The service was really quick and friendly, there are many spelling mistakes in the menu (brocori tepmura anyone?) and sometimes things arrive at your table without you actually ordering it but really, aren't all these places kind of like this? Everything my friend and I ordered was really good and I wish I had more space to try more of their maki rolls. This is the first sushi restaurant I've been to that puts cheese on their sushi and I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's a bring your own wine place (good to know for next time :)) and I would also like to try their desserts (also next time). I will definitely be back to try more things on the menu, it's exciting to have an AYCE sushi place closer to me than Montreal so I will take advantage of it :)

The lighting is very dark/ blue which makes all your food look kind of pinkish, like the orange coloured sauce they put everywhere that we just called pink sauce the entire time. The waitress was really nice and the timing for the courses was spot on. The second we finished one plate the waitress would go find us another one. There are a ton of options to order your food such as the menu, table hôte or a paper with sushi rolls you mark off. Everything I had was delicious and different from the usual sushi we see everywhere. The " pink " sauce was a bit excessive at times with lots of waste left on the plate. I was very happy to discover the soya sauce that had been on the table the entire time to give a bit of variation to my sushi pieces. It was my friends birthday the day before and just when we thought it was over, the waitress came out singing happy birthday with a fried banana and ice cream dessert which was still burning hot from the fryer. I know it changed owners and it burned down recently so it's kind of a fresh new start. They like to use some decoration on their plates. Martini glasses for tartars and lots of gibberish in the plate to look nice and it kind of does. Bonus: My server was super cute! Overall I'd say it's standard sushi.
