We waited close to 30 minutes and the stylist called someone who had been waiting maybe 10 minutes. You're under staffed. Both stylists made it clear they didn't want to be there. I will not return because obviously you don't care. read more

I went there and the barber criticized my hair for being too "oily and thick" but my other barbershop that was closed and was chill and tame about my hair... BECAUSE ITS NOT OILY! Other wise the quality of the haircut was Ok wouldn't go there again the cut I got was questionable I bet my dog can do a better fade that that. Found myself recently looking for a new hair stylist after my previous one moved out of state. Last week, I gave the local Supercuts in Orange a try and specifically asked for Raquel after seeing all of her Five Star reviews. After working past her closing time to take care of me, I soon learned why she gets such great reviews. I was totally happy with how it came out, and time passed so quickly as Raquel is a great conversationalist. Found my new stylist and she's a keeper! Thanks Raquel! David read more

Supercuts - The bangs do not look like the inspiration I was looking for and it is too short. - Hair Salons Near Me - Orange, California

I really like this Supercuts. I've been coming to this location for years and have had no problems at all. There is two ladies that I like to cut my hair and they always do a great job and they are 10 minutes cuts. I love the hot towel they put on the back of my neck and wipe off all the tiny hairs left over. Thanks ladies. read more

Originally (in 2023) I was hesitant about coming to this location due to a lot of poor reviews, but I'm glad I did because Cristina won me over and I've been going to her ever since! This weekend I needed a clean up trim and I found out she is now at the Main St location and she wasn't working this weekend like I needed so I decided to try Leticia. Leticia is awesome too! I'm glad I have 2 people I can trust. For reference I have thin hair and I'm always afraid someone's going to cut it too short. But with them when you say I want it as long as possible they only trim off just a little bit, enough to make it healthy. read more

I did the online check in got there before my check in time and before the hairdresser got there...yes there were people waiting who were walk ins...and in front of my face the hairdresser who I did not have the appointment with told the one I had the appointment with "that man has been waiting a long time, she has the appointment take him first." And she did without ever talking to me. What is the point of checking in online if you are not seen at that time or near the time? I've been on the other end as a walk-in and they have always taken the online check in person first. This is ridiculous and a big waste of my time. So I left and will never go back to this unprofessional place again. I felt completely disrespected. I'd give 0 stars if possible. read more

Went here one December Saturday for hubby's haircut since his barber down the road was closed. Of course Supercuts was 3 times plus tip more expensive but he needed the hair cut haha!. This place is clean and wasn't that busy when we came. It was just a short wait then hubby was called to the chair. I'm glad the lady listened to how hubby wanted his hair cut...se a 3 and make it neat. Glad it came out well! read more

I wrote my original review 4 years ago and still go to this location about 1-2 times a year. They're very friendly, skilled, and efficient. I'm in and out in 10 minutes for my haircut (I check in online). Their prices are reasonable too. read more

Best haircut I've had in a while! Thanks Ester. I will be back for sure. The only "negative" was that the Air Conditioner could have been cooler. read more

Worst hair cut I've ever gotten. I said multiple times that I really, really don't want a "blunt edge" and that's exactly when I went home with. At the stylist's recommendation I let her thin the ends instead of layering it and she told me that my ends were "thinner than what I came in with" which is absolutely not true. She did not blow dry the hair to check that I liked how it looked and she told me to "rinse my hair" when I got home because she left a ton of cut hair in my head instead of brushing it out at the salon. This was a gamble and I lost- big time since I will have to pay probably full price somewhere else to get this redone completely. read more

$26....for a terrible hair cut...... Yesterday, The lady didn't even brush out my hair before she cut it.....I've never seen that before. I have been going to this salon for a few years now. I enjoy the easy check in and prices can't be beat. But most of all I go because Ulda really knows how to cut and color hair!! This Supercuts is amazing! I am so happy I went here :) I had accidentally ruined my hair shortly before my wedding and I needed it fixed without cutting any length which I wasn't sure was even possible. I had stylist Mira Yoo at this Supercuts who is so skillful and meticulous, she saved me for my wedding. She evened my hair perfectly without cutting any length just the way I needed. She even showed me how to take care of my hair which worked like a charm. I highly recommend you ask for her if you want your hair done right. read more

I came to get my hair cut. I was originally told the wait would be about 10 minutes. No problem; I can wait. Then I watch them take two men who came in after me, also without appointments. About 30 minutes later I was still waiting. I guess they would rather go for the quick tip and turn over customers. Unfortunate. read more

I think the name of my stylist was Ulda... very sweet and patient. I was a walk-in and was accommodated right away. Worst worst place ever. There was an old lady who was cutting my aunt's hair and she made short on one side and long on the other. She cried after this hair cut because she cut her hair too much even if we told not to. Highly not recommended. Please don't go here. read more

I really don't like leaving negative reviews but the more I think about the experience I had there the more disappointed I feel. I went there because they were in the immediate area I was in & all I wanted was to cut some super simple Bettie Page style bangs & just a small trim on the rest. The "stylist" that I got was a tall thin European lady with grayish/white hair. I show her a picture of what I want & she tells me that they have thick hair & I don't, I said it's ok , I've had them before so I know it'll be fine. Then she's asking me about the rest of my hair & telling me it's not even & she can't clean it up & was pulling up pieces of my hair to show me how uneven it was. I told her I was aware & I'm ok with it, I blow dry & straighten my hair a lot so yes there is breakage but I wasn't asking for her to do anything except the bangs & take an inch off the bottom. She continues to basically degrade my hair the entire time, pulling pieces out straight & telling me to look, then she says "so you color your hair black?" Well it certainly isn't blonde, she continues to tell me that everything I'm doing is bad for my hair & I need a heat protector. At this point I'm so uncomfortable & I just want to go, she finally finished & then takes a product off the wall to show me, it was $30 so I just said "thank you but that's more than I want to spend today" so she puts it back & then grabs another one & begins reading the back of it to me, I just said ok thank you & handed her a tip because I know she did still perform a service even though she made it a horrible experience for me I can't justify it to myself to not tip. I paid the entire $26 for the haircut also even though I don't think she put in enough actual work to call it a haircut, she cut my bangs & took 30 seconds to cut off a little off the end, the whole cutting process was less than 10 minutes... I have a regular stylist that I love but she's always booked in advance & this was a last minute idea & I went to the closest place near me at the time. Needless to say I won't be back. The whole thing was so awkward & I can't believe she really had the audacity to make me feel bad about my hair when hers wasn't great, hers looked like she hadn't brushed or washed it in days so she really had no room & anyway I knew what I wanted & asked for it directly, like I said the more I think about it the more sad I get, I wish I hadn't tipped her because I don't want her thinking she can treat people this way & expect return clients. If you're looking for an inexpensive basic cut, do yourself a favor & drive a little bit further to the Fantastic Sam's on Chapman & Yorba, they've always been great when I've needed an emergency cut or for my 11 year old son's haircuts.... read more

I tried to have my sons haircut here, he's a little bit afraid and I told them that ahead of time, within one minute of sitting in the chair the woman refused to cut his hair because he was "moving his head too much ". I would never ever ever try this place again. read more

I've been getting my hair cut for years from this store. I normally get a great cut here. Staff is very friendly too. However, during this visit it seems as though there's a new guy though. Christian seems inexperienced and nervous. He cut my bangs unevenly and blended it in front to frame my face but that was also uneven. He did not employ the typical techniques to ensure straightness and evenness that I have seen all other stylists use. I had to keep telling him what to do. Then he flipped the apron/cape so hard that hair got everywhere in and on my clothes and face. To top it all off, I had to fix my cut myself when I got home. Be aware! Christian needs more practice! read more

I used to take my daughter to get her bangs cut at the Solana Beach Supercuts all the time. I've never had a problem & so didn't think anything of coming to this location even though we'd never been before. Giant mistake. First of all the receptionist/manager/stylist in charge was way rude. My daughter, a woman waiting and I had to exchange looks every time she barked out at someone coming into the salon. The woman doing the actual haircutting for us was pretty good. She was quiet, but friendly. She did a fair job when all was said & done. Though when we went to pay & I pulled out our Supercuts stamp card, she quickly shuffled away to get the mean lady back, who without even being prompted got really testy about how they didn't accept those anymore. I said, "Okay, that must me new since last time. Is this now at all Supercuts?" (only asking so I could ditch the card if that's the case), but was so angry in the tone of her response, that I had to assume this was not about me or my card. They are not affiliated with other Supercuts who are still doing those cards, I guess (so said another man waiting for his haircut). Anyway, sufficient to say that I won't be returning to that location ever again. I mean, I know you aren't supposed to expect anything fancy at Supercuts, but you should at least have a pleasant experience. read more

I want to give a ZERO but that's not an option. I went to your shop this morning at 10am asked for a dry cut, no shampoo or what ever. I asked several times please just cut it. The lady put oil in my hair then sprayed it with water. Beyond what I asked for. Hell if I wanted all that I would have asked for a shampoo. Then she proceed to fluff my hair, tangling it then tried to comb it. She started pulling it out by the roots. Why the hell can't she just follow my instructions and just cut the dam hair DRY as ask, I asked and asked and asked her to do!?!???? read more

I went here for the first time today. I was fed up with having to pay upwards of $60 for a flippin hair cut. With the economy the way it is and all...I just want to get a decent hair cut for not a lot of money. My sister-in-law goes to this type of place and her hair looks good, so I figured I'd give it a try. Plus, I found a coupon on their website! I called earlier in the week and they stated that they do not take appointments, so you just walk in. I went in on a Friday morning, around 11am. I was the only customer in there, but I figured it was because it was a weekday morning. I was sat down with Maria, who was going to be cutting my hair. Her California Cosmotolegy License was displayed...but oddly the expiration date was cut off. That made me a little nervous, but I figured, what the heck. Maria asked me what I'd like and I asked her to trim about an inch off and re-layer it. She cut, and cut and cut....and I started getting nervous again. The haircut probably could have been over within the first 7 minutes, but I think she felt like she needed to take a little longer to make it worth my while. In the end, she probably ended up cutting off about 2 - 2 1/2 inches, but luckily I didn't mind. So if you specify how much to cut off and they keep cutting, you might want to speak up. Nevertheless, I only ended up paying $14 after using my coupon and then gave her a tip in cash. For $14-$16 for a hair cut, you almost can't beat it! If you're looking for an ultra-professional hair stylist though, obviously you won't find them at Super Cuts. read more
