AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! Took my family in for two cuts. Both ladies had hair down to their waistlines. One cut was decent. The stylist took her time and did a great job - took about an hour. The other cut was horrible. It literally lasted about 6 minutes and looks like a 6 minute cut. Instead of a hello or any acknowledgment, the woman behind the counter looked right at us and said flatly, "We're fully booked. Come back tomorrow." No kindness. No questions. Just a cold dismissal. Informational review related to toddler haircuts. I was told this morning if my toddler (2 years old) was not able to sit alone the stylist would not be able to cut his hair. She stated the licensing board did not allow it and she would not risk her license. I completely understood and walked out with no problem. If that's policy/procedure great, I'm not bashing the business. Just letting other parents know to seek business elsewhere that allow you to sit with your toddler and don't waste time like I did. read more

Happened a while ago (barely getting over the experience). My own experience and opinion. Made an appointment with a male hair stylist. Was on time.. and I asked the stylist questions and told him how I wanted my hair. He got annoyed that I asked him too many questions... would not do my hair. I asked for a manager- and was told by him and the other staff that there wasn't one. Was ignored by all other employees. I did not voice out my concerns earlier because I was so upset and did not want to directly attack the woman who worked on my hair. If you are looking to play with your hair, there are stylist here who will listen to your ideas and will give there full effort to style your hair. Melissa is the stylist who I have the blessing to have my hair cut by. I have thick Latino straight hair, I mentioned my plan on how I want to brush my hair back. Short on the sides, with some length on the top. Some what complex, to say the least. Melissa's skill of blending, fading and cutting is brilliant. Very experienced and intelligent, I'd say. I went to get my hair cut before my daughters birthday party tomorrow and came out like THIS! My bangs are half the length I asked for (see reference pic) and I asked for layers in my hair and came out with a crooked U shape. Some parts are longer than most but they wouldn't even give me a full refund for ruining my hair. Christie was nice and all, but I didn't go for the conversation, I went for the haircut. It's very encouraging to know that Supercuts maintains a level of excellence with each guest's experience. But I would have just waited to see our stylist end of the week, but this one was his dad's "unresearched" find. Every other walk-in salon in the area was 69 min or longer and this one we got in within a few minutes. Maybe should have been a red flag? Definitely not worth a $24 (with tip) haircut, in my opinion. The cut and trim was okay- nothing spectacular. This hair fiasco is his dad's fault due to lack of planning. I became hesitant when I watched the stylist trim with scissors and assumed a less than confident shear technique. Even the back neck area was left uneven, as she explained it was due to my son's hair growing in two different directions.... I was confused as he's never had this issue arise before in all of his haircuts. The front he can't style except like a bowl shape. My son is not happy with it and already threw his hat back on. My apologies to my son. The only saving factor may be that it's left (crooked) and longer so we can try and adjust it with our regular stylist closer to home. read more

I came in here asking for a 4-5" trim, my hair was basically down to my butt. The length was supposed to be right below my chest when finished. The gentlemen that cut my hair went over everything verbally and all sounded good except when he was finished my hair was right below my shoulders.. he cut off almost a foot of hair! Like seriously, what happened? He asked if it felt healthier and I said yes, but it's a little short. I was in a bit of a hurry because my mom and 9 month old son were waiting for me and I just got out of there, not saying anything else. When I came home and really got a look at it, the layers were all uneven and it all looks very choppy, not to mention how short it is. I'm pretty upset, It will take years to grow back. read more

I cut my hair on 26 Jan 2023, at the Riverside, Magnolia Town Center branch around 10:30am. Greg (blond hair with an apron full of tags) cut my hair. He made a ton of negative comments about my hair such as "oh, your hair grows in different directions, the back wants to grow toward the front, and the front toward the back", and "do you put anything other than water in your hair" and laughed about it when I said no. He also used the word "clean" a bunch of times like "how can I clean you today?", and "do you feel more clean now [after my service]?" Just to clarify, he didn't shampoo my hair afterwards. He also laughed at me because of the static electricity that was built on my hair when he was combing it. Similar stuff happened the previous time he gave me a cut. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he certainly says these stuff on purpose. On my first encounter with him, he was focused on my hair's cow licks, and this time on other aspects. This dude needs intense training on racism and on how to talk and comment on his customer's hair. The next day, I called the store and talked to the branch manager, Kim (?). She listened to me and at the end, her brilliant suggestion was: try other stores. She wasn't even interested looking into the problem. She promised to call me back about the results of her "investigation" but I never got any calls. I also made a complaint to the Supercuts' central website, but nobody responded ever. I won't go to any Supercuts store anymore until they apologize and do something about such discriminatory and rude behaviors. I came home and styled it and it looks super cute. I'm really happy. I have a hard time with my hair and this is probably the best it's ever looked. I switched to this location (which by the way is out of my way...I drive across town to go there) because the stylists at the salon closer to me struggled to provide a nice haircut. Out of desperation and fear I drove across town hoping a Stylist at this location could provide what I needed. I ended up deciding to get a completely different haircut, one that I was positive the location near me wouldn't be able to do. This is a drastic cut that I absolutely LOVE because the Stylist paid attention to what I communicated to her. And I brought in a pic to show her what I desired. I forget how to spell her name, KYRSTI(?). Not Kyrsten. After my awesome haircut, I drove home and came back with my daughter so she could get her hair cut off super short as well and she absolutely adores her hair too. We ONLY use Kyristi. She knows our hair, having someone else do it would be stupid. We have been seeing for 3 months now and I convinced my husband and sons to stop using random barbers and to use "my girl" only, because they will get the same cut over and over. So now she cuts my husband and 2 sons hair as well. She does a fantastic job on my family of 5. The only thing I don't like is not being able to make an appointment for her so I can only go when she opens. The 5 of us all have very short hair and 2 of us seem to need a trim after only a week and a half. So being able to set a time would be more helpful. read more

I went to get my hair cut 9/23/2014 and cried hysterically the whole way home. I get there and was helped by Cara. I told her I wanted two inches cut off of my hair, which was about to my belly button. I told her that I just wanted to make it less dead as well as add layers. She was just generally asking about my hair, and I told her that my hair lost about half its thickness when I was around 20. I am in the chair and she recommended that I cut three inches. I agreed to it and she began. She tells me to look down so she can cut the back of my hair, and all the usual. I look back up and she flips my hair in front of my shoulders. I say, "why does it look so short" and she responds that the black apron is just hiding where my shoulders is. She takes off the black robe, and my hair is about two inches past my shoulders. I put my hands to my mouth and said "oh my god." She tells me "I know you were talking about thickness, and normally I woudn't take off length, but I really felt this would look best." Trying my best not to cry, I just got my eyebrows done quickly and left. I cry hysterically the whole way home. My husband gets home and says, "oh my god what did they do to your hair?!?!!?" He calls the manager who does not offer any rectification. I was facetiming with my sister, and showing her the messed up hair, and one side is significantly shorter than the other, even when put in a ponytail. In short: got about triple the amount chopped off that I asked, uneven hair, and didn't even do layers. read more

I took my 2 daughters here and myself. The girls were very nice. We all just got an inch trim straight across. 21$ to cut $5 to shampoo $10 to blow dry. My 6 year old daughter wanted her hair curled. I thought probably another $5. Nope. They charged me $40 extra dollars for curling her hair. My 6 year olds daughters haircut cost me $75. What a rip off. Pure robbery. They should have told me it was $40 to curl before they did it. Ridiculous. I will never go there again. Supercuts contacted me and refunded $25 of the $40 to curl my 6 year olds hair. They are very nice and knowledgeable. Still too pricey to wash cut dry and curl my daughters hair it was $50. My regular hair dresser charges $35 for everything but was unavailable that day. Supercuts gave me two free cuts also for the mistake. I will go back and use them. They do a really good job. Just be careful of all the added charges read more
