One of the worst haircut experiences I've ever had. I have long, thick hair. I asked the gentleman to part my hair to down the middle and cut it straight across and I don't think he quite understood although the request could not have been more simple. It's not straight and I'm going to have to find a better salon to fix it. I could not get out of this dump fast enough. I paid 24.00 and he might've spent less than 10 minutes on my hair. HORRIBLE!!!! Hands down the worst haircut I've ever received. I asked for a low fade and the woman gave me a high fade, and to top it all off she didn't even know how to properly shape it. There is no fade whatsoever! If she wasn't sure what I was asking for then she should have asked not just started cutting. I will never go back again because she has ruined that place for me! It's sad to have to walk around with the hair cut I have now because someone who calls themselves a professional has no flipping clue of what she was doing!!! read more

I go to this location every 2-4 weeks. I have my favorites as any haircut place. No bad experience over the last 2 years.

I've been going to the same private stylist for years and spending $100- $150 per visit. I'd been putting off getting a trim for months, but finances kept pushing that back-I finally broke down and went to a Supercuts- and I loved it! Who would have thought a $19 haircut could look just as good? I didn't have an appointment, and they were busy, but I was told it would be a 30 minute wait. They took my phone number ad I went to have a bite to eat. They called in about 25 minutes and ushered me in immediately. I have short, thick hair. Let's face it- not everyone can do a black girl's hair, and I was a little worried. But Alicia/ Alyssa was fantastic! She went short and then asked permission before going even shorter. She spent at least about an hour cutting and styling my hair and I never felt like she was rushing to help the next client. Needless to say, I received lots of compliments- and most women were surprised it was a $19 Supercut. read more

Edith and a man named Clair are the best stylist in the industry! I used to drive from Kapolei to see Clair because he does the best highlights. Do not schedule an appointment here if you actually have a schedule to stick to. My boyfriend called and scheduled an appointment. We arrived 5 minutes early and both stylists had clients in their chairs with one person waiting. One of the stylists checked him in and told him to have a seat. It didn't seem too bad. Then, the stylist that checked him in took the person waiting and we had to wait for the next stylist. The stylist he was waiting for was blow drying his client's hair which looked nearly dry, so we thought he would be done in no time. We ended up waiting 40 minutes, when a new (3rd) stylist arrived and the stylist he was waiting for was closing up with the same client before my boyfriend got seated. By this time, there were 4 other people waiting after us. The stylists seemed friendly and helpful with clients in their chairs, but they shouldn't forget about the people waiting. Simply letting waiting customers know an estimated time of how much longer they need to wait makes a huge difference in terms of service and annoyance levels. read more

Horrible experience. Asked for a favor as a first time visitor. I shave my own head but missed a tiny spot before flying to Hawaii for work. Instead of taking the 30 seconds to help someone out- they asked me to wait two hours behind the rest of the customers- I wasn't getting a cut!!!!! Be human. Worthless. read more

I was initially a little bit nervous. This was my first time at the salon and was unsure of how it would go. I was met with a friendly smile, waited no more than 5 minutes (I booked online) and was fortunate to have Cristina work with me. She listened to what I said and gave me a perfect haircut! Okay, so when I went in Sammy told me he could make what I wanted happen. I came in with red on my hair already so he bleached it twice to try and get the color out. I got the deep conditioning treatment to try and counter the damage, but I didn't feel it was too effective due to it melting. I understood all the red wouldn't come out in one session without frying my hair, so I couldn't get the purple the way I'd hoped. He was supposed to also put black on top which never happened even though he said it did. He left my roots the color they were and lied. I also wanted black mixed in but I didnt see any black. Honestly none of that was a big deal but I was upset he accidentally bleached my eyebrow. He said he could dye it black but it wouldn't look natural so I said no. He did however contact me and offer to make it up by treating my dry hair to a different deep conditioner which I appriciate. Thanks for making an attempt to resolve the issue. read more
