My family and I were loyal customers here for over eight years. Today was our last visit. We arrived at 5:15 (they close at 6pm). Instead of a hello or any acknowledgment, the woman behind the counter looked right at us and said flatly, "We're fully booked. Come back tomorrow." No kindness. No questions. Just a cold dismissal. She didn't even greet us or ask what we wanted. That kind of treatment is unacceptable. To the owners: my time, gas, and effort matter. I came to give you business and was treated like I didn't belong. No one deserves to be spoken to like that. You've lost five loyal customers. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! Took my family in for two cuts. Both ladies had hair down to their waistlines. One cut was decent. The stylist took her time and did a great job - took about an hour. The other cut was horrible. It literally lasted about 6 minutes and looks like a 6 minute cut. Unfortunately this is one of those bad experiences that can't be corrected or mitigated in any way. read more

Came here a bit ago to get my layers fixed up and some face framers. My hair was really long, sits around my waist. Told the lady to not chop my hair because I hate short hair and have been going my hair out for years, and to just give me some layers and I walk out with my hair ending by my chest. Really disappointed with the outcome and she gave me short chopped pieces behind my head near my roots, I haven't been able to straighten my hair or style it because of that. Hair is uneven as well. Usually would have a good experience but this is my last time going unfortunately. read more

Awesome customer service at this location. I have been to several super cuts locations and this by far is my favorite now. Awesome atmosphere. Lily did a great job with my haircut. Highly recommend this location. read more

Desiree the stylist was amazing. So knowledgeable, kind, and inviting. She went above and beyond by giving me tips and explaining everything. She shampooed, cut, and styled my hair. I felt beautiful leaving. She made my experience amazing. read more

Moved here due to closure of Tyler location. Terrible service and wait times. I waited for an hour after only having one person in front of me when walking in. read more

Went here because of the closure of the Tyler location. The first haircut here was really great. The second haircut (my last one) was really bad. I had to wear that cut through my birthday, Christmas, and New Year's Eve and Day. I need another haircut now, and have been putting it off as long as possible. Whenever I think of going again, my stomach knots up. Between the last haircut and the prices, I think this long-time customer is a customer no more. read more

Idk if the people here just hate their job or what but they are always closing early, their hours are whenever they feel like working I guess, I was turned away when I got there 30 min before closing time, the girl told me they "were filled committed for the day" when there was only one other person waiting. Disappointed but not surprised read more

I have been coming here for years. Each stylist has always taken their time and had the patience with what I asked for. Quality is worth the price, hair color included. read more

Informational review related to toddler haircuts. I was told this morning if my toddler (2 years old) was not able to sit alone the stylist would not be able to cut his hair. She stated the licensing board did not allow it and she would not risk her license. I completely understood and walked out with no problem. If that's policy/procedure great, I'm not bashing the business. Just letting other parents know to seek business elsewhere that allow you to sit with your toddler and don't waste time like I did. read more

Only go to Crystal, made the mistake of going when she wasn't there and I don't know when they started allowing people who didn't go to school to cut hair, cut hair. Asked for longer curtain bangs, starting were under my brow, and I got the exact opposite. Short, above the brow, straight across bangs. read more

Happened a while ago (barely getting over the experience). My own experience and opinion. Made an appointment with a male hair stylist. Was on time.. and I asked the stylist questions and told him how I wanted my hair. He got annoyed that I asked him too many questions... would not do my hair. I asked for a manager- and was told by him and the other staff that there wasn't one. Was ignored by all other employees. I stood at the desk until a girl said that there was no manager and no number. It's been awhile- so I hope they hired more professional people. read more

I can't thank Greg enough for seeing my vision. I came in a stranger and left a very happy friend! I feel lighter and I'm so glad I didn't take the scissors to my own hair . Great experience all around. The environment was super calming too. Great music. Well done! read more

My first time here. Clean and spacious and good service. I can be difficult but I liked Litzy's haircut. Open 7 days!

Supercuts immediately reached out after reading about my negative experience, which of course I really do appreciate. I did not voice out my concerns earlier because I was so upset and did not want to directly attack the woman who worked on my hair. I think it's awesome to even be offered a chance to correct the mistake free of charge even months after the haircut. My review was based on a worker rather than Supercuts itself. I've been coming to Supercuts at the Moreno Valley location for years and this review was my first time at the Magnolia location. Thank you management for being on top of it! read more

Horrible service. Did early check in & when I arrived they said I had to still wait 40 minutes & early check in means nothing

I had a haircut today by Deanna, and it was great. I will definitely go back for another haircut by her.

Every Supercuts I have been to, has always had a professional staff. If you are looking to play with your hair, there are stylist here who will listen to your ideas and will give there full effort to style your hair. Melissa is the stylist who I have the blessing to have my hair cut by. I have thick Latino straight hair, I mentioned my plan on how I want to brush my hair back. Short on the sides, with some length on the top. Some what complex, to say the least. Melissa's skill of blending, fading and cutting is brilliant. Very experienced and intelligent, I'd say. Pleasantly charismatic, many great conversation. A Big Heart in her trade, customers and co-workers. I've had my hair cut by other staff as well and had similar experience, solid company. read more

The kid cutting my hair was nice, but he didn't give me the haircut I asked for. I showed him a pic and asked for thinning which he didn't do and my hair is still heavy, which is why I went for the cut in the first place. And for what I paid I could've just went to a higher end salon. read more

When asked for my phone number I said I prefer not to give it. She said without a number they wouldn't cut my hair. $30 plus a tip went out the door with me. What kind of policy is that? Unless they're losing revenue not having a number to sell , why would they care? read more

I went to get my hair cut before my daughters birthday party tomorrow and came out like THIS! My bangs are half the length I asked for (see reference pic) and I asked for layers in my hair and came out with a crooked U shape. Some parts are longer than most but they wouldn't even give me a full refund for ruining my hair. Christie was nice and all, but I didn't go for the conversation, I went for the haircut. Absolutely disappointing. read more

Great job on my kids hair. The stylists so nice and patient. Efficient and clean. They are back to school ready.

Update as of 8/16/19 Thank you to Shirley for acknowledging our experience as well as reaching out to me via email. I appreciate your professionalism and following up with us to help better the location. Based on that alone, I felt necessary to note to raise another star. It's very encouraging to know that Supercuts maintains a level of excellence with each guest's experience. She encouraged me to visit again so that they may get to improve my last initial impression, or to get an opportunity to correct the previous stylist's cut. Thank you for that. We understand not each location is exactly the same, but they definitely strive to maintain excellence and want to ensure each guest visit is very content and positive. I am confident we will revisit Murrieta's location as we have in the past and understand our last visit here has room for improvement. Thank you for addressing my notes. ~Regards Original Review as of 8/11/19: Last minute haircuts are never a good idea. Poor planning on my part. But I would have just waited to see our stylist end of the week, but this one was his dad's "unresearched" find. Every other walk-in salon in the area was 69 min or longer and this one we got in within a few minutes. Maybe should have been a red flag? Definitely not worth a $24 (with tip) haircut, in my opinion. The cut and trim was okay- nothing spectacular. This hair fiasco is his dad's fault due to lack of planning. I became hesitant when I watched the stylist trim with scissors and assumed a less than confident shear technique. Even the back neck area was left uneven, as she explained it was due to my son's hair growing in two different directions.... I was confused as he's never had this issue arise before in all of his haircuts. The front he can't style except like a bowl shape. My son is not happy with it and already threw his hat back on. My apologies to my son. The only saving factor may be that it's left (crooked) and longer so we can try and adjust it with our regular stylist closer to home. read more

I came in here asking for a 4-5" trim, my hair was basically down to my butt. The length was supposed to be right below my chest when finished. The gentlemen that cut my hair went over everything verbally and all sounded good except when he was finished my hair was right below my shoulders.. he cut off almost a foot of hair! Like seriously, what happened? He asked if it felt healthier and I said yes, but it's a little short. I was in a bit of a hurry because my mom and 9 month old son were waiting for me and I just got out of there, not saying anything else. When I came home and really got a look at it, the layers were all uneven and it all looks very choppy, not to mention how short it is. I'm pretty upset, It will take years to grow back. read more

Today was the first time I've ever been here. Kirsten cut my hair and she did an amazing job. She explained everything to me that she was doing, asked me questions, and my hair turned out perfect. I came home and styled it and it looks super cute. I'm really happy. I have a hard time with my hair and this is probably the best it's ever looked. I think I will only have her cut my hair from now on. Thank you Kirsten I love it. read more

I cut my hair on 26 Jan 2023, at the Riverside, Magnolia Town Center branch around 10:30am. Greg (blond hair with an apron full of tags) cut my hair. He made a ton of negative comments about my hair such as "oh, your hair grows in different directions, the back wants to grow toward the front, and the front toward the back", and "do you put anything other than water in your hair" and laughed about it when I said no. He also used the word "clean" a bunch of times like "how can I clean you today?", and "do you feel more clean now [after my service]?" Just to clarify, he didn't shampoo my hair afterwards. He also laughed at me because of the static electricity that was built on my hair when he was combing it. Similar stuff happened the previous time he gave me a cut. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he certainly says these stuff on purpose. On my first encounter with him, he was focused on my hair's cow licks, and this time on other aspects. This dude needs intense training on racism and on how to talk and comment on his customer's hair. The next day, I called the store and talked to the branch manager, Kim (?). She listened to me and at the end, her brilliant suggestion was: try other stores. She wasn't even interested looking into the problem. She promised to call me back about the results of her "investigation" but I never got any calls. I also made a complaint to the Supercuts' central website, but nobody responded ever. I won't go to any Supercuts store anymore until they apologize and do something about such discriminatory and rude behaviors. It's been four month since the incident and my complaint and I am positive that neither the manager nor the Supercuts headquarter give a damn. Siavash read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!!! The girl who did my hair was a blonde pretty girl, she killed my piXie hair!! She was trying to start a conversation! What the hell! I'm paying you to cut my hair not to have a conversation! Now my hair is done for! On one side of my hair next to my ear, it's gone and the other side has hair! Never never go there! I'd rather have my nephew cut my hair than these people! Oooo great news he'd only charge a hug, these people who went to beauty school charged me 20 still! That's like a slap in the face, give me no hair on one side without saying anything and still charge me money. read more

I switched to this location (which by the way is out of my way...I drive across town to go there) because the stylists at the salon closer to me struggled to provide a nice haircut. Out of desperation and fear I drove across town hoping a Stylist at this location could provide what I needed. I ended up deciding to get a completely different haircut, one that I was positive the location near me wouldn't be able to do. This is a drastic cut that I absolutely LOVE because the Stylist paid attention to what I communicated to her. And I brought in a pic to show her what I desired. I forget how to spell her name, KYRSTI(?). Not Kyrsten. After my awesome haircut, I drove home and came back with my daughter so she could get her hair cut off super short as well and she absolutely adores her hair too. We ONLY use Kyristi. She knows our hair, having someone else do it would be stupid. We have been seeing for 3 months now and I convinced my husband and sons to stop using random barbers and to use "my girl" only, because they will get the same cut over and over. So now she cuts my husband and 2 sons hair as well. She does a fantastic job on my family of 5. The only thing I don't like is not being able to make an appointment for her so I can only go when she opens. The 5 of us all have very short hair and 2 of us seem to need a trim after only a week and a half. So being able to set a time would be more helpful. read more

My wife and I just had our hair cut at this location...it was amazing! We both look fantastic! I went to get my hair cut 9/23/2014 and cried hysterically the whole way home. I get there and was helped by Cara. I told her I wanted two inches cut off of my hair, which was about to my belly button. I told her that I just wanted to make it less dead as well as add layers. She was just generally asking about my hair, and I told her that my hair lost about half its thickness when I was around 20. I am in the chair and she recommended that I cut three inches. I agreed to it and she began. She tells me to look down so she can cut the back of my hair, and all the usual. I look back up and she flips my hair in front of my shoulders. I say, "why does it look so short" and she responds that the black apron is just hiding where my shoulders is. She takes off the black robe, and my hair is about two inches past my shoulders. I put my hands to my mouth and said "oh my god." She tells me "I know you were talking about thickness, and normally I woudn't take off length, but I really felt this would look best." Trying my best not to cry, I just got my eyebrows done quickly and left. I cry hysterically the whole way home. My husband gets home and says, "oh my god what did they do to your hair?!?!!?" He calls the manager who does not offer any rectification. I was facetiming with my sister, and showing her the messed up hair, and one side is significantly shorter than the other, even when put in a ponytail. In short: got about triple the amount chopped off that I asked, uneven hair, and didn't even do layers. read more
