Sophia was excellent. I also enjoyed an atmosphere in which I didn't have to endure low-level conversation topics and/or constant profanity from others present as I relaxed during my haircut. I'll be back... read more

They have a dumb person working there that doesn't know how to listen when you say only a couple inches and then he cuts 12 inches of hair off. They suck at their job. The new guy they say was they're responsible for it, but how are you gonna put a new person to cut hair if they don't know what they're doing doesn't even know how to put a hair clip on read more

Yomara did a fantastic job! It was my first visit and I am impressed with her listening and understanding my hair and what it needed. 10/10!

I walked in after a month of obsessing with a bad ( expensive) haircut in the mirror. Sophia listened to my issues and reshaped my hair perfectly. I have a couple of events this week and I'm so grateful she's made looking in the mirror a positive again! read more

Bailey, did a quick, accurate trim. I was quite impressed as I am a licensed cosmetologist, myself, for 49 years . I will ask for her again.

Always willing to listen to what you want done. All the ladies are nice. Open every day which makes getting your hair done easy. read more

Been going here 6 years. Always friendly, quick, reasonably priced, and I always leave happy with my haircut.

Karen hooked up a nice tight fade for me, very friendly and courteous. The price is right.

I have a great Barber in town but every now and then I can't Gert into see her so I have come here for my haircut. What I have found is that depending on the person cutting your hair it really is a gamble what you are going to get. My last haircut was atrocious in which the lady cutting my hair did a terrible job with my fade and it looked like I was wearing a helmet. The previous time I went which was six month's ago I had a pretty good haircut. This is why I give this establishment only three stars. The issue is the parking is simply horrendous and the people coming in and out of MacDonalds drive like they have never eaten a Big Mac Before. read more

I'm extremely happy with my hair stylist. She does a great job. I'm ver dissatisfied with the way Supercuts manages appointments and their inability I update their online information. Here on yelp and in maps. Hours state they are open at 10 am. They open at 9 am I called yesterday to make an appointment they were booked anD wouldn't book an appointment for today. I was told to call back when they opened. When I called at 10:00 am all appointments were already booked with my stylist. This is because they opened at 9 am. Now I have to go take a chance with another stylist. This will be at another salon, I'm not going to give my Business to a company that doesn't correctly post their information and refuses to facilitate their clients needs. By super cuts. read more

Very very hard to consistently get an excellent haircut. Tammy at Super Cuts is a cut above the rest at the 7 or so places I have tried in Placerville. read more

Had another great visit here, this time with Stephanie. She scheduled an appointment for me quickly and got things going promptly when I arrived. The trim didn't take long since Stephanie was very receptive to my explanations of how I wanted things. And she was very personable, made good conversation, and kept the work flowing effortlessly. Overall, great experience. read more

Wife kindly suggested I never go back. 2nd comment about my hair since Tuesday. Thanks, Supercuts Update: 3 read more

I've been getting my hairs cut here for about 10 months. All the stylists do a pretty good job. Lorena is by far the best. I have had my hair done by many other places that charge way more, but Lorena has given me the best cuts ever! read more

Here's an update. I went to my regular salon and had the same service. The stylist washed my hair really well. She got all of it wet and did a lather rinse AND repeat. She got my hair almost dry and then used a metal brush to straighten. Then she touched up with a flat iron. It took half the time as at Supercuts, and it was $25.00. It was silky smooth, shiny, and smelled wonderful, NOT like Supercuts. read more

If you let your clients leave like this after you tone them, you should be ashamed of yourself. First of all I'm coming back this Thursday to get my money back. Secondly, I'm never coming back after that. Alex decided I lifted to a level 9 (clearly 7.5-8) and used a level 10 and a level 9 toner on my roots, CLEARLY not enough purple to tone! And proceeded to use it on my already level 10 midshaft to ends. She also burned my scalp by leaving the lightener on for more than 45 minutes... (an hour and a half). Terrible... read more

Crystal you are amazing! My family and I came in for a kids cut for my son. We had a idea of what we wanted for him. You explained how it would look when grown out and since he has curly hair it wouldn't grow out like I expected. So you offered a different style and I'm so happy we went with what you said. We will definitely be back to keep it maintained. Thank you again for your great service. You are wonderful! read more

I'm always extremely happy with how Alex cuts my hair. I get compliments on it all the time. She is friendly remembers me even though I wait way too long between cuts. I don't let anyone else do my hair. Thanks again Alex LOVE IT! read more

The stylist needs more training, or simply tell me you do not know how to do the specific style in the picture I handed you.. Congratulations Allison, you failed me. Beyond furious over my hair.. read more

Call ahead and ask if Alex is working. She did a great job on my hair: long layers with side-swept bangs. She seemed very experienced and knew how to work with my thick, wavy hair. I was also impressed with the service I got considering I arrived about 30 minutes before closing and they had a rush of customers in for back-to-school haircuts. One of the stylists had even been there 2 hours overtime, and yet she still provided excellent service at reception. While I waited I watched Alex cut a little boy's hair (short military style cut), and she did a perfect job. I'll definitely be back. read more

I came in Wednesday afternoon, was greeted and told it'd be a 15 or so minutes until I could be helped. I ended up with a lady named crystal cutting my hair and it came out great. I told her how I usually had it cut, but said I wanted to do something a little bit different, and she did it perfectly. Really happy I had her! read more

Normally I wouldn't go into supercuts for color but Stephanie did an amazing job and totally changed my mind about it, think I found my new stylist!!!! Definitely will be back soon read more

They need experience at the desk. They called me up before a gentleman who had his name down first and then must have dropped my name from the list. Waited almost an hour and had 2 customers called up before me. Left a little pissed. Don't go on Sunday's when only 2 are working. The last time I went in the lady did a crappy job as well. read more

I was desparate for a touch up to my color while traveling through Placerville. I was accomodated by my tight time schedule. The hair dresser didn't seem to be familiar with the effects of semi-color, but after I described what I wanted, she adapted. I had good service with a surprisingly high price. read more

They did a great job cutting our boys hair...even the 3 year old managed to get a good cut. We were happy with the service and the cleanliness of the place. read more

It's a Super Cut. They ain't gonna make you look like Beyoncé. But I needed my 3 year old's hair cut. The gal took me as a walk in, was super patient and friendly with my kid, and did a nice job to his hair - quick and efficient for $14. She gave him a lollipop, he didn't cry, Mama was happy. Worth 5 stars. read more

Have been going to this Supercuts for over 4 years now, and I can say with certainty that this place is amazing. Of course, there will be the very few times where someone has a bad experience, but I personally have had none. Crystal and Jen are wonderful stylists, and I ask for them every time (They're the best!). Thank you so much for making me excited to visit your business. read more

I have been going to Supercuts for three years. The manager went on leave to have a baby and things changed dramatically. I went in for a color and Alison not only did a poor job on my hair, but she was making snide remarks to Stephanie about another stylist. Stephanie may be nice to her customers, but she is rude to her coworkers. Do these people think the customers are not aware of their internal gossiping and drama? I'm a paying customer and just want to have my hair done better than I have had it done at Great Clips and have a pleasant experience. Can someone talk to these two about professionalism? read more

I've been coming to supercuts for a few years now. Everyone does a shitty ass job. My hair is almost always uneven after getting a haircut here. All the stylists have attitudes and seem like they don't give 2 fucks about anything. The receptionists they currently have suck. They need to be more friendly and outgoing. If I were to ever come back to this location again I would recommend Krissy or Alex.. very upset on everyone else working there. Also they used to be very clean and no hair what so ever on the floor and the last couple times I have gone in they have had hair everywhere the blonde receptionist not doing anything till last minute. Also haven't seen that very friendly girl with black hair lately. Hope to see her the next trip in. Please just work on how you approach customers always smile. You all have dirty looks and makes my husband children and I very uncomfortable coming in read more

Well need a simple trim of my medium length hair shave the sides and trim the top even... And I got an inch shorter hair on the left then I did on the right... My hair was damp when I left but as it dried it became more and more uneven and choppy. Won't be going back read more

I always go to jennifer at supercuts when i need a haircut. Very professional and a great personality. She's the best!

I went in because I had a coupon. I was amazed at what a great haircut I received. Carly cut my hair just the way I wanted it. I didn't know I wanted it that way but I really did. Carly is really thorough and ask you if that is short enough. Thank- You for a job well done! And yes I will go back even without a coupon!! read more

My regular barber had retired and I bounced around from shop to shop before encountering Jennifer at Placerville Supercuts. Fantastic job (better than my experienced barber) and very personable. Very highly recommended! read more

I would like to add my opinion about a strange review about the only stylist at Supercuts I have touch my hair for about a year now. Nellie C. painted a picture of a very hateful nature. The stylist in her sites has always been very kind and professional to anyone I've seen her do business with. Be it coworkers or clients. She has been taking care of my hair for a year, with no instances of sloppy work. Yet this other persons opinion seemed very rude and frankly slanderous. It's easy to be rude on the Internet. Bullying someone from the safety of your couch. But it is WRONG. I will continue to seek the same person she criticized as the only stylist I need. No matter where she is employed, I will use her as my stylist. read more

This place is great (mostly)! I came in here a few weeks ago for a hair repair cut from a bad cut a couple weeks before. I got my hair cut by Jennifer, she is awesome, professional, and very nice. My hair left evenly trimmed, layered, happy, and soft. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that bad cut I had weeks before??? It was here. The girl who did it was very rude. She seemed really distracted, and angry. She avoided getting started in the midst of a pretty long wait, I must've gotten there at the beginning of her shift, but she stood there for a while playing with her hair, setting up her supplies and standing around it seemed like she was avoiding both the elderly man ahead of me, and a little boy ahead of him. She even pointed to the receptionists desk up front and said to another stylist "You take him" which I thought was extremely rude. This girl must have been having a bad day. I was really upset to get home and find the layers, which I specifically asked her to cut to my center part, were completely crooked, clearly she parted my hair to the side and I couldn't tell while my hair was wet, I ended up with one side of layers that are choppy and about an inch shorter than the other side. I wear my hair up at work so it wasn't a big deal while I waited to go back when I could and part of me wished I had spoken up to the girl, but unfortunately I didn't notice she was doing it differently. I loved the experience the following time I came in, the receptionist was spunky and sweet, and the stylist was great to speak to. I actually walked by a few days in a row to make sure that the girl who had cut my hair before (short with a really round face, tattoos, and dark drawn on eyebrows) wasn't in when I returned. I couldn't stand another completely silent haircut with the stylist staring daggers at other stylists through the mirror, but I've had bad experiences with the great clips across the way so I came back here anyway. This was the first time I'd had my hair cut by the short girl but I've seen her there as most of my family comes here for their hair cuts, and she seems to just be easily annoyed. I wasn't worried since she's worked here for a while, but I will not let her touch my hair again. I like everyone else that works here, and would definitely recommend it but unfortunately the one stylist has burned a bridge with me. read more

Been here 3 times with god aweful service here it goes. The first time i got a decent haircut not worth 15 dollars tho and they wrote down what they gave me and put it into the computer. So the next time I come in I ask for the same thing i got before the next thing I Know 5 mins has gone by and my head is completely military buzzed I mean really whats the freaking computer they put my info in for and they try charging me 15 dollars after that I told myself im never going back. Well I needed a haircut and its in such a convenient spot that i can get it done on my lunch hour I thought i would try it one more time (Big Mistake)!!! I go in sit bigger lady that works there I don't know if shes taking out some frustrations on my Dome or what starts buzzing away like shes a 2 year old playing with a toy monster truck on my head and 5 mins later I end up with a uneven cut and a damaged scalp. Thank god it only took 5 mins, My normal barber charges 12 bucks and puts atleast a good 15 mins into my hair, this place is terrible!!! Stop hiring cosmetology drop outs thanks. read more
