Situated close to downtown Saint-hyacinthe, this is a little corner sushi restaurant.
I ordered their Maki Assortie 16 pieces. I was there quite early, no line up, they were just freshly starting preparing their sushi so I had to wait about 15 minutes. The sushi were hand rolled right in front of my eyes. I guess you can say that they just "rolled" out of the shop. The fishes were fresh too. All the employees were very friendly, gives recommendations, easy to talk to people.
The inside can use a bit of renovation, it's obvious to see that it's mostly for pick ups, take outs, or delivery. It's not really a sit down restaurant.
Now for me personally, it's very similar to sushi shop but just a bit more expensive. It didn't impress me but I guess any 'comptoir' sushi comes down to about the same: if you catch them on a freshly made batch, it's gonna taste the same. read more
