Why have appointments if you don't abide by them? Appointments should have priority. I respect your time by showing up on time, as should you. Plenty of other barbershops in town that will happily take my money. Also, rude receptionist. read more

If you value your hair and confidence, DO NOT EVER let the guy in there cut your hair. He wacked at my 9 year old daughters hair like it was grass, then when she got upset, he slammed his scissors down on the counter, said "I don't deal with crying", and proceeded to walk out of the store. His behavior was abusive, disrespectful, and profoundly unprofessional. My daughter is traumatized. Renee cleaned up her cut, regardless, I expect to see this guy fired. Period. He is clearly mentally unstable. Do not go to this location. SUPER SHITTY EXPERIENCE!! I give no stars. The guy in the photo is the one to avoid. There is definitely something wrong with him. read more

Stopped in for the first time in 2 years to get cleaned up before the holidays without an appointment. Showed up an hour before closing and they were able to get me in really quickly. Lark was who they gave me and she amazing. Not only friendly and fun to chat with but I love my haircut. Will definitely come back. read more

I agree with what the last two reviews said about the guy with the beard. All I wanted was a simple trim and he did it kind of free style like you would a bowl hair cut. I pointed out to him all the strands that were left longer and he kept going back to fix it (isn't that your job to double check not mine?). When I got home there were more random strands longer than the cut line that I had to trim myself. It's usually a good feeling after a haircut and this haircut left me sad. It was a horrible experience and I'll never go back there again. read more

I got my haircut. Just now. I asked her to do a gentle diagonal Towing, and she made it there and there I've never going back. I'd rather smaller business. read more

I've gotten my hair cut here a few times now. Everyone is nice, weekends are the busiest it seems. It's $30 for a haircut which I guess is ok, last time I went I got a trim, maybe an inch and a half off. Price was kinda high I felt cause it took less then ten mins and there wasn't a lot of hair to sweep up. But Humboldt is a small town and there aren't a lot of options so ya get what ya get lol. read more

I needed a haircut pretty bad, I cut my own hair for fun and haven't gotten one for at least a few months. I have 2C hair type so just showing up and asking for help with my hair is asking quite a bit. Lark thankfully was there and really helpful and talented. She worked a miracle and dealt with my hungry hair. I appreciate you Lark sorry I was an entire handful! read more

I asked for 1/2" off and got 2" cut. if that was it it would be whatever but they cut my hair crooked one side is an inch shorter than the other. It looks terrible read more

Had a wonderful experience at Super Cuts went as a walk in signed in and was called immediately. My haircut was easy just a trim and the lady that cut it was super friendly and did just what I wanted. The price was $30 I left a $10 tip and was on my way in 20 minutes I will definitely be back! read more

You can find this place near the food court in the Bayshore Mall. They take and honor same day appointments. I called and made an appointment for 4 pm the same day for my son. Arrived a few minutes early and there was a big line. I walked to the front to let them know we were there, and she got him in immediately. She took her time and did a fabulous job. I have been hoping a Supercuts would show up in Humboldt County. I only wish it was in a different location. But now that I know where it is in the mall it's a little easier to deal with. read more

Got my hair cut a month or so again, and haven't built the confidence to post my review until now. My hair dresser was new to the area and seemed pretty disappointed with her job. This was apparent when she referred to my dead ends as disgusting then continued to scold me for not finishing my showers qith cold water or getting frequent enough hair cuts. Never going here again. read more

My dad disliked the haircut they gave me so I disliked it. Also the line wasn't that long and the haircut was really fast too.

The price for a simple haircut at $27 was definitely right for me, a retired (unemployed) senior. After a couple combs, the cutter as if we could wash my hair, as my use of a chlorinated swimming pool had made it stiff. I agreed and in after a minute of cream rinse application we were back at my chair. A few cuts were made and she asked if she could comb it to see if the cut was good for me or if I would like more length taken off. I said "Sure, you are the professional, so I'll defer to your suggestion." The whole shampoo, cut, and comb took about five minutes and was not exceptional but I was content with it. When we got to the payment, it was $57! I was shocked to be paying the equivalent of two haircuts! She informed me that next time I did not have to do the shampoo and 'styling', and then it would cost $27 as advertised. Never was I told that there was a cost for a shampoo and a combIng the hair after the cut! What a dirty trick! Buyer beware! read more

The best service and friendly staff! Stopped in for two haircuts and didn't have to wait. The business was clean and the staff was professional. Ashley cut my hair and she was amazing. I would highly recommend her and this place of business. read more

Went when only taking walk ins. The wait was less than the estimated from check in, but I feel like I was rushed through. I believe the stylist was better than the cut she did for me read more

Love this place easy to get to and the staff is very friendly both over the phone and in person. I called right after they opened Saturday, September 25, 2021 for two appointment that afternoon one for me female and one for hubby male. They listened when I explained my severe anxiety and scheduled us together and were very professional with us and kept things lite and chatting not to mention quick. The price for both cuts were reasonable and done very well. read more

My hair is coming in so grey dammit - I went to this place to see what I can get done within reason , I'm spending $18 on eggs I don't have money for hair ! Well I went to the sweetest stylist named Lindy she was so fun and bubbly to talk too :) and she worked some blonde Magic highlights and lowlights! Definitely recommend Lindy ! read more

TASHONA MOON nor anyone in this store know how to cut curly hair and would rather lie to you, completely ruin your hair and confidence, and lastly refuse a refund despite us asking respectfully. The employees are rude and cannot take accountability for their mistakes and also like to roll up their sleeves and get in your face when confronted with the truth. this place is hostile and the haircut yall gave me was borderline racist . Learn to take accountability! read more

The staff is always friendly, the shop is very clean and everyone is always working hard! Never had a bad cut or seen a bad cut leave the place when I'm there. Also, they take walk- ins (no appointment needed) which is SUPER AWESOME because most local shops can't take you same day. Highly recommend!! read more

I had an amazing haircut done by the stylist with green hair. I can't remember her name, but she gave me exactly what I needed to feel confident in my style. I asked for a razor cut with shorter bangs. I can't stop touching my hair. ASK FOR THE GREEN HAIRED STYLIST. I'll be coming back for another experience. read more

I have had the worst luck finding a hairdresser that is consistent AND has availability. I went to the mall to Christmas shop and ended up in Supercuts! Ciera is amazing! She gave me exactly what I wanted and she was an absolute DOLL! I will definitely be back to see her. 10/10 would recommend. There were two other ladies working as well and I watched them both give some sharp looking mens cuts. read more

I just had the worst experience here. If you have curls of any kind BEWARE. If you have pin straight hair, good luck. I went in and let my stylist know what I wanted. She looked at the manager at the next chair and repeated what I said with a puzzled look on her face. The manger said I'd "Look like orphan Annie with that cut!" And the man she was styling laughed. She said to just let my stylist "Do her thing, you're in good hands." My stylist Lynne(?) reassured me she's She's been doing hair since '94 and knows what to do. Apparently the MANAGER thinks ALL curly hair is the same and the stylists experience trumps any knowledge of the hair you've had your whole life. I was so embarrassed, felt condescended and just wanted to cry. I should have got up and walked out. I got the cut then went home and showered and styled it like I usually would. It looks like an oversized raccoon hat with the tail hanging down in the back. I feel so stupid for paying $40 for someone to butcher my hair. My own fault I guess, I mean I told her what I wanted and she told me what she was going to do. Shouldn't have gone to the fast food of haircuts and expect actual quality. Don't say you weren't warned! read more

A woman named Sara cut my hair I asked for a skin fade she couldn't fade. She couldn't blend the line away. Simple. I saw a guy right next to me get the exact same haircut no problem. Saras playing games. Fire her. The rest of the girls are good. I ended up leaving bald. At least they didn't charge me read more
