I went here to get my hair professionally done for the first time ever after years of going to great clips and not getting the hair cut I wanted and doing terrible box dye jobs on myself. I was really really anxious to go, because I like my hair and didn't want it to get messed up and butchered. But Lauren understood what I wanted and walked me through it all the way, especially because I let her do what she thought was best. To say the least, I finally got the hair cut I wanted and it looks SO GOOD. She also gave me peek a boo magenta in the exact shade I wanted, and even helped me decide which style I should do based on the thickness of my hair and how I wanted it shown. I wish I could give 0 stars. I went in to see Cheyenne and asked for a balayage with shadow roots. I ended up with chunky, uneven highlights. She left the bleach in for too long and now I have chunks of hair falling out. From the time she started putting in foils to the time she took them out was nearly 2 hours and she never checked once. She was aware it was damaged because I was told I couldn't get it relightened for 2 months... I'm getting married in 20 days. Additionally she left me in the sink for so long I ended up with the whole back of my head/neck bruised. When I called she was extremely unprofessional, refused to refund me or even give me a partial refund, and even called me "sweetheart". Very very disappointed with my service here. So I saw a friend on instagrams hair and color and decided to contact the Instagram account of the salon. I showed the picture of the style and hair color I wanted and asked if I could make a appointment. She told me to come in at 3:30 and gave me the address and time. I showed up to the salon after driving 45 min to get my hair done. I walked in and the lady Nichole who was suppose to do my hair told me I'm so sorry I don't remember scheduling this. I showed her the message she sent me on the Instagram site and She didn't even bother saying let's reschedule you or all give you a discount for wasting your time. I asked her if she could do my hair like she said she could in the message. She said she couldn't. When someone spends their time and day off driving to an appointment and the person who's suppose to do their hair denies them and forgets, it shows poor business skills. If your making an appointment here over Instagram or any social site, make sure to call ahead so you don't have to experience this as well. I had to walk around after with frizzy hair since I assumed I was getting it done. I had plans after the hair appointment and didn't take the time to do my own hair and assumed I would be getting it done. I am very disappointed and had to write this review to let the business owner know that's it's not appropriate how I was treated. I won't be going back to this salon again. Lauren wasn't available when I needed a cut and color, so I was scheduled with Lindsay. The appointment started out okay, and I thought she did a good job. I got home and after looking at the color more closely I found that the color was missed around my face and some parts of the top of my head, and since my hair is very gray it is very obvious. I was sick and on antibiotics and could barely talk for a week, so did not contact the shop to discuss my disappointment right away.
