I'm probably just a big fan because my experience with the Go Shuttle was so bad, but my experience with Super Shuttle, both going to the airport and coming back, were very positive experiences that do not make me hesitate to book again. I took off a star for the fact that you can't book online and for the fact that the Phone Reservation line is both hard to understand (they seem to have connection issues) and staffed by rude people. The driver though arrived at my home 5 minutes early and waited the 5 minutes for me to finish some stuff up. He then came up to the second floor (outside walkway of course) and got my huge suitcase instead of watching me fall down the stairs with it. He was super pleasant but probably would have shut up if I had indicated I wasn't interested in talking. On the way back the wait for the shuttle was a mere 15 minutes (as opposed to the hour I had to wait for the Go Shuttle). The driver was very nice and, because it was raining, walked my suitcase up to my front door without rolling it across the parking lot that had become my personal front door lake. The service was nice and efficient. I also had my pup with me in a carrier. They only charge a $5 service fee as opposed to Go Shuttle who make you take a personal ride for $70. And they didn't even charge me for the dog on the way back. I live by the beach and the ride was $21 each way, not including tip and dog. read more

I arrived at MIA with no reservation waited 20 minutes and got on. The only glitch was a different passenger who booked with an other website for 2 people and we stopped for 15-20 minutes to clear things up. I reserved the day prior to an am flight and had no problem getting picked up on time. I flagged down a van I thought was mine, he backed up and got on the phone and computer to check which van I was to be in. It wasn't his but the next came within 5 minutes. I have mobility issues and having Super Shuttle there means that I can travel with confidence! I used the service both ways from MIA to a residence and then back to MIA. When I made my way to the kiosk at the curb, the girl there was not as friendly as I felt she could have been, but it may have been due to me not using the check in by app that I should have, but we got through that and once in the van it was a snap. The driver was courteous and friendly and most importantly he got me from point a to b safely! He was helpful to me in entering and exiting the van also. I happened to be his only passenger, which was really great! The ride back to MIA was an early time, but it was worth it to be on time at the airport and get there safely. The driver called as asked for and I could track it on the Super Shuttle app as well. I was the only passenger, which was peaceful and easy, and the driver was super professional and courteous, You cannot beat Super Shuttle for their level of communication and ease of booking, and paying in advance! I will always use them whenever I travel and I highly recommend them to others with disabilities, or without! read more

I've used them in LA and Austin with no problems but their location in the Ft Lauderdale area is the worst I've encountered. The night before our trip I received an email from Yellow Cab stating one of their drivers would pick us up. After collecting our bags, we went to the taxi stand as directed. But the agent there didn't know what I was talking about and despite reading the email from Yellow Cab, instructed us to the other end of the terminal to pick up SuperShuttle. After arriving there after a very long walk, we discovered no one was there. So we had to walk back to the taxi stand, show them the email AND talk to 3 agents at their toll free number before getting a supervisor who offered to "straighten out" the taxi agent. He finally agreed to hail a cab but that took another 30 minutes. When we finally arrived at our hotel, the driver refused to accept the paid voucher so I had to pay out of pocket again. Our return ride to the airport was also SuperShuttle (Yellow Cab) but the driver was extremely helpful and friendly. When I explained to him that SuperShuttle (YC) had not yet emailed my paid voucher, he said it was no problem and took my signed receipt as proof of payment. When I told him about our experience with the first driver, he commented that a lot of the cab drivers are lazy and don't want to make the airport/Hollywood run because they don't make a lot of money. I'll try to use SuperShuttle again but not in the Miami area. read more

I have used Super Shuttle in many cities and have never had a problem. When I arrived in Miami and checked in with the Super Shuttle rep, I was told it would be about 5 minutes before my van would arrive. About 45 minutes later, I was finally getting into the van. The van was filled with people, the driver took off, but didn't get far before he pulled the van over again and started doing paperwork. All of the passengers are just sitting and waiting for him to finish whatever it was he was doing. The ride also took about 45 minutes. I understand that it takes time, as passengers are getting off at different locations, but I don't think it should have taken as long as it did. At one point, I had to tell the driver that his light was green, because he was too busy looking down at something else to realize that the light had changed! The whole experience was really horrible, and I would never use Super Shuttle in Miami again! Especially after being told by someone else that I probably could have taken a taxi for the same amount as the shuttle cost! read more

What a nightmare! I had a scheduled shuttle to pick me up at the cruise port on dodge island in Miami. I ordered it a month before the pickup date. When the shuttle was a half hour late I called customer service. They said it was 5 min away. Another hour passed by and I called them three more times. Every time I called them they said the same thing 5 more min. I was one of the last remaining people waiting for a ride to the airport. I was lucky to not miss my plane. When the driver arrived he said there was traffic!?! There is traffic every time a cruise ship docks. Thousands of people got off and they all had rides waiting. Taxis, Uber's, other shuttles, all passing us by with no problem navigating traffic. I counted 5 SuperShuttle's that passed us. Just get a taxi when your in Miami. Less headaches. read more

Take a cab.. more available, cheaper, faster. Online booking was easy. Booked a private van for $58 each way with their "15 minutes windows". Arrived at MIA and no vans available despite advance booking. Checked w their know-nothing rep and said don't know we r running behind. Waited 30 min and no vans. Taxis were 20 ft away waiting for passengers. We canceled the van and in 2 min we were in a cab on our way to the hotel and for less than $40!! Took another immediately available taxi back to the airport. still waiting on my overdue refund for 4 weeks now and after 10 phone calls. So save ur money and time and frustration and use Taxis. My question to the company: why did we pre-pay a tip and there was a sign on the door that read "TIPS NOT INCLUDED"? If I could give zero stars, I would! I prepaid for round trip from the Miami airport to the Hyatt Regency downtown. My flight was delayed so I repeatedly called to alert them of my later arrival. Because my plane was now scheduled to reach Miami after midnight, I was given a local number to call when I arrived. The staff at the 800# were great - professional, sympathetic and reassuring. I called the local number after reaching Miami, as instructed, but the response was "Why are you calling? Just go to the shuttle booth outside the double doors from the baggage area. " I responded with, "And which door in particular?" To which I heard (in an exasperated tone), "I just told you. The (in very slow and condescending tones) double doors." [click]. So, I went to baggage claim and found some double doors and finally spotted a booth much farther down to my left. As I approached, it was clear the booth was unstaffed. I met another weary traveler also in search of the shuttle. She called the local number and I could hear the same exasperated tone as he asked her "Why are you at that booth? That one is closed! Walk down to the next booth!" She and I walked there (about 1/3 mile) and quickly boarded an arriving American shuttle (which is apparently the affiliated brand with SuperShuttle in Miami) with a family joining us (who noted they had been looking for the shuttle for a long time). The family was seated on the front bench of the van. The father noted that their son on the end of the bench nearest the door needed a seat belt. The driver replied, "I'll fix it when I pull over" and then started up the van. We drove around the airport's lower level to the next shuttle booth where we were all told to get out and talk to an agent. Considering we all had prepaid reservations, this process took a very long time. Finally, we all reboarded. The family reminded the driver their son needed a seat belt. The driver struggled to attach the belt to the end of the bench, announced it was broken, and stated the boy would have to move if they wanted him belted in. I unbuckled my seat belt, grabbed the problematic strap, immediately popped the belt latch in place, and the boy was then able to be buckled in by his mother. The driver seemed irritated that I demonstrated he apparently didn't grasp how the seat belt in his van worked. Finally, it seemed we were actually going to depart (a mere 40 minutes after arriving at the closed booth). We drove away and then very shortly pulled over at a fourth booth for some paperwork to be exchanged. Then, the radio announced another passenger needed a pick up. To our astonishment, we circled through the bowels of the airport and arrived back at the very booth we had left 10 minutes earlier. The driver exited, chatted with the agent and a few minutes later climbed in the van. Apparently, that passenger needed to take a different van. Then, we headed out of the airport after stopping at the booth again (even though the passenger load had not changed)! To all of our relief, we actually left the airport this time. The van arrived at my hotel in 12 minutes. The driver then demanded a printed voucher. I told him I had prepaid. He requested cash. I showed him the confirmation email on my phone and then walked away. He said "Oh, you prepaid" as if I had not told him this three times already. Two and a half days later, I confirmed my reservation at the 800#. I was very politely told to expect the van at my hotel between 1:25 and 1:40 and given a friendly request to please be on time so as to to inconvenience other passengers. At 1:43, an American shuttle van arrived. I was not on his roster but the driver called the office and was eventually told to allow me and another passenger to board. The driver then exited the van in search of a missing passenger. Several minutes later, he returned with three more passengers and we left at 2:05. I expressed concern over making my flight and got no response. We then drove to pick up one more passenger at a different hotel and headed back to the highway, passing right by my Hyatt on the way (so, why not start at the other hotel?). We got to the airport at 55 minutes before departure. Luckily, TSA was fast for a change, the airport train cooperated, and I made it to my gate with eight minutes to spare. This was clearly the worst shuttle experience I have ever had (and I have had previous good experiences with SuperShuttle in other cities). In Miami, I recommend taking a cab from/to the airport but cannot more strongly urge you not to use the SuperShuttle there. The little that a shuttle ticket saves is not worth it. Their ground customer service, ground procedures, and ineptitude are what earned them this one star review. read more

I can tell you Super Shuttle is the worst place to work for - I know I was their driver. Drivers complain constantly on the crappy pay (commissions - up to 27% of fares), lack of proper maintence on vans and/or the lack of vans. Some drivers must wait for a long time - sometimes over an hour for a vehicle to be able earn some money - we do not get paid for the waiting time nor the time credit and we still have to do the eight and the hald hour min.. Some drivers will just leave for the day than waste their time up to three hours just for a van. I from New York, and the Subway and Busses runs every twenty minutes during late night hours under normal service and that can feels like over an hour. Sometimes when I am getting close to end my shift, I get hit a three stop run ending in Palm Beach during afternoon rush hour an I get really upset and everybody noticed this including passengers except management. I also feel Super Shuttle do not care about the vans. - Some vans have no A/C, - Suts off without warning at the wrong time. - Some of the vans can not be shut off because I can not start then again. - Some of them leaks (oil, coolant) so mechanics would prefer to add fluid that to repair the leak and management might curse and make the driver pay blowned engine, even if it not the fauld of the driver. - Some vans break down several time for the same reason, mechanics will tale a look and put back in service because they are short on vehicles. - Sometimes make driver and CSR make fake excuses to passengers and I tired in making excuses and everybody blames me for things that are beyond my control. Management do not care about me, my health (I am diabetic type 2 w/ high blood pressure) and I know some drivers who died on-duty nor that I have a F***** life and I want to enjoy it once in a while. I really feel like a F****** slave. I also feel like a have a some kind of form of autism. I always pray that the van breaks down so I can go home early. Super Shuttle is the worst place to work for and they screwed me BIG TIME ! ! Take the cab or Miami-Dade Transit Route 150 (AIRPORT EXPRESS) $2.35 per person if you are going to South Beach and you have very little luggage. F*** SUPER SHUTTLE ! ! ! read more

I walked out of my terminal and found a stand up kiosk. The individual working set up a reservation and got me on my way to the hotel in 15 minutes - seemed fair to me, especially the $16 rate. Who can argue with that? Fast and friendly service at a good price - SOLD. read more

Harassment and Discrimination. This evening at the Miami Dade International Airport I was the subject of discriminatory harassment by an employee of Super Shuttle, where I was denied service, verbally assaulted, and publicly humiliated. The incident was officially recorded by two very kind, helpful, and apologetic security personnel, who were approached by at least one of the many witnesses who attested to grossly inappropriate behavior of the Super Shuttle employee. Needless to say, I will not hire Super Shuttle's services in future and on principle and in solidarity, will not recommend their services to allies and members of the LGBTQ community. read more

I have used Super Shuttle in other cities/states and always had a pleasant experience. When we arrived to MIA, our pick up to the Port of Miami for our cruise was wonderful. The return was absolutely dreadful!. We got off the ship a little before 9am on 5/6/13. I had already made the reservation two weeks in advance as we had an 11am flight. Our pick up time was scheduled between 9-9:15am. The flight time was also provided to Super Shuttle. An on site representative had my name on the confirmation list and called dispatch to get the number of the van picking us up. After approximately 20 minutes, he still had not received that information and had called a few times. I then got on the phone with customer service to see what the delay was. After a few minutes, I was instructed that van #505 would be picking us up within a few minutes. The on site rep received the same information shortly after me. By this time another lady was also waiting to go to MIA. Within a few minutes, we see van #505 come around the corner and are ready to go. Unfortunately, the driver must not have had a different agenda as he chose not to stop, kept going and waved at us as he passed by. At this point, I am absolutely furious and stressed because we were in danger of missing our flight. I started to call customer service again and the on site rep gave me the number to his supervisor. I called the gentleman and explained the situation. He advised that van #526 would be there shortly to pick us up and take us directly to the airport. We waited until about 9:50am which was approx 10 minutes after my call to the supervisor and another call to customer service. The driver was very friendly when he arrived. We got to the airport at 10:00. Self check-in at American and were done by 10:10. From that time until 10:45, we had to wait in line to go through TSA. Once we took the shuttle and got to our gate, our flight had already taxied away and the gate agent yelled at us for being late. American had to redirect us on standby for another flight home to Dallas and then track down our bags which were on the original flight. Such an frustrating and stressful end to what had been a beautifully relaxing vacation. I have submitted a complaint to their customer service department and have not received a reply yet. If Super Shuttle had stayed within the 9-9:15am timeframe, or even up until 9:30, we would not have missed our flights. I do know that when I travel in the future, Super Shuttle will not be used. read more

We pre paid for the shuttle to pick us up from Ft. Lauderdale cruise terminal to west palm airport. The shuttle never showed. We called repeatedly, got put on hold repeatedly. It was a nightmare. Finally, we had to take a cab to the airport.vvit was only $12 more than the shuttle. Do not make a reservation with this company! My driver showed up on time both times I had to take an early morning flight out of FLL. It runs around the $40 price range with tip. I wish I had done a little more research but it was a lot cheaper than a taxi and the first shuttle I checked out, so I was sold. Driving wasn't superb but I got to my destinations with only mild increase in heart rate. The deal breaker for me was picking me up from the airport. I scheduled a pick up for a flight that landed at 4:30. It took an hour for my shuttle to come! During that hour I was waiting, 3 SuperShuttle's came and went for other groups/individuals. All the drivers were kept telling me twenty more minutes until my shuttle came! Extremely aggravating for a traveler who just wants to go home, being told your shuttle you scheduled for a pick up won't be on time, 3 times! While I waited I noticed several other shuttle services drive by much more frequently than SuperShuttle, and much cheaper too! Skip out on these guys unless you're really desperate! This could be a decent service if it was managed better, had more drivers, and had reliable pick up times. The drivers are polite of course, they work for tips. The drivers who aren't driving you are completely clueless on what to say except for "twenty more minutes" and hands you a card with a number, so you can call and complain. That's a lot to work on to improve a business like this so I don't imagine it being worth while anytime soon. read more

We requested a 4AM pickup to take us to MIA Int'l. Our driver (#812) Keith was on time and showed up with plenty of energy, great manners and an attitude of service. He was personable and open and in the name of full disclosure, he informed us what other stops we'd be making on the way as soon as we got on the road. In all of my future trips to Miami, I intend to use SuperShuttle and will request Keith every time. And if you appreciate service professionals who are respectful, timely and have an actual personality, you should too. read more

I have used this service quite often in multiple cities and have always had good service and good experiences. However, upon leaving for a vacation on Sept 2 to return on Sept 9, I pre-booked both rides to and from the airport and paid in advance. As we all know, Hurricane Irma came through and changed many peoples plans. I was unable to return to Miami on the 9th because the airport was closed. By the time I was able to get back it was Sept 17. I had my pre-booked reservation number and went to the Super Shuttle kiosk for assistance. The employees were very helpful and called dispatch for assistance. Dispatch was unable to find my reservation number. Okay, so I was told I would need to pay for the ride that night and then call to get the refund for my prepaid booking. Okay, not a problem. I called the number provided to request a refund for my prepaid booking that was unable to be used since the airport was closed. Phone message gave instructions to complete the process on online. Perfect, I did that. I received an automated message that my request would be dealt with in the order in which it was received. That was 3 months ago! I have not had a single communication since and have submitted the request multiple times. If this is how a customer is treated when requesting a refund for a legitimate reason, THE AIRPORT WAS CLOSED!!!, then I am more than happy to no longer use or recommend the service to others. read more

The worst experience ever! Booked and paid in advance...they told us to be outside at 3:35AM, at 3:40...no one was there, my husband called they said 7 min away. Well the 7 min came and went..called a few more times..no van. At 4:01am I called and flipped out..he arrived 3 min later. Then the driver, who was polite, tells me dispatch gave him the call to pick up 2 others as well at 3:15! He said the first passenger was a no show so we had to go back to see if he showed. After that waste of time..it's now 4:23am and we just started to venture to the airport. Do not use the Supershuttle from the Port of Miami. We had scheduled a private van to pick our family up after a cruise. The dispatch center was overwhelmed and forgot to dispatch our van. We called a second time and they explained that they were "busy". Why scheduled a private van and a pickup time if they are not going to be able to be there? Take a taxi, much less hassle. read more
