HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I came into the store because my iPhone 5 was water damaged, the store owner (Noori) told me my options as to what i can do and what my options are as far as trying to leave with a working phone. They told me to drop it off and they will call me between the next hour or two. Within the next 30 minutes I received a phone call telling me they were able to power my phone on! I went to pick up my phone it looked as good as new and they gave me a great price for everything as well. (2 weeks later) i went back in because I saw they sold iPhone 6, the employee (a smaller young man, possibly around 20-21 years old) sold me the phone for a great deal and they did a data transfer for me for free!!! I will never go back to this place. I gave them my iPhone 11 for screen repair, and they said it has been fixed. The minute I started one of the buttons doesn't work, it kept dropping calls and the screen went black 3-4 times a day. The same day I picked it up, I noticed these issues so I took it back. The guy said he would call me back, and when he did he made it sound I made up excuses and told me nothing is wrong with the phone. I kept it for a week, and these problems won't go away. I called them and dropped it of after a week, and it wasn't the guy that helped me then. They called me back and said the something was wrong with the screen they used. They said it will take 3-4 days to get the right screen, I told them I would take it somewhere else and and to refund my money. I went to the store to get refund and my phone, and they told me their credit card machine was not working. I told them they need to refund my money, and they were upset as if like their credit card machine wasn't working because of me. The guy gave me the receipt and said you can come back later and get your refund. Would they still fix my phone if my credit card wasn't working? Stay away from this place!!!!! read more

I was dreading an iPhone 5 recall repair for a bad battery. You may know the drill - sending the phone into a repair site or making an appointment at an Apple store; backing up then erasing all of my settings and data; then wait.... I'd driven by this business with the 'iPhone Repair' sign many times, and today I thought I would give it a try. Walked in, no appointment needed, and just a few minutes later I had a new battery - only $25. An excellent transaction, particularly compared to the inconvenience of the 'official' process. After I walked in without an appointment, they were able to diagnose the extent of the problem and get it fixed for a reasonable price in a half hour while I waited. buyer beware if you need to buy a phone go elsewhere... not only are prices too high they sell dingy phones that have issues... a shop like this purchases old broken phones for nothing and then slaps a new screen on them and try to charge an absurd price... i had purchased a phone cause i needed one and it had some issues, i brought it back and they tried to swap my phone out for a phone that looks like it was dragged on the asphalt, the fact that all sales are final makes the situation worse avoid this place there are better phone retailers out there read more

After having a poor experience with Rockit Repairs in Fredericksburg (3 separate occasions), I was desperate for a reliable and affordable price. Finally, I came across Doctor Smart Phone. The location is a bit tricky, if you're coming from south, you will have to take a U-turn getting off the highway and its hidden on the right hand side. Seems almost if it is a sketchy place but I walked in and everything was organized and clean. The two men took my iPhone 5S right away and began working (you can see them doing it). 20 minutes later, my phone was perfect again and they sold me a glass screen protecter for $10 (where as in Best Buy, they sell for about $40). We walked in with a phone that had a completely cracked screen. We were in and out in 10 minutes and walked out with a repaired phone that looked brand new. I'm so glad I found these guys. After my Galaxy S3 bit the dust, I wanted an exact replacement. I got a used phone there for $150. It had a weak battery so I took it back and they replaced it on the spot. Turns out the phone also had a faulty charging port so they replaced the phone entirely and transferred my data for me. I am thrilled with the way they honored my warranty. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. In the future I will buy new phones there, though. With used phones you just never know what issues they may have that don't show up in routine reconditioning but it was my choice to go that route and not a reflection on them. read more

In about 20-25 min the phone was done, they told me about their deal where i can get a temper glass screen protector and a case for only $20 dollars (no brainer there). When our daughter accidentally closed her Iphone 5C in the van sliding door, it was a real mess with an unviewable screen and glass pieces falling out. We checked 10 places and found quotes to replace the screen for anywhere from $160 to $90. Then we found this place that did the job in less than fifteen minutes for $60 (I think we used a $5 Yelp discount). The smart phone looked brand new and worked great afterwards. They also offer repairs on buttons and sound if those don't work, and battery replacement if necessary. I highly recommend them if you need to get your smart phone fixed. read more

I brought in my two iPads with cracked screens to repair and had such a depressing experience. In the most chaotic week of my life I had to go back to the store twice because the screens kept popping out. On one screen they re-adhered the very next day it cracked inside my otterbox for no reason at all. Both screens look awful. After you pay there are no refunds. Not even for shoddy work. They will not replace the glass, even if they do a terrible job putting it in. Two problems would have been solved had they just called me while they were fixing it. But instead they put a glass screen in one bent iPad case knowing it would pop back out and the other they didn't even bother to call and ask if I would pay more to replace the lining around the glass so it would adhere better. I left the store on the last visit with broken iPads, verbally threatened and $200 dollars poorer. read more

This was my third time in the store in the last four months. Previously, I had the staff replace the battery on two iPhone 4Ss one two separate occasions and both times the service was done quickly while I waited. To date, I have not experienced any problems with those phones. Most people only like to post rave reviews or terrible reviews. I'd like to give an account of this store when things do not go according to plan. My third time in was one of those times. Having experienced the attentiveness of the staff twice before, I recommended the business to my wife, who had recently cracked the screen on her brand new iPhone 6+S (despite it being in a case). My wife and I handed the phone off to Noori, who popped it open and noticed how the interior seemed different from other iPhone 6+ innards. He showed us the difference and then went to replace the screen. Not long after, he came back out with the phone reassembled and explained how he couldn't finish the repair. He admitted he overlooked that the phone was the newest 6+S and then recommended we head to an Apple store. On our way to the Apple store, my wife attempted a phone call and realized the earpiece was no longer working. She also noticed the phone was heating up rather quickly. We promptly turned around and saw Noori. He tried to troubleshoot the problem to no avail. He showed me how the screen connects to the phone and appeared dumbfounded. Having a bit of electronics knowledge myself, I, too was dumbfounded that simply unclipping a few wires could cause such a scenario. Eventually, the phone stopped turning on altogether. Since the phone was used for business, we could not leave it with Noori because it contained sensitive customer information. What happened next is what separates a one star rating from a four or a five star rating. Noori never once tried to blame my wife or myself for the problems the phone was now having. Because my wife was on-call, and because the phone was a business phone, she absolutely needed to have a way to be reached. Noori and I discussed the appropriate next steps. Once again, we reached the conclusion that taking the phone to the Apple store was the best course of action. In the meantime, Noori handed me a loaner iPhone 6+ (not the 6+S). He also told me to let him know if Apple wound up charging us for the repair or replacement. Ultimately, the iPhone was still under warranty so Apple did not charge us; however, I believe Noori would indeed have taken care of the cost had they done so. Within a few hours, Apple determined there was a problem with the phone's ability to regulate power; they also determined that the logic board was likely fried due to a defect. Apple then replaced the phone, which was, as previously mentioned, still under warranty. Of note, there was a lady waiting at the Apple store for a technician to replace her 6+S for the third time (apparently, her speaker went out on the first two phones). I should also disclose that the backup and restore failed on the first replacement 6+S the technician brought out for my wife. Eventually, the technician was able to get my wife back up and running on a second iPhone 6+S. Why am I giving five stars? Well, although Noori held himself accountable for whatever went wrong while he was initially in the phone, I truly do not believe he was at fault. Having seen for myself the connections Apple uses in there, I simply cannot fathom how unplugging the wires could've caused it. I saw that Noori turned off the phone and he appeared to wait for any residual charge to drain from the capacitors (like I said, I have experience working with circuits and electricity). This isn't to say I'm absolving the business from the blame, I'm merely stating that I believe the phone failing to work was caused by an unfortunate coincidence rather than incompetence. Noori has stood by the work of his business and staff for my first two visits and they jumped through hoops trying to make my less-than-optimal third visit better. With regard to other reviews on here, I'm a bit surprised to hear that the customer service was not up to par. Noori was calm and maintained his professionalism throughout my visit. From what I saw of the other employees, I cannot imagine anyone acting anything less than professional. Now, folks, I must emphasize this: I also maintained my professionalism--I didn't swear at him or the staff, nor did I resort to name-calling; I didn't go off the deep end blaming him. Very dissatisfied. Bought a screen replacement and was talked into buying a tempered glass protective cover. I was told that this would protect my screen from being damaged again. This was about 35 days ago. First thing I noticed was that I could not use the voice controls anymore. No Siri or talk to text but I figured I could live with that. Well the phone was dropped when I slipped on some ice and both the protective glass and the new screen were damaged. I went back today to show them and they say there is nothing they can do. Very unhappy about this. Why sell me protection that doesn't work? Now I have to pay to replace my screen again. Won't be using this place anymore. read more

So here it is , i had recently bought a used iPhone 5s unlocked for any carrier 16 gb for $275 ! Not bad on the price either took it home realized that my touch was kinda weird but still it functioned and i didn't think anything of it however just yesterday i had dropped the 5s i bought onto the floor, the drop was less then knee height for my bed has no frame that keeps it up above the ground however when it dropped only the top screen got misplaced and had came out a lil from the top! Me thinking the phone was just already messed up to begin with gave a call and was deff a bit frustrated but the manager deff kept his cool on the phone even tho i was talking over him and just told me to come back to the store and we can over options im only thinking that ima pay even more $$ just to fix a problem that was already there but i was deff wrong when i looked at sole google reviews on ppl dropping their 5s and surely what he said to me was no lie but still i couldnt wrap my head around why only the top from less then knee height would make the screen pop out anyhow ! Long story short the store manger placed a new screen on my s and put a screen shatter protector on my phone it works 100% and honestly im very pleased on how everything worked out i didnt pay +80 for a new screen just 20 and a courtesy tip for being very helpful!! I had a cracked S4 screen and brought it in for a repair. The screen repair that they did was great. My only complaint would be the sensitivity of the replacement screen that they gave me is not as good. Leaving a happy customer, I went to make a phone call with the new and improved phone screen, but my call wouldn't go through and I got a notification that the SIM card was not detected and that it was not registered to the network. I had to drive all the way back to Super SmartPhones to see if they had taken out my SIM card and had not replaced it or if the SIM card was damaged. They were understanding and tried to figure out the problem. They went to the back and they had forgotten to put my SIM card back in. I ,personally, wouldn't go back there again because when I go in to get my phone fixed and am left 3-4 hours without a phone while they fix it... I do not expect to have any issues afterwards and that my phone is returned as it was before, besides the cracked screen. It might have been a mistake and they had just forgotten to put the SIM card in. In the end, they found my SIM card and inserted it back in and apologized. I would just check to make sure your SIM card is still in before you leave after getting a repair. read more
