I just can't take it anymore, today was the final straw for me. I don't understand why they don't keep this place clean. One night when I came to get my car washed, there was so much trash in of the parking spots that I couldn't even park there, I had to back out and find another spot. This is how it normally is for this place, it's saturated with all types of trash. But today I got a really nice surprise. After getting my car washed, I parked in one of the spaces and then walked around to the other side of my car. But then I noticed a nasty smell so I looked at the ground and there it was, a big pile of dog sh*t sitting there with a shoe print on it, and so I looked at the bottom of my shoe and realized I had just stepped in that giant pile of dog sh*t. I'm paying around 33 dollars a month to step in dog sh*t, are you kidding me??? So yes, the trash issue is a serious problem here. But also, vacuums are an issue as others have mentioned. If you are looking for a car wash with plenty of vacuums, do not buy a membership here. After getting your car washed, when you park into a space, the vacuums will either be: 1. Completely missing, 2. Lacking any suction at all. Or 3. You might actually get lucky and the vacuum will be there and it will be working, but that's rare. This place has a lot of potential, if they could fix these problems then I would honestly say that I'm getting my money's worth, but right now I just cannot say that. read more

Beware of this car wash chain. They will charge you for errors in their system and best part is they don't have a phone line or other way of immediately contacting them. After I did reach out, they blamed me for the up charge and refused to refund me even though I have screenshots that their own system was messed up. Also the vacuums are ALWAYS broken, not worth it. You're better off going to Soapy Joes or another local car wash. read more

I normally go to cobblestone because it's 1 mile from home in N. Scottsdale. Superstar is now my new fave, I really wish they had more location in nicer areas though. This location is en route from work to home. I won't go anywhere if they don't have nice microfiber towels, they had them and perfectly wet so you're not dry clothing your lol. Also, they have tire air- , only car wash with this, how convenient. Windex- wait what? Super helpful having it there because I don't know about you, but I don't carry window cleaner in my car.. so nice touch. They also change air fresheners to correlate with season which is cute. The actual wash itself was great. They have two selections of vacuums, mat holders, and compressed air. Literally more than everything needed and stellar customer service. I'm not like most chics, I actually love washing my Audi, I find it very relaxing so spend an hour doing so when I go. It's shaded so even in my pregnant state it's okay and doesn't get too hot. I'll be going out of my way to get to a superstar because they are that much better. Pricing model is for membership purchase very much so, single wash is over priced compared to monthly so buy the membership. First wash is free too if you want to try them out before signing up. They have like 10 locations, all kind of in sketch areas but for me it's fine since I can just stop by after work as they are open late til 8, which is also unique and sets them apart. My car was DAMAGED by the car wash. They denied my claim stating they determined there was prior damage when my car has NEVER had prior damage. I find this incredibly weird how someone who isn't the owner of my vehicle is making this claim. Also they have a ton of other similar complaints where they deny due to user error or drivers fault. They allowed me access to see all these claims being make against them including personal Information so beware they do not care!!!! read more

Car damage with disappointing and disrespectful lack of customer service My 2019 4Runner side view mirror was recently damaged at the McDowell location in Phoenix. The staff there was extraordinarily helpful and helped me fill out a customer service report. The associate, Mark, and I watched a video showing my car with an intact side view mirror before entering the wash, and found one of the two pieces missing from the mirror in the wash tunnel. A photo is attached. It was severely damaged. I received an email from "Claims@sscwaz.com" less than 24 hours stating: "After a thorough investigation, it has been determined by our Operational Leadership Team, this claim is Denied, although our wash is very safe, we are not responsible for any of the following damage to any vehicle." with a photo of a sign essentially, stating that they are not responsible for damage associated with their wash. However, the sign is not posted in front of this specific location photos. While I understand that loose parts or significant modifications on older cars that have received normal wear and tear may have an issue with an automatic car wash, the machines should not be powerful enough to tear off a part from my 2019 non-modified SUV. I responded that day asking for further explanation, and a request for possible compromise, and I never received a response. I was first off upset that my request for review was ignored, as well as my original concern. I sent a second email including addresses listed at the bottom of my incessant report. Again, I received no response from any of the recipients. The company website states: "Super Star Car Wash isn't just a place to get your car washed. It's where you go to leave your messes and stresses behind. From the start, we've been committed to providing super care for our customers, our communities, and our dream team." Declining my claim after damaging my vehicle, and then not even showing their customer the respect of responding to a message at all is not aligned with this company language. Furthermore, if this is standard practice for the company to automatically reject requests for compensation for damages vehicles so rapidly and with inaccurate photos of signs that are not present at their location, I have concerns that vehicle damage occurs so often that a process has already been developed to decline requests for discussion. If you care about your car and want to prevent damage, avoid this company, and get your car washed by a business that stands by their products by maintaining safe machinery, and shows respect to their customers. Truly embarrassing and disappointing company behavior. read more

People, the reviews left about this place overcharging your credit card and difficulties contacting this company to cancel your "membership plans" are indeed true. I came to this car wash on 2/26/22 and was talked into a special promotion they had running until the end of March (or March 26th based on my receipt). The special was to receive a carnauba wash for $5 . After March, i noticed that i was being charged for 17$.. then May-July $27.. I submitted a cancellation request on their website EACH MONTH. I have also attempted contacting them via phone and still get nowhere besides waiting on hold for almost an hour each time. This is not A MVD or DES, i don't understand why the hell their phone lines have extreme long holds . Besides the point, i reached out to the 'Owner' Jeannette , based on other reviews . I hate leaving reviews like this. However, something needs to change! How does a car wash close more than half of its bays at 4/4:15 on a Saturday afternoon when they close at 8?? On the week days, they are almost closed up by 5! I come to this location at least 3 times a week due to having a pass. But every time I show up to vacuum my truck out and wipe it down, the closing time gets moved up. There are people parked in the handicapped stalls, there's a line stretching in front of the tunnel, people yelling at each other to back up ALL because they refuse to open up more bays due to "getting ready for closing" at 4:15 pm! I like this location! A LOT! It's close to home and it helps me justify the $45 bucks I spend a month. BUT the customer service here needs to improve. Your employees are on their phones. They are always huddled together shooting the $!@?. And every time you ask them a question they seem annoyed! Please address this. Thank you! read more

Each of us is perfectly capable of using the drive-up kiosk to select the wash we want and put in the money. Yet they station a surly attendant out at the kiosk to do it all for you--after the attendant has made every effort to upsell the service. That is annoying beyond belief. Did not like my experience at this place. Maybe it's because I had to run my car though their machine twice because it came looking dirty after the first wash. The guy at the front was super nice about it and told me to take my car through their washing machine AGAIN. Once outside they felt bad and whipped out all the excess water. Love the unlimited car washes and towels to finish the drying process so I don't have water dripping from the mirrors after I leave. Never had a problem with them even when the system was updated to read license plates it cause a little delay but they were very apologetic to the situation. It's expected with new systems now we don't have a need for yet another sticker on the dash! read more

On 05/09/23 I decided to stop by the car wash in the afternoon to get the truck washed. Usually someone is standing at the pay station to help make your purchase but today there was no one. Someone was trying to pay and for some reason couldn't figure it out and a line began to form and a few people backed up and left. I drove around to the vacuums to find someone and all three employees were at the entrance talking and hanging out. The driver finally walked over to them to get help. After waiting about 15 minutes the line got moving. Once we all went through the wash I drove around to the vacuums. I pulled to an open spot and the towels were a mess and couldn't tell if they were clean or dirty and they were almost gone. I grabbed the air house to blow off the remaining water and the air hose was not working. I grabbed the vacuum and those were working either. Several people were checking the air hose and apparently none of them worked. I tried the tire pressure gauge and that was not working either. I've never had a problem there but it seems the quality is going down there. I get they are hiring but we're is the manager to see that things are in good working condition or at least advise people the air is not working. I feel it was a waste of money getting the truck washed if you couldn't use the things they supply. On top of that they try to get you to join the unlimited car washes but why would I pay for that if things aren't working. Maybe I'm over exaggerating but felt it had to be addressed. read more

Customer isn't right here: As my vehicle was coming out of the rinse, there was a guy just finishing power washing the drying blowers. Well, this caused dirty water to be dripping off the blowers, and as my vehicle went under the blowers, the bumper, hood, windshield, and roof became covered in a wet misted dust. I showed the attendant, and I asked if I could run my vehicle back through the wash. He refused. The attendant said It was because I had bought only the lite wash ($7). He proceeded to tell me that the more expensive washes do a better job. Also, he tried to recommend a monthly plan, so I could get better washes (they always try high pressure sales tactics to sign up for the monthly plan, BTW). I told the attendant, a few times, that I have gotten many lite washes, and they never looked as terrible. Yet, he still refused to let me run my vehicle through the wash again. He did help me wipe down my vehicle a little, but there was still a lot of dirty sprayed mist on my hood, windshield and roof. It was definitely 7 dollars wasted. read more

I believe this car wash opened this weekend. Just went here this morning and they were offering free express washes. Regularly priced at $7.00. Sunday is my wash day and I've just about had it with my regular car wash spot down the street. This place is awesome! The $7.00 is pretty dang good. Love the undercarriage wash and the extended drying section. I hardly had any water on my vehicle to wipe off. There's lots of spaces for vacuuming.. Which this place has both the regular vacuum nozzle AND a crevice nozzle!! Nice touch! Also they have the air hoses to make sure you can get water out of every nook and cranny. The air didn't come out of the end but out the sides. Note on the length of air hoses, need longer hoses for those of us with extended vehicles. They offer free wipes for the inside and free drying towels to use. I have my own Chemical Bros towels but the inside wipe came in handy! Only thing that would make this place perfect, having add on options for the express membership per wash. I.E.. Ability to add on a carnauba wax, wheel cleaner, etc for a few extra $. I like carnauba but not with every wash. I'll be back.. And possibly to sign up for a membership! read more

My favorite part about this spot is the friendly/hard working staff + the best vacuums in the valley. Also, love the fact I can add air for free in my tires after the wash. Lorenzo and Jamal run a tight ship and they really make all the difference for me. I respect the work ethic and focus on "customer first" approach these guys bring every day. I just need video coverage of of the incident for my insurance company so they can find the other driver who ran off. This was Sunday afternoon at around 230pm. The owner, Jeanette, said I requested not to be contacted which is a blatant lie. I did no such thing. Do you not have any help at all at your location, other than a teenager who can't even provide me that info? I see there are some mixed reviews on here... I've only used the one on McDowell and 50th st. I've been in several times now for this month and all I've gotten is great customer service their machines are always working every vacuum works towels are available... I have nothing but good things to say about it! In fact, the other day I was just bragging to somebody about them and saying that for a drive-through wash I buy the one with the hot wax and I didn't think it would make a difference. But I tell you what when I get out of there it looks like my car was hand waxed. read more

The second time guy working there seen me and another car pull up and puts his finger up as if he saying its going to be a minute and walks off and never came back.
