wanted to come back for appointments in terms of time and budget. I wanted to keep my hair blue, so we decided to go for baby highlights in blue while minimizing the damage done to the green bits of my hair. This was done through lots of toning and color correcting (which was so fun to watch; she mixes colors perfectly!). After all the color correction and lifting, she mixed a shade of denim blue and it was perfect, so we went with that! My hair turned out a very nice denim blue which blends with my virgin hair, which I absolutely love! The cut was also exactly what I asked for. I usually cut my own hair at home (very terribly) and this was such a nice refresh since my ends were also not in the best health. I also asked for face framing layers and that's what I got! Ashleigh is extremely kind and knows how to work with needs in terms of hair health and budget! I got my hair done here yesterday by Marienette and Violette and had an amazing experience! It was super easy to set up an appointment. I texted Marienette a few weeks ago to make the appointment. It required a 20% deposit and I was able to do this via Venmo. If you need to cancel, they need to know at least 24 hours in advance so that they can refund your deposit. They are located in the Canyon Crest Center in a great location. Once I arrived, I was immediately greeted. I only waited for about two minutes. I vocalized what I wanted to Marienette and she did an initial cut before the wash. Marienette's assistant, Violette, greeted me and shampooed and conditioned my hair. Then Marienette proceeded to cut my hair a bit more while it was wet. Violette blow dried my hair, Marienette put the finishing touches on the cut, and then Violette styled my hair. I am so incredibly happy with the results! I wanted my hair to be cut shorter (slightly below shoulder length) and I wanted loose curls. These ladies did an amazing job with the cut and style and I couldn't be happier. My haircut and style was $80 + tip, which is a little pricier than what I'm used to in Riverside, but I think it was worth it because the quality was great. It was a very relaxing experience and I am very pleased with the results. I will definitely be returning! read more

I use to travel almost 45 min away for someone I trust to do my hair, and now I've found one who is near me with half the time of travel.
