Avoid. I asked Latish to cut 7-8in so I could donate it. She cut almost 14in. I was as gracious as I could be. After all, it's going to a good cause. She sent a satisaction survey. I was honest. She texted me, not to apologize, but to double down and assert that she stayed within the length we agreed on. She tried to chalk it up to a "miscommunication." I sent a picture with a tape measure. No apology. Ghosted. Total lack of accountability. If she hadn't doubled down, I wouldn't be leaving this review. She could have just not contacted me again. In retrospect, I should have bailed before even arriving, and definitely before allowing her scissors near me. That's what I get for ignoring red flags. My appt was at 5p. I got a text at 4:45 asking if I could come at 5:15. Before I even had a chance to reply, I got a notification saying my appt had been moved. I should have canceled at that point. I wasn't served until 5:30. No apology for the extended wait. Again, I never should have taken a seat. If you try this place, bring a tape measure and toss your watch. read more

Very expensive salon. They announce in their website $60 and up, for a haircut. At the time to pay, they charged me $125 dollars for a simple haircut in short hair. They should announce what they are charging to allow the costumer decide from other places that offer fair prices and honor their word. I will not return to this place. read more

This wasn't recent but after a convo about my experience here I remember how bad my Brazilian blowout was done here. I paid over $200 for it to be just as Frizzy. I was told by the owner that she knows how to properly do them and is certified -so I gave it some time and honestly it was the worst Brazilian blowout I have ever had to pay for. Don't believe these certifications and go to someone you trust or have seen their work. read more

I called looking for help for my foster daughter's curly hair. And some education for myself on how to care for it properly. Latish got us in quickly and was so nice and professional, the salon was clean and she talked me through all the steps. 11/6 I left my original review below to show my first impressions, however after having 3 hair cuts for 3 weeks in a row to fix my hair, my opinion has changed. My first cut was already shorter than planned however I was fine with the length because it had been a long time since I received a cut. I asked for a good trim to get rid of the blonde and not as healthy tips, and for her to add long layers. After I washed it and straightened my hair the next day, I found that my ends were thick and my hair was uneven with layers only in part of the back. I reached out to Latish and scheduled an appointment the following week to correct my hair, basically I just needed to add layers and have it evened out. Instead, she cut off another 2 inches, thinned out my hair after I specifically asked for more layers and to NOT thin out my hair. She cut hairs that were against my scalp to thin it out instead of focusing on the bottoms and did not add good layering. My hair was still crooked. I ended up with shoulder length hair that had chunks missing out of it from all over, needless to say I cried. I had to schedule a third haircut and went to Cyndi at Cloud 9 and when I explained to her my experience and how much it cost ($130 for JUST a hair cut) she knew I was automatically knew speaking about Latish after I made it a point not to mention her name because I didn't want to talk badly about her. Cyndi layered my hair correctly and was absolutely shocked at how much of my hair was uneven, chunky, and ultimately how much Latish cut off. I have pictures of my hair before, both crooked cuts, and my final outcome. $130 for a simple hair cut is steep in itself, for any other salon you can get a cut for over half the price and it will be much better quality. In the end, Latish knew my haircut was bad and she even sent me a refund for $65 a few days after my final cut with her, which I did not ask for; she reached out to me asking for my Venmo and sent me the partial refund on her own. I have all messages and receipts of all this as well. DO NOT go see her if you have curly hair and want to keep it long. She ruined my hair and I can't even put it in a pony tail anymore. Latish does not care, her response to me as I was leaving the salon was, "I like your hair better short anyways." I never wanted short hair and I told her specifically I wanted to be able to pull my hair back into a pony tail and bun. I'm extremely upset with the 8 inches of hair I was forced to cut off when I was supposed to have a healthy trim and for $130 (not including the $32 tip I left), I would suggest going to Super Cuts before ever trying this salon. Actually just go to Cloud 9 Salons and see Cyndi like I should have originally. She'll cut your hair correctly and for over half the price. ---------------------------------- 10/20 If you haven't seen Latish for your hair needs, I highly suggest checking out her Salon MiracleJoy Salon in Highland Village! After some awful experiences with other hair salons in Flower Mound, I waited over a year to let anyone touch my curls and once Covid happened I pushed my hair cut even more. I saw a live video Latish posted in this group about how to take care of your curls and decided to check her out. Not only did she give my hair a beautiful shape and style, but she helped me understand why my hair was acting the way it was and what I could do to truly take care of my curls in between cuts. She also checked my temperature and hers and asked health questions to make sure she is being as safe as possible to prevent the spread of Covid as much as she can and she sanitized everything through the entire process. Great service! My Brazillain blowout was well done and thoroughly explained. I would highly recommend this salon.

I bought a Groupon for a protein treatment with Latish and she was fantastic. She took the time to give me a complete hair consultation. I wanted to do highlights, which would have been an additional service on top of the Groupon. She diligently preformed a hair strand test to make sure my very dark hair would not react weird to the treatment. She then recommended I wait a few weeks and moisturize my hair in the mean time. She could have easily done the treatment and collected the extra money but she values her clients and her reputation. She know's all kinds of hair, especially mixed and ethnic hair. It is hard to come by someone in this area that can deal with my crazy curls! She uses top of the line hair products on her clients hair! She doesn't skimp! Oh and my mother also goes to her and loves her! I have already booked my highlights with her after taking her advice! She recently moved to Cloud 9 Salon which is a great facility but hard to find. It is hidden behind O'Reilly. GPS tells you arrived and all you see is O'Reilly. You have to turn after O'Reilly and drive behind. read more
