I should have heeded the warnings in the reviews and gone to a salon. Desperate for a straight trim (1/4"-1/2") I booked an appointment. I wasn't kept waiting, which those who show up without an appointment seem to complain about, and it wasn't crowded, since I went on a Monday. BUT I made it clear I wanted a trim and 3++" of my hair was butchered off and it's not even straight. It is hands down the worst hair cut I've ever received. In the past, even when I made an appointment online and showed up on time, they would still make me wait 20-30 minutes while they finished with the people in front of me. Today, I showed up a few minutes late to my appointment, thinking that wouldn't be a big deal as I would have to wait anyways, and was straight up refused service because I was late. I offered to wait until they were done with the prior person, but they still refused in a very rude way, and kept repeating that I was late and they couldn't do it. We made an appointment online today, which was super easy on the website My mom is legally blind and 86 years old we came in with a wheelchair and some other things and I can't express how accommodating understanding, professional and talented Leona was! Utterly amazing stylist got my mom's style immediately and perfectly and treated my disabled mom, so incredibly professionally, but more so lovingly. Ever since my mom discovered Supercuts and, more specifically, Dong, we've been loyal clients for my haircuts. Initially, she used to go to a specialized hairstylist, but after a recommendation from a friend who followed Dong from another specialty hair spot, she found that Dong was exceptional. While Dong is incredibly skilled, one major downside is that they are always behind schedule. For instance, my appointment today was at 1 PM, but I wasn't seen until 1:30 PM. It almost feels pointless to book an appointment because they always seem to overbook. There's a small couch area where you often see at least four or five people waiting, which shows how busy they are. Despite this, I've been going once a month for the last two years, and it's consistently busy at all times of the day. From a young age, I learned the value of trusting professionals who know their craft. Dong exemplifies this. When I visit, I usually tell him that I want to maintain my hair length but rely on his expertise for the details. Dong always checks in with me, especially when cutting layers and framing my face, ensuring I'm happy with the look. He uses high-quality products that leave my hair smelling wonderful and looking great. Although they are always running behind, Dong is very efficient once you're in the chair. For example, despite my boyfriend's concern about our tight schedule, Dong only took about nine minutes to cut my relatively long hair (which reaches my ribcage) and add layers. They charge $33 for a haircut, plus a tip, which I find reasonable given the quality. The salon itself is clean, and the staff are responsive when answering the phone. Being located in the town center, parking is ample, adding to the convenience. I would definitely recommend this place for a haircut. The main issue, however, is the waiting time, which I tolerate due to Dong's exceptional skill. In terms of rating, I'm torn between four and five stars. The wait times are a significant drawback, which I consider a sign of poor customer service. I had a really disappointing experience here. During my haircut, I voiced my concerns multiple times, but they were completely disregarded. I was very clear about wanting to keep my length, and for the first 26 minutes of this 30-minute cut, things were fine--I even mentioned I was happy with it. But out of nowhere, she decided to cut a significant amount off the back, which I had specifically asked her not to touch. When I asked why she did it, her response was, "I thought it was messy." That's not a reason to ignore a client's explicit instructions. A haircut should be a collaborative process, not an exercise in the stylist doing whatever they think looks best without considering what the client actually wants. I'm leaving this review because it's frustrating to feel dismissed when you're trying to advocate for yourself, especially when it's about something as personal as your appearance. I should have read the other reviews before going. I had the first appointment of the day, but when I arrived there was someone in the chair. Nobody acknowledged my existence and fifteen minutes later, the "stylist" let her friend cut in front of me. Thirty minutes after my appointment time, I had the misfortune of getting one of the worst FIVE MINUTE haircuts of my life. After the stylist ran my credit card, she followed me out the door and told me that the credit card machine didn't "properly capture" the sale (even though it said, "approved" and I should do it again. I still think this salon is a cut above the rest (pun intended!). I visit Supercuts once a month to shave my scalp. I've tried to shave my own head at home, but with limited success (it ain't as easy you might think!). More often than not, I wind up missing pretty noticeable hairy patches on the back of my head. So rather than walk around with an unintentional mohawk, I pay $23 (plus tip) at Supercuts and they get the job done in 10 minutes. The barbers are always friendly and efficient. Reservations are recommended at this location, but I usually just walk-in when I'm in the area, and I don't wait more than 10-15 minutes. My favorite part - they massage your scalp with a warm towel at the end of the hair-cut. Feels so good and rejuvenating for my bald head. If you're follicly challenged like me and don't need to spend $100+ for a fancy shear job, then I'd recommend paying a visit to this Supercuts. They'll take good care of you. read more

All the 1 Star Reviews are correct. I have come here many times before, but lately I don't know why I bother. This is the fourth time I have shown up for a haircut at 5pm (or earlier) and they have turned me away, they close at 8pm. They tell me there is no time in the next three hours to fit me into the schedule. If you check in online, they make you wait why stylists are available. You sit there while they chat and then one of the stylist decides they are going to leave. No you have to wait longer. They do not seem to care about your business. They lack the want to treat you as a guest if their establishment and worry more about leaving for the day. Supercuts is a good company, just not this store. Terrible and very scary moment. I booked an appointment for my little brother ( he speak French ) I had to translate for him. First, not even a Hello but just asking us if we have an appointment. We did. My brother sit in the chair, first I ask her if I can explain to her what my brother would like ( I asked her because she seems very annoyed or unhappy with us I'm Not sure why ) he wanted a simple hair cut , short around his head, and longer on the top. She was screaming at me , telling me that he wants skin , I was calm, answered that no he does not want skin just shorter. I even showed her a picture. She was screaming at me, very close to my face that it was skin or nothing. I was so shock that I didn't know what to say anymore , and after 5 minutes she asked us to go home in a very rude way. I asked if she has an issue with us because my brother and I were completely shock, we were very polite and nice. I finally I stand up for myself and told her that she was rude , and she screamed : go home ! I almost felt like we were attacked and I have no idea why. Don't bother with calling ahead or checking in with the app, it doesn't make any difference, you will have to wait just as long as anyone who walks in off the street. 2 hours before I checked in for 3 pm online and even someone who walked in at 3:20 got called up first. We ended up leaving. Also while we were waiting one of the staff was having a gruesome conversation with their client about someone committing suicide. It was the station closest to the waiting area, so nowhere to go and I had to cover my sons ears. I've been going to various Supercuts for much of my adult life and while it has always been a mixed bag, it has never been as poor an experience as this time. read more

I have been coming to this Supercuts for 15 years and the service has gone from good to mediocre to now awful. There's been consistent staff turnover - the staff morale and customer service has deteriorated to a new low, prompting this negative review. The haircuts are fine, but the wait process and customer service is chaotic, inconsistent,and unprofessional. Don't even bother with using the Supercuts app to put your name on the list or to estimate roughly the wait. Don't count on any in-person time estimate to be genuine or remotely accurate. Don't count on giving your name to hold your place on the list, to give you credit for waiting or even to get your name right. Don't count on any acknowledgement of these reasonable customer expectations or Supercuts short-commings, much less a sincere apology or offer to look into the problems. read more

She cares about how her customers look when they leave her salon and also she makes sure that her customers are happy and satisfied. Leona is a top rated hairstylist and manager and she deserves a lot of respect from everyone. My husband goes here and gets a great haircut by Don. I decided i would give it a try. My hair is straight and cut in a bob style. NOT easy to cut. Don did a great job. I had a reservation. He is very fast. Sometimes they run behind but they are always friendly if you ask "how long". I am not sure how he does such a great haircut in 15 minutes but the price is well left than half the time, and they fill up their schedule, so if you want a GREAT fast haircut, go here! I'm really not sure what everyone is complaining about. I am sooo happy to be able to get a good haircut for $20-$27. It's pretty much a requirement to set up a haircut at this shitty discount salon. There are 6 hair cutting stations and ONE person working. What the actual fuck? Always been this way and continues to be this way. Crap ass management. Guarantee this place will be gone within a year. $24 buck for a haircut too. Pricey. I took my 8 year old boy their this past Sunday. He's biracial with curly hair. When we walked in neither of the two employees working the front acknowledged us. A third came around and touched his hair and said he couldn't help with cutting his hair. That it was tangled and they didn't have the 'right equipment'. Nothing more needed to cut his hair than scissors. We left and went to the Panda Room instead. Panda Room was so warm, and friendly and cut his hair in about 20 minutes. I normally wouldn't have written a review because this sometimes is too common of an everyday experience as a POC. But because everything I've shared were his reflections on his experience I had to. I really like some of the people who cut hair here and think they are nice and generally do a good job. Unfortunately, they overbook guests and give out inaccurate wait times, leading to frustrated customers and lost business. I've had to wait up to an hour over the time they gave me both when I've called and been told to come at a specific time and when I've come in and received a time in person. I imagine it's difficult to judge who will and won't show up, how many customers will ask for more complicated haircuts, and if difficult customers or young kids (who don't always like getting haircuts) take longer. However, they are generally understaffed, do not have a computerized reservation system, and have no cancellation charge, leading to guesswork about how many people who call in will actually show. If I were a psychologist, this place would be a goldmine of new patients. I have witnessed customers treating the staff with overwhelming rudeness and anger. However, I have also witnessed the staff treating customers with the same. Therefore, until they fix the problems they have, if you have staggering anger management and entitlement issues, I would avoid this place. If you have a little bit of time and don't have to be anywhere, they usually get to you within 15 minutes, but it's a gamble. Management: please address these issues. Your location is very convenient and you have good pricing, but this is outrageous. read more

Ryan still does right by me! I will say that they lost a few stylists recently and haven't replaced them. I never use on line bookings for personal appointments like hair or massage ... Open Table for restaurant reservations are the ONLY reliable systems. I have never had a bad experience with Ryan so I don't go to anyone else. I show up first thing in the morning and wait for him. I wash my own hair at home and just ask for a cut or trim. He told me honestly he couldn't do my color until they replaced the absent staff and that was fine. There is a district manager for this shop and if you have an issue find them and complain to them. And to the person who wrote the review saying they don't speak ENGLISH ...you are a bloody racist. Today was our first time visiting. I made 2 appointments. 11 AM and 11:05 AM. We walked through the doors at 10:55 and I made eye contact with the blonde stylist who had a chair closest to the register. I smiled and said hello. He just looked at me up and down and continued cutting hair. It was quite a turn off. Worse than that was watching SEVEN people enter and skip right by us to the chairs after we waited for over 45 minutes. I finally put my foot down and said, hey, we were here well before these people and we actually booked appointments. Again another brush off from the blonde stylist. A person walking into the shop who saw the whole thing told us that we needed to choose a specific stylist when ordering online. If that was so then why would the site give us an option to choose the earliest available stylist??? How were we to know? This is crazy. Never returning and why would I want to be in a chair of somebody, who thinks he is high above us, who treats us so disrespectfully? No way. They have lost our business forever! read more
