I have got about four haircuts from my stylist.My style list was out.So a lady named martha took me. I showed her and told her no more than one inch.She cut three and a half inches off my hair. I called the owner.She offered me a free haircut. So I went there to talk to martha.And she got defensive argued with me and said, yeah, maybe three inches.I cut off and then started speaking in spanish.When I don't speak spanish. She didn't care that I was upset and didn't like my hair. I'm in remission for breast cancer, and my hair has grown out in the last couple years.And i've been devastated ever since she cut it. I have mixed feeling about this place. As far as liking what they do to my hair... yes I liked it (not loved but you get what you pay and it's decently priced). The only issue I have is the timeliness. I have now been here three times with an appointment and EVERY time I have ended up waiting up to 45 min. One was even for my sons hair who is 11 months- which specifically for him is why I made the appt because it's so hard to keep a baby entertained. This particular time with my baby the lady did not listen to what I said at all and next thing I knew my baby had buzzed hair... I went home and cried. But whatever he's a boy and it grew back quick. Back to timeliness... Ironically, there is a sign on the wall that says "appointments have priority" ... hmm. So far I haven't seen that. read more

I walked in for a $14 short cut on Tuesday -- the acid punk pixie was starting to become a shag. It's a simple place in a strip mall, but the service is excellent and the price is right. I made reservation and I showed up early and they still accommodated me and I didn't have to wait. Service was good and Alita was friendly. I'm giving this place a one star because Norma, the lady that cut my hair completely did a sloppy and lazy job. So I went in asking if they could cut my dead ends and she said yes. I trusted that she knew what she was doing, so she starts with the scissors and as I'm watching I noticed that she did not part my hair but I'm giving her a chance. Then she just cuts anything she sees that has dead ends, that's when I got worried but when she got done the front of my hair looked good. I was a little taken back at the fact that she didn't show me the double mirror where I can see the back part of my head. Well I paid, left a tip, and went home. Once I got home I took a look at how she left my hair in the back and I was so upset and angered. Mostly I was angry because this horrible hair cut was very obvious and no one would be happy to walk out from a salon looking like how she left me. She clearly knew what she did was horrible and a lazy job. The next day I went back to get my money because there is no excuse for how she left my hair. Norma excuse was "you said you wanted your tips to be cut" not "I'm sorry" or "let me try and fix it". She sat there trying to justify this horrible and lazy job she did. I am writing on behalf of my mom. She went to get a perm and the lady (Eliada) pulled her hair so much that some of the strands came out. She also burned the back of my mom's neck from the solution and her negligence. Try to avoid Eliada because she does not do a good job. My mom also was left at the sink for more than half an hour with a cloth over her eyes so she can't see until Eliada finally came back to wash her hair. Unsatisfactory work because some of the strands of my mom's hair are still straight. Also she will ask for $60 on the phone and when you get there she will say $65 what a scam!!! read more

Price of a basic men's haircut is $12 which is reasonable but not the $8-10 as mentioned in most reviews. For what you get, it's plenty worth it and it's nice that they charge more for longer hair. This way you don't feel ripped off when your haircut takes 5 minutes and the dude next to you with shoulder length hair, twice as long or more is taking forever. But my haircut ended up taking slightly longer than usual since Elida took great care to ensure that there were no stray hairs left untrimmed and cleaned up so that I wasn't left with hair all over me. My new favorite hair place! Walked in this past Saturday based on Yelp reviews and I couldn't have been happier. I asked for a balayage color style with a trim. I was taken care of right away as it was Memorial Day weekend and there were only a few clients. I was taken in by Liz and started off with the bleach and color right away. I had very dark brown and very thick hair so she took a while foiling but was very patient and had great conversation! She didn't make me feel uncomfortable or like I was taking up all of her time (which I was lol). I then sat under the heater or whatever it's called and then went for a wash then style. Overall, the whole process took about 3-4 hours. The results are amazing!!!! I'm more than happy with my hair, the trim and the colors!! I'm so happy I walked in on a whim and met Liz. Gotta wait until those people were done, then the older lady took care of my daughter and I Showed her what style my daughter wanted, first she cut it a little too little, then i showed her the picture again, then said that it was not a good haircut for a child? Needed to get cleaned up for family event. Walked in with no appointment, didn't wait long. The woman who cut my hair was great, I can never remember what number I want for my sides but she did a few numbers for me, turns out my magic number is 3 for the sides. Was so happy she did that for me. Was a totally fair price for a guys haircut 10/10 would recommend. Will be back for a haircut and to see if they trim beards too. I have gotten a few haircuts here and they usually do a good job. I got highlights done at a different place and needed a touch up so I went in to Style Cuts last week for a touch up. Made an appointment but wasn't assigned a specific hairdresser I get there and Norma rushed her client to get me in her chair. She cut in front of her coworker and the two argued in the back for a while in the meantime I was waiting in the salon chair. I thought it was very unprofessional. They went back and forth about who would do my hair. Fast forward, highlights came out okay, a few thick highlights that need better toning but I'll fix them somewhere else. I also asked for a small trim and Norma cut my hair shorter than I asked. She made my front pieces uneven and asked her to fix them and so she had to cut shorter than I wanted. Not a big deal at the time and after she did a blow dry with curls. Next day I straighten my hair and find that the hair cut was AWFUL! Hair was not cut even and the layers were terribly done! I was very upset and called to get it fixed by Clara. She was kind and did amazing at fixing it but I was upset that I needed to cut my hair shorter in order to fix the mess.
