About 45 minutes later, I walked out after what may have been the most enjoyable haircut of my lifetime. Thank you, Kristy!! We chatted non-stop about so many things, and you were an absolute delight to interact with. And how did my haircut turn out? Stellar, of course.

this place is amazing!!!! Yesterday I went to a salon in town and being new to the area I didn't…read moreknow this would be a grave mistake. I asked for a simple trim with long layers and within three minutes the hairdresser stated she was finished. This shocked me because I was unsure of what she was finished with, certainly not my hair no way! I left confused with wet hair, after I came home I dried it only to be devastated. My once pretty decent hair was so ugly! My long layers were zig zag chopped and uneven I cried and then cried a little more. Today I googled salons in town, this time I wouldn't cry because I did my homework. I called and spoke with gladi she is so sweet and told me I could come right in and she would help me. My car is in the shop so I had to depend on the bus which brought me right to them I was a little later than expected so I called to let her know and she said it's fine she would see me whenever I arrived. I opened the door and gladi welcomed me like family the salon was very clean and the prices were reasonable. sat me down and I told what happened and that I wanted my hair fixed and colored as well, we looked at all of the options for colors and she began her magic. she colored it and washed my hair so good, it was very relaxing. Then the owner came over to cut and style my hair. She was so professional explaining how she can see whoever cut my hair must have rushed or that they were a beginner. She told me she could see that someone attempted to give me long layers but made it choppy and did it all wrong. She took her time with my hair I was nice to not be rushed. She then asked how I wanted to style it and once complete I wanted to cry, this time because I fell so in love, I felt BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I couldn't stop touching my hair. I refuse to go anywhere else, they are amazing!!! It doesn't matter what you're going for, weather it's a wash and blowdry or a trim or if you're adding any color. They will do it right and leave you feeling so good. I am so happy I found this place, I will recommend obession to anyone who wants what they invision their hair to be, you will get it here 100%. I am so grateful I cannot say it enough. I promise you will be satisfied and happy too!

And by all means do not rely exclusively on Yelp for your business choices. With this disclaimer stated, onto my review. I have been a customer of Blades for a solid 10 or more years. I come and go because I live quite a distance from the salon. However, when I want a drastic change or something uniquely me, Blades is the only salon I will visit and I almost always choose its owner, Jay as my stylist. To him, after a discussion, I typically allow full creative liberty l. Let me tell you this was only a blind act of trust the first time when I fell in love with his cuts, the salon and the professional and kind demeanor of every staff member I have ever encountered there. As a result I have become known as the woman who always has amazing hair; a thing I can take zero credit for except in my choice of salons. I hadn't visited the salon in about two years because again, I live over an hour away. I go be a local stylist who did a fair job of keeping hg my great ones and trimmed but had grown bored of the same haircut and style at every visit, even when I asked for change. Without hesitating I picked up the photo be and called Blades. They happened my fit me in for a cut with the owner very modestly priced at 80.00 within a week of my call. I walked out of that salon looking and feels by like a rock star. I'm have had manicures, pedicures and color treatments at Blades and each was a wonderful experiences I simply cannot rave enough about this salon. The entire model is based around be growth and keeping up with current trends. The locale, set inside of a Victorian house in the historic district of Wethersfield, enhances the experiences and takes you beyond a cut and style into the realm of day spa. In all the years I've been going to Blades it is the only salon I have seen every single slinger walk out of looming like the cover of a magazine and it is the ONLY place u will ever recommend without reservation to everyone I know.
