I recently am in the middle of switching to a different service provider for my wax.... Don't give me wrong. I think Hello Sugar has really good pricing but recently I haven't been feeling like they care for me or even the people they hire... I was with one aesthetician for a year or so and we got really close and I just love coming to your ass because I meant updating her all my life choices and just having a friend to talk to and she had to up and leave which really sucked and it made finding a new station at that location super hard and ultimately I just never recovered from her leaving which sucks cause I like Hello Sugar and I liked how convenient it was. But I'd be lying if I said I'm not happy with the outcome because I ended up finding someone so much better and so much closer to home with great care and it's her own personal business so it's not like she's gonna be leaving me anytime soon.

I cannot say enough good things about Liza, her spa, or the services she offers…read more The space itself is clean (a huge plus, especially in the era of covid), aesthetically pleasing (if I'm at a "spa," I want to feel that vibe - & this place delivers), & super inviting on all fronts. And Liza herself is just the cherry on top of it all - I felt very comfortable & supremely well taken care of in her hands. Her professionalism is commendable, & it is equally matched by her charismatic & welcoming energy. She's highly knowledgeable about all of the services that she offers, which was a plus for me (a new-ish person to the world of proper skin-care), & encouraged dialogue to help me feel that I was getting precisely what I need & want from my appointment. I did "The House Classic" & would highly recommend the same for anyone wanting to freshen up their quarantine skin. An hour slipped by in no time & I left feeling rejuvenated & a little more educated about what my skin needs & wants for long-term upkeep & care. If you're in need of a little (or a lot of) self care & are craving some overall good vibes, this is a great place to start.

Three weeks later, after following her recommendations religiously, my skin is nearly back to normal. If you need someone who will listen to your skin, I highly recommended visiting Liza.

i have to start by saying i had a very pleasant experience overall, and steph was kind and…read morereassuring. she was able to work well with my eye twitching from nervousness and light exposure, which i imagine can't be easy. but my time there is not why my review is so low, it's because how short-lived my lashes lasted. i've never had my lashes done before, so i did some research on my own about what to expect, so i was somewhat prepared on the longevity of my lashes and that they wouldn't last as long as someone who regularly gets their eyelashes extended... but i was really disappointed with how long they ACTUALLY lasted, which was maybe 5 days. i had them from april 30th (when i got them done), to may 5th. by then i had maybe 3 extensions left on each eye and i ended up just removing the rest on my own because there were basically none.. i don't understand what i did wrong to cause my lashes to come out so prematurely as i still have all my natural lashes. i slept on a silk pillow, changed my sleeping position to my back, wore no makeup, brushed them once in the morning and once at night, and used no oil products. by the end of day 5 i looked so silly with like 3 extensions on each eye that i just had to remove them myself. the experience itself was pleasant and i enjoyed them up until day 3, but overall i'm just extremely disappointed that i spent over $150 for something that didn't even last a week, whereas i paid less than $80 for my nails and they last 1-2 months. i can't say that i will be trying extensions again anytime soon... :*(
