I generally get a haircut every 4-5 weeks, and this Supercuts location is convenient to where I live. I've probably had everyone as a barber here and they always do a good job. The past couple of haircuts I had Anna, and she is fantastic. Most recently, I was getting ready to attend a wedding and she made sure I looked good for it! I randomly walked in without a reservation and serendipitously matched up with Bahar as my hair stylist. I had been wanting to have my hair cut short (removing 10-12") for several months but never got around to it. My hair easily bounces between straight (if I brush it), wavy (if I wet it) and curly (if I scrunch it) so finding a stylist who knows how to manage my hair better than I do and cut it the correct way is a challenge. Bahar was friendly, asked lots of questions, was gentle on my hair and gave me the first dry cut I had ever had in my life!! The result? My waves and curls didn't go into shock and my hair feels gorgeous - I live in San Jose and will definitely be making the drive up to see Bahar to have regular haircuts. read more

Since my husband's last visit, I have not returned until today. I did a call in and was seen with Tong. Never in my years of supercut guest experience where I had someone take their time on precision. I really appreciate that about receiving a service. I understand that there were 4 people waiting but as a guest I never want my stylist to rush out Jen they are working on me. The other lady who greeted me was kind however I noticed how fast she was with her guest. I am the type to not want to talk during a service and Tong was quiet, focusing on his work and that's another thing I appreciate. Thank Tong for turning my thoughts around for this location. Reserved my spot Online for 5pm, Ended up coming in five minutes early. Kelly just accepted a boy & Cut his hair for 15 minutes. Finally got seated at 5:20p, What was the point of reserving online? When I wouldn't even be seen as a priority versus someone who walked in. I think she should've checked Who had an appointment. Anyway, Went in for a simple trim off my layers and just a little bit off the total length. She sprayed my hair down with water and cut. At the end she used a shear for my layers. She took off way too much off my left side. Overall my layers in the back were so choppy. Never coming back to this hairstylist - Kelly. Thankfully I got it corrected at a different Supercuts location in Roseville, She did a great job listening/sympathizing and adjusting step by step until I was happy. She is super-super friendly, knowledgeable and does amazing work. I had planned to wash up prior to going back to work....I didn't need to. This is the cheepest place yet it the only place that can give me an amazing cut. Staffing has changed through the years, one thing that always remains is consistency. Working with the public especially dealing with something as sensitive as someone's hair can be interesting at times. I can say through personal observation and personal experience that the stylists are professional, courteous and care about the service that they provide. We came in here recently to have my daughter's hair cut and prepared for hair donation. This is not her first time growing out her hair for Wigs for Kids, and most other places we've been to section out her hair into multiple ponytails (her hair is extremely thick) and making nice, neat cuts at even lengths. This location told us they don't do that, and made one single cut across her hair, causing the cut on the ponytail to veer up and not be a straight, flat cut. They were able to layer clean up the hair she had left, but truly disappointed at the service provided to assist with our hair donation. read more

Went in to just get my sides and back cut as i HAD an undercut, the lady asked if she could take a little off the top i agreed, then she proceeded to run the buzzers through my side and top of my hair. The end result ended up with me having uneven length in cut, my top of my hair WAS TO MY EARS and is now shorter then all hell and uneven. i left as quickly as i could but i will never be coming back here and i recommend you look somewhere else, im going home to probably buzz my hair off since this is unfixable and no longer my original cut read more

I am from Miami where they give very trendy hair cuts. When I moved to Sacramento I went from place to place looking for anyone who could give me a great haircut. Well after going around getting disappointed, I found Emily. I don't like recommending people but I have to brag about her. I just walked into Super Cuts thinking I was going to get just another mediocre haircut. I sat in the chair and just for extra added security I cut out a picture of just what I wanted and showed her. She was so sweet and accommodating, I felt like she had so much patience listening to just what I wanted. She is extremely well at listening to what you are looking for while at the same time giving you the best professional advise to help guide you through the technical process. After sitting in the chair and watching her cut my hair with such confidence, it put mind at ease right away. The worst feeling is getting white knuckles while having your hair cut. I'm sure everyone has experienced that. She also is very engaging and warm when cutting your hair never making me feel uncomfortable. Before I knew it my cut was complete. It was hands down the best cut I have ever had and needless to say I am a huge fan of hers. I am probably a bit of a pain and very picky but I know what I want. She has been able to make me happy with a perfect cut every time. I cut my hair pompadour style which requires a lot of skill. After awhile I was able to convince my wife to see Emily. She has gotten her hair cut, colored and styled by Emily now several times and for a lot less than she used to pay. She is very happy so we are both big fans now. I dont normally go here for color but i figutrd id give it a go...i had an appointment with Ashley i showed her a picture of what i wanted . she proceeds to do my highlights. After she was done it looked nothing like the picture it was very orange...she told me it would take a few application to get it as blonde as i wanted which Made since. I've been going to this place for 2 years, each time I've had a different stylist and I've always left happy with my haircut, except for this last time. The stylist I got this time was KELLY. I asked for her to trim off my dead ends, keeping as much length as possible. We were talking the whole time so it wasn't until I was signing my receipt that I remembered that I needed my face framed. I asked if it was too late and she told me no. Obviously Kelly was mad that I expected an extra 2 mins for my $30 haircut because she then took scissors to my hair like a toddler. She took chunks out of my hair. The chops she made didn't make sense. My hair was uneven and not blended at all, when I say it looked like a toddler took scissors to my hair I'm being serious. She fucked my hair up so bad that when I came in to get it fixed TWO different stylist had to examine my hair to try to find a solution. It was so bad that all they could do was cut off my length to blend with the random chunks she made. I left with my length gone and still with random chunks of hair in my face. Kelly is the reason I'm hesitate to come back. I'm thankful for the stylist that fixed that bad hair cut. You should cut the bad apple from your tree before she rots the entire tree. read more

Today I went to go get my hair trimmed. There were 2 hair stylist one was coloring and the other was doing haircuts. I had 2 clients before me as my mom and I sat there the two clients got their haircut paid and went on their merry way. Then a random lady that was standing there got called to get her haircut before I did. When I walked up to the waitlist to scratch my name off because it had been over an hour. I noticed my name had been crossed off and that lady was written on there for a noon appointment. So either the hairstylist cross my name off or the lady that found in for an appointment time scratched my name off but either way the overall experience was not very professional. The woman who walked in should have been called after I was finished because it is still 4 minutes till noon. Who knows if I ever would have been called since somebody scratched my name off that list. Sadly the holiday season is the worst season to see people's true colors. Oh and needless to say I will be going elsewhere to get my hair trimmed and hopefully they have more professional people working that have situational awareness to help people in order not just go off a list look around and see the people that have been sitting there for an hour.!!! read more
