I paid approximately $130+ for highlight services, and in my view I did not leave with blonde highlights. After the correction, my hair appeared much darker overall, with minimal blonde visible. I've added photos from both visits for reference I visited requesting natural, low-maintenance blonde highlights that would grow in softly over several months, similar to what I had previously. In my opinion, the result did not match what I had requested -- the highlights appeared very high-contrast and chunky to me. I returned for the advertised color correction guarantee. I requested a toner or root smudge, which I believed would be the appropriate fix. Instead, lowlights were added. In my opinion, this made the result worse. After a second application, my hair appeared to me to be essentially dark brown with minimal blonde visible, even though I had originally requested blonde highlights. I was also charged for a blowout that I was not informed of in advance. I have photos documenting my hair before and after both visits. In my view, they show that after two appointments and time taken off work, my hair went from highlighted to what appears to be an all-over darker result. A refund for the original service was not offered, which I felt would have been an appropriate resolution given my experience -- particularly considering that highlight services cost significantly more than a single process color, and I did not leave with the highlights I requested. This place is my go to! I've had not so great experiences previously at other salons, and don't do much with my hair besides get it cut twice a year. Therefore, for the value and quality, it's the best for me. I usually get a cut and sometimes a shampoo, which runs about $25-35 without tip. The vibe is very casual and both Alex and Jordan are great! They make sure to ask about your preferences, while still making friendly conversation which makes me feel more comfortable. I went for color and while she worked on my hair, she did a rushed and sloppy job and hurried to work on another customer's hair, was gone for too long working on the other person and came back to check on my hair and rinse the dye. Got a fantastic haircut from Alex. I guess I have somewhat challenging hair and for the first time in forever I got a great haircut. My hair looks great when I comb it and even when I just run my fingers through it when I first wake up, which I don't think I have ever been able to do. I have gone about 4-5 times to this salon. Last times was not a good experience. I would make sure you know what you will be charged. I asked for "what I usually get - highlights and lowlights". I was giving one of the stylists a second chance that had not done a good job before. When I got done she rang it up as $25 more than what it should have been. Her excuse was another lady had rung it up for her and it was already in the system (this lady had left for the day) and I would need to call back the next day. When I called they had no intention of giving me any money back. Said they did more foils than normal and they charged me $5 for a "special shampoo" that I did not ask for and besides that she only shampooed it once and usually they do it twice after a coloring. I had a very interesting experience getting my haircut. I check in and was sent off to the woman with the nose ring typically worn by a rodeo bull, bright blue hair and a wool cap. I was kind and pleasant and apparently made the mistake of saying "yes, thank you ma'am". Her response was a terse "I'm not ma'am. I am they/them". I didn't really speak much after that moment for two reasons: A. Never upset the person making your food or cutting your hair. B. If you correct me for being polite, you are an a-hole. If you tell me what pronouns I'm expected to address you by, in defiance of nature, you are a petty tyrant. I wish they/them well, but I think I/me will go elsewhere from now on. read more

First and last time we go there. 1. They didn't deliver what we needed done. 2. They charged us for adult hair cuts for my two kids. 3. They were "puzzled" on why the color wasn't working on my sons hair, but never did they ask what he had in his hair before, nor did they tell me results I wanted were not possible. I came in on a Friday afternoon. I didn't have to wait long for my trim, but I wasn't exactly greeted when I walked in so I kinda just awkwardly stood there. After about five minutes I was seated. The trim went well. It was cut to my liking and relatively quickly, but she didn't offer to blow my hair dry and I didn't get the hot towel treatment. Maybe that's just for people who ask or get certain cuts. I don't know... They really push the products on you though. The girl cutting my hair said I had a dry scalp. I didn't end up buying any of the (expensive) products but I took her advice on how to treat it. The cut was $17, so relatively reasonable but they don't charge you less for a trim. I think its just a set price unless you get a color or something. I'd come back here for trims in the future. Don't expect them to blow dry or style your hair though. read more

I want to grow my hair out, but wanted a cut to help with the bulkiness of my old cut. Told the staff member that and pointed out the "bulky" areas and she says, "yes, that's unfortunate." And goes on to explain how she can't help me because they tell clients nothing can be done, you just have to grow it out. I said, well, it's been 12 weeks since I had it cut and and she picks up a hank of my hair and says, "I don't see any dead ends. So I really can't help unless you want me to trim up the back (!!??)." Came into this location warmly greeted and excited to receive a hair cut. However, minutes in my hair stylist saw what she believed to be lice!! In full panic, I asked her to keep looking, as I was in complete shock and disbelief wondering how this could be. I asked her to pull the strand out and show me. (I've had lice before and know what it feels like) hence the need to see. It was something I've seen before. It was dry sebum, with remnants of dandruff. Still not wanting to cause an emotional scene, I left uncomfortably. I came home and had my sister, and mother both check my head to confirm that these small white beads were not lice, but in fact dandruff and sebum on my hair strands. Most licensed cosmetologists should be able to distinguish the difference between lice, sebum, dandruff, psoriasis, eczema, etc. I called back, but they told me they would not cut it until the issue was solved, regardless what it may be... These individuals, should be trained and educated on what to look for and notify a customer. There is also a way to treat someone when discussing something this personal. I will never go back here. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. read more

I wasn't planning on getting a haircut and color today and happy I did. I was greeted by Kathrine who took on the challenge of fixing my patchy color and giving some much needed shape to my do. The ladies were friendly and the establishment was clean. There were a couple other clients that were helped while I was there and left satisfied. I received a good trim and great color, but the real problem here was at the register. I have had my hair colored at Supercuts for the past couple years after my stylist left her salon and started working at Supercuts. I recently moved and decided to give a new person / store a chance. This store is close to my home and I popped in to get my roots touched up and get a trim. I gave them the name and number of the color and developer that my former stylist used. The new stylist (Khanidha Colliver per the receipt) did an excellent job applying the color to my roots and was very friendly and nice to chat with. Ten minutes before it was time to wash she asked if I would like the rest of the color pulled through my hair. This is exactly what my former stylist did, so I said yes. She put the remaining color on my hair and I went back to watching TV. When the time was up she washed and conditioned my hair and gave the best scalp massage in the process. She did a good job on the hair trim. No complaints. Then it was time to check out and this is where the problems began. She asked the young girl with faded blue/purple hair for assistance in ringing up the order. Trim = no problem, the normal "Supercut". The color however became a problem. Khanidha told the girl that I had come in for my roots and the girl said "but didn't you apply color all over, you have to charge for all over color." Khanidha stated that although that was true, she didn't have to use/mix any additional coloring product. There was a little back and forth between the two and I was charged for all over color ($55). Then the girl reminded Khanidha to charge me for a color treatment. I asked what that was and was told it was for the shampoo & conditioner. It wasn't much ($5) but I have NEVER gone to any salon and been charged for this after a color. I knew they were over-charging me, but I really wanted to avoid conflict so I paid and left because I figured a few dollars really wasn't worth the hassle to me. This has bugged me for the past couple days. I called and asked about the pricing. I should have been charged $45 for the color and NOTHING for shampoo & conditioner. I was told that the $5 treatment is a separate treatment that they recommend to everyone who colors their hair. Well, I didn't even get that and no one asked or I would have. So basically this store has lost a customer over $15 because I won't do business with people I don't trust. Just be careful when you go here to make sure that they aren't up-charging you for services or products that you didn't request or receive. read more

I've been going to Super Cuts at this location for a trim for quite some time, and I really screwed up by going back last week. The moment I walked in, they started advertising their products all over the store. "Your hair looks really dry, what are you using?? Try our new tea tree conditioner!" Like ok no thanks... To make it worse, they did that the entire time I was getting a haircut. When I sat down, my hair wasn't even sprayed with water and my TRIM (how do you screw up a trim?!) turned out choppy and messy. My hair is so uneven now after I spent months growing it out. The people working here honestly look like they're straight out of a cosmetology school and you can tell they don't actually care when they rush through your trim only focusing on selling you products. If they mess up a trim, why would anybody come here for a color?? I was thinking about getting a single process color when I came, and my 'hairstylist' told me it would be $80!! At super cuts for a horrible job, really? No thanks. What a joke. You can't trust these people with your hair, and luckily I learned this- you get what you pay for. Next time I'm letting someone touch my hair I'm going to a salon with highly trained people who aren't a part of a chain salon that let just anybody cut hair- spend the extra money and don't waste your time here. read more
