Long story short, the guy in the Bay highlighted my entire head in bleach, burned off pieces of my hair underneath (I have thick hair thank god), and after growing it out for so long, my hair was super uneven, thin at the bottom, and the bleach parts refused to ever curl. My hair looked crazy unless I styled it-- the new growth being curly and the old hair lying pin straight. I couldn't take it anymore. I found all the lovely reviews on Tanya and decided to give it a shot since I just moved to the Roseville area. Let me tell you, she did a FANTASTIC job! I haven't had short-ish hair for many, many years and was terrified to cut it. She took my face shape and structure into account and landed on a cut that would complement me, which it clearly does since everyone compliments my hair now and tells me how cute it looks. I made an appt online for a new client cut that came with a complementary hair mask. My appt was with Jade. She was fantastic! The place was clean and modern and the vibe was relaxed. I haven't been to a real hair salon in probably 10-15 years. Went to Great clips about 5 years ago for my last hair cut but I wanted to splurge and get a little pampering! Most things are charged by the hour and each stylist has a different rate based on their "level" I came with a pic of what I wanted and Jade delivered. Almost identical. And if my face was as thin and flawless as the AI version I brought in it would have been exactly the same lol. She also has these wonderfully long nails that feel amazing when she's washing your hair! She was conversational without being nosy or over talkative. As a mother of a special needs kiddo it was a much needed reprieve and she gave me the pampering I needed! Will definitely be back if I'm still in Roseville the next time I need a hair cut.

I got my hair cut a few months back and the experience was generally good, it was on a night where most of the workers seemed to be going out with each other and I was the last one booked for the night so my stylist didn't get to go (I know this because she asked me 15mins before my appointment if I could reschedule). Anyways, I asked for about 4in off, layers and a full dye. When we were finished the manager came to check her work bc I assume maybe she's newer (which is fine), but the lady had to redo all of my layers because they weren't done correctly. So we stayed much later probably until 9:30pm. Then when I got home I noticed that one side was way shorter than the other! I had to personally cut almost 2in off my left side of hair just to get it even. Now I know maybe she wanted to go out and felt rushed but it was not professional and I hope that if I go there again I get a better experience and that Amber pays more attention to detail to her future clients.
