Be cautious! Our ride was an old beat up vehicle, very dirty and a horrible driver. We went off the road many times and drove in the oncoming traffic on several occasions. We felt as if we were in danger. When sent a text to the company telling them about our experience they began threatening us and even went to the trouble of finding out where we work (clear across the country) and called our work places with defamating lies that could ruin our careers. I tried this shuttle last year when I came to Miami. There was no kiosk so I didn't know where to go. I wandered around aimlessly and called the company. They told me look for someone in a company shirt. I tried that. Needless to say, I couldn't find anyone. I eventually found the shuttle guy after I called the company again. Ok. Fast forward a year later. I decided to give them another shot. This year there was a kiosk. I waited and waited. But no one was there. So I called to company. They told to me to walk to another kiosk. They said they'd dispatch a shuttle. So I wait and wait and wait. Then I call again. By this time I'm am pissed. The lady tells me that they would dispatch a driver to me. Wth? That's what they told me earlier. Well I finally get to the hotel. And mind you it's 4 in the morning. So needless to say I will never use this service again. read more

Super Shuttle is a convenient way to get from the airport to almost any hotel. At $42 for a round trip to South Beach it's pricier than Uber, but I prefer a shared ride to riding alone with a stranger. When purchasing a trip you'll need to provide flight information. They can monitor flights and as soon as you land, you'll begin receiving text messages directing you where to go. There's a Super Shuttle kiosk and attendant just outside of baggage claim and very easy to find. Be ready to provide a confirmation number to the attendant. The attendant wasn't that friendly and pretty distracted by his phone and a World Cup match on the computer. He did direct me to the correct van when it arrived, but talk to me, explain what's going on. A little communication goes a long way. I had a great time chatting with my driver on the way to South Beach. When he asked for the address of my hotel he told me that couldn't be correct. Well, I showed him my hotel reservation confirmation and it was correct. Because my hotel was on a pedestrian only street blocked to vehicle traffic, he was uncertain where to let me out. For my trip back to the airport, I made sure to confirm with Super Shuttle the exact spot where I'd be waiting. What was neat about my return trip is that I got a text with an interactive map and could follow the progress of the shuttle coming to pick me up. When I checked, my van was right around the corner, about ten minutes early. I grabbed my luggage and hustled outside but didn't see a Super Shuttle van. There was however, a gorgeous black Mercedes limo van waiting. It was my ride. I had the driver's name and he had mine so it all worked out. Evidently, they use another company as backup when they're busy. All-in-all, Super Shuttle is an easy-breezy way to get to your hotel and back to the airport again. read more

Horrible experience. 40 minutes to get on overcrowded van. Another 45 minutes to leave airport. Driver tried forcing foreigners to pay cash after they already paid for reservations due to them not having printed copies. Kiosk personnel were the rudest customer service agents I had ever seen. Already on the shuttle then at the next stop an African American lady said they have to charge for my child. $10 is not a big deal but the way she spoke was VERY RUDE and Condescending ....not to mention if she is a Supervisor then it was her Employees mistake and this company should not make any customer feel unappreciated and it's the customer error. It's a little weird that it's on a different network from the other Supershuttles, so you have to reserve a spot by phone and not the internet. And it's a little annoying that they come so early. But they're reliable, they get you where you want to go, and they're a lot cheaper than a cab, and not that much slower. If you need airport transportation, beggars can't be choosers! read more

A mixed bag..the drivers were friendly, and offered to carry my bags. (Yeah, I'm a guy but was carrying 3x my body weight in books and winter clothes. Besides, I had slacked off from the gym during my board exam preparation.) The driver on the way to the airport was actually on time - a pleasant surprise - and got me to airport on time. He was even chatty about the upcoming Giants' championship. The driver on the return trip was also a nice guy - heck, he even looked like Santa - but he was a little disoriented, in that I had to repeat my address a couple of times and even had to point out which exit to take out of the airport. He even said that he normally doesn't cover this route. Thank goodness it was GETTING home instead of rushing to catch a flight. The one thing I noticed about both vans was that the A/C was weak to nonexistent. Let's hope they get that fixed up. read more

I use Super shuttle every year to get Mom to the airport but this was the first time to get her home and of course Mom got confused but Jackie in dispatch and the driver went above and beyond to find my very lost 82 yr young mother at the airport. Their patience and Jackie's amazing composure in this stressful time, my mom got so turned around, got lost then ended up at Go shuttle was incredible. Jackie is a true asset to Super Shuttle and worth her weight in gold!!! The drivers kindness and patience was so appreciated and she also was a shining star in this comedy of errors. I use Super Shuttle in NYC all the time to get to JFK for my early flights and the Miami office did not disappoint! Bravo and Kudos Super Shuttle!!! read more

We had an early (5:45 am) pickup scheduled from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale International with the premium executive shared shuttle, but Vijay (car 107) showed up at 5:10 am, which was perfect for us since we had a 45 minute ride to the airport. He was professional and friendly, and his limo (Mercedes Benz) was clean and comfortable. Vijay made sure we were comfortable at every turn. He turned a rather mundane trip into a very pleasant one. He got us to the airport with plenty of time to spare. We asked him for his personal information so we could personally request him again. All in all, a very pleasant experience with Super Shuttle and worth every penny! read more

Bravo! This is a very good service that can save you around $15 from and to Miami airport both ways. The taxi or lyft will cost you at least $32 each way. First of all, it is very so easy to book your trip online. You will get confirmation number for each way. They will text you one day before your trip. Then one hour before your trip they will send you the ride information: the name of your driver and the car plate. Also they will provide a link where you can track the car until it is in front of you. My flight to Miami was deleted 3 hours and when I called them they said we know we keep track on your flight until you arrived. They change the time easily and quickly with no extra charge! they are very knowledgable and they know what they are doing. When I got to miami airport they sent me a link to self check in and they provided a map in how to find their car!! It was a very professional business! I hope we have them in Columbus one day! Hello! Maybe you should learn how to read a map if you're driving a shuttle, just saying that it would be nice if the driver had understood Miami's grid-like addresses or if he would have listened to me when I tried to help. I was told by several friends to use them so I did. I called and made my appt and they were courteous and quick to get me on a shuttle. I was so pleased when I walked downstairs as the shuttle was pulling up. The driver was polite and nice and reassured me we just had one quick stop since it was 6am I wasn't too concerned. Oh, but I should have been. I asked him the name of the building he said: "No Name". I asked him the address since he seemed to be staring at the map like suddenly it would spurt wings and fly off so he had to stare it down into submission. He mumbled something about 15th street. So when he seemed to be heading into Downtown from Brickell I felt confident he knew where he was going. That is until he got on I-95 and jumped off on near Midtown to then drive all the way back down to 15th street... All the time the clock is ticking down and I'm beginning to realize he is directionally challenged. For the record I did voice my concerns and he was apologetic. Luck have it I made it to my flight just in time. Would I use them again? Yes. However, I would make sure nothing like this ever happened again by padding my flight time by about 30 minutes. read more

Apparently, if you call the direct number for Miami, it's only $17 to get to the airport. My friend told me when she called the main 800 number, it was $22. However, they arrived early for her and for me, they never called to say they were there. My flight was to leave at 10:45 and they told me they'll be there at 8:45. I thought that was a little late and called back to try to change to an earlier time. Nope, they weren't having it. They neglected to tell me to stand outside for the shuttle. So, 8:45 came and went and I finally called to inquire where the hell was the shuttle. I was put on hold and eventually, the doorman of the building called to say there had been a Super Shuttle waiting in the driveway all this time. I got downstairs and the driver had the nerve to admonish me about being 10 minutes late! What! I wasn't the one who was late. Well, at least it only took about 20 minutes to get to the airport and fortunately security wasn't too bad. Would I use them again? Yes, but make sure you stand outside or you might miss the shuttle! read more

Just tried Supershuttle in Miami for the 1st time and don't recommend. Cost from MIA to South Beach was 21$ but the driver spent 20 minutes picking up passengers and chatting at the kerb before leaving the airport. Driver decided to drop me off last so to make it more convenient for his pick up without considering the traffic I had to endure with him. took me 80 minutes to arrive at South Beach. Never take supershuttle if there are 2 or more persons. Taxi is only 32$ whilst 2 persons on supershuttle is already 42$ and your time wasted. read more

If you're flying with a friend, you might as well share a cab -- it'll be quicker and around the same price than if you paid for the shuttle for yourself. The most amazing airport shared ride service ever! Reservations, dispatch and drivers are all available 24/7. I usually fly in/out of PBI - Just walk over to the Ground Transportation desk in the baggage claim area. The driver will load and unload your bags and drop you off at the address you provide. On my last trip down to the area I received a text notification at 1am that my 7am flight had been canceled. The shuttle had been scheduled for a 5am pick-up. After I had all my new flight info handy I crossed my fingers and dialed their reservations number. Incredibly at close to 2am a customer service rep picked up, found my reservation, took down the updated flight info, rescheduled my shuttle pick-up time and sent me a text notification when we finished up. If a shared ride shuttle not your bag, they also have a car service, lol. One star taken off for their really crappy website that does. not. function. but happily, one of the few services you don't need to rely on an app or website to use. read more

I travel all the time and as such, I use shuttles frequently. I need to warm you to NEVER use this company. I waited for over an hour for pickup even tough I had email confirmation on my reservation. I called the main number and waited for 25 minutes for someone to pickup. Only to be told that I needed to call another number. I called that number and waited for 20 minutes for someone to pickup. The young woman told me that they were in the middle of a shift change. That's unacceptable. She then told me she would get them to send someone. That an entire HOUR after my reservation. My friend just got in The Super Shuttle from Key Biscayne to Ft Lauderdale Hollywood Airport with the outside temp about 95 degrees right now. The air conditioner in the shuttle is not working - just blowing hot air and the driver keeps says.."It's hot in Miami"- only words he can speak in English. She just called the office and the office is apparently making excuses for the AC not working. She is sadly disappointed in this transportation service as she is soaking in sweat waiting to get on her plane back home. Beware folks before you get in the van- make sure the AC is working in the heat or use a different company. read more

Two part review. Used service both ways. Usually I go the shared van route but this was not an option at this particular airport... so got a solo car. WOW!! Got the entire man-waiting-with-sign at the bottom of the escalator experience - can't lie; it was kinda nice... Nice, quiet car, very efficient driver. The return trip was even better - driver got there early, in a Lincoln Town Car (way too much car for me) but the driver was again, very efficient. Really. The. Worst. These people do not give you the right guest service that you deserve. I saw a lady being shouted at, when she walked a few meters away, and then the person at the desk cancelled her trip because she had walked outside of the designated area. When in the shuttle the driver has to do his "paper work" making us miss our time slot so we had to pick up three other guests. The driver is muttering for himself, and the different guest service manager are screaming at each other! I have never seen something like this. Almost 1 hour later I called and was informed the driver went to my house, not the airport. I took the shuttle home after taking a trip from MIA. After I collected my baggage and went to the staging area I got in line to get on the list to go home. (some jerk off had run in front of me to get the last available seat on an outgoing shuttle...but since I had nowhere except home to be who cares) So, the guys asking where you were going was rude and I could hardly understand him because he kept mumbling on top of having a thick accent. So, my inital impression of super shuttle was "great, this is going to suck". SO, the guy at the airport was lame and I had to wait about 20 minutes for another shuttle to come and bring me home. The drive was fine and the guy didn't get lost. So, I was happy to get home and glad the driver was good. However, the ride was $36 and there were 2 of us on the shuttle. We passed another super shuttle and it also contained only 2 people. It should come as no surprise to anyone that like most things in my life, I am neurotic abt traveling -- so, when I rebooked a flight leaving from Ft. Lauderdale rather than Miami, I was immediately worried I would be stuck in horrid traffic and that I would miss my plane...regardless -- what is good: I was able to book a shuttle at 1am for later that afternoon, and the price, $31 is totally reasonable -- now onto what is weird... Okay, I take SS like once every 3 years, but I am aware that it's a shared thing, so when they tell you a pick up time, sometimes its approximate b/c they have to get other riders. Fine. But at least give me a heads up abt estimated arrival time so that I'm not having a panic attack abt the shuttle never showing up -- so, after 3 phone calls inquiring after my driver, he finally rolls up (shirt untucked, tie all over the place) 40 minutes late -- 40 min I don't really have, given that FLL can be a drive, depending on the road conditions -- okay, fine, I expected there to be other passengers. Wrong -- I was the only one thus far, so we then drove all over Miami Beach for 40 minutes picking up 3 other people -- a trip which included several detours, looking at maps, calling dispatch, and oh right, a U-turn onto the SIDEWALK. i usually take super shuttle when i land in Miami and never have had an issue. But this last time, oh there was an issue. Upon our arrival at the airport, the blue van was no where around. So i called them and they told me to look for someone in a yellow shirt. There was no one in a yellow shirt. then the operator told me to look for a super shuttle stand, again, there was no stand. the operator got pissed and hung up on me. this happened another 2 times. The 4th operator told me to find the American shuttle stand, which i did, and was told they would be the ones transporting us. we were so confused bc the reservation was with super shuttle. this is when i found out they were working together. that bit of info is something that should have been explained in advance. all in all, it took about an hr to get the transportation issue straightened out. next time i think well just take a cab. read more

This past Sunday (11/15/2015) I used Super Shuttle to take me back to Miami International Airport after 3 1/2 days of fun in Miami. Being the procrastinator that I am, I waited until the morning of the day of my flight to call. My flight was scheduled for 11:20am and Super Shuttle picked me up at 8:30 am even though I hadn't made a reservation in advance. They prefer you to call at least a day in advance but the receptionist went ahead and got my debit card info so I could be picked up and make my flight. If I'd caught a taxi, it would have been at least a $35 fare to get from my hotel room on South Beach to the airport, but with Super Shuttle I only paid $20. Not only do I want to show my appreciation to the receptionist for taking me at the last minute but I also want to recognize the driver (I forgot his name, but he is a dark skinned middle-age black man with a beard) for his professional manner and good driving. He extended the same courteous manner to the other two parties he picked up as well. I'd read the previous negative posts about Super Shuttle and that's why I was a little reluctant to call them. But now I know I'll definitely use their services again if I return to Miami. read more

This Shuttle is ridiculously SLOW! My flight landed like 8:27pm. By 10pm, I still haven't reached my hotel because of all the back and forth between the driver and annoying passengers. Also the traffic. The airport is only like 20-30 something minutes away. It shouldn't take over 1 hour and half. Super Shuttle Drivers are obligated to turn around and repeat driving through the airport ground transportation level to pick up a second group of passengers. Driving through careless people constantly crossing the street and taxis in the way DELAYS everything. One passenger was yelling at the driver and the other "know-it-all" wouldn't let the driver focus on driving and kept babbling about how he knew the area. Our Driver was cool and down to Earth but the company needs to be more efficient. Save your money and just take the $2.65 bus from the MIA Airport or Uber Pool it for cheap! Miami Supershuttle, never again. Unreliable!!! I made a reservation, I had my reservation number. I waited and waited and waited...for a 515am pick up at 545am I called them. The first agent exclaimed OMG (after getting my confirmation #), then I was on hold and transferred around, then a second "rude" agent to tell me, you better call a taxi because we can't find your reservation and hung up. No supervisors on duty, until 8am. I will Never again do business with this company. read more

After calling the manager, they tell me I need to fork over an additional $22. Nice extortion racket you have here. I told the man on the phone I had a voucher clearly indicating 4 passengers and that it was a terrible business practice to refuse to honor their own receipt. He couldn't care less. Evidently he's not in charge of sales or marketing. Rather than chalk up the twenty dollars to training costs, this guy chose to lose a customer and further damage his employer's reputation for customer service. Given the overall review scores here, I doubt anyone at Super Shuttle gives one whit about repeat business. Do yourself a huge favor and find another ride to the airport. read more

like William B. said, it is annoying that you cant book online but once I arrived at MIA on Friday morning the shuttle came in less than 10 mins. I didn't make a reservation but that wasn't a problem because the shuttles circle the airport so even if one just left another will be by in a few mins. Its $21 to loews miami beach hotel. A cab would have been about $32, so if you are a party of 2 or more, take a cab. Also know the address of your hotel. The driver knew where the loews was but another passenger was going to the W, and the driver didn't know where that was and tried to drop him off at the Z hotel or something. HAHA. They tell you that pickup from hotel to airport has to be scheduled 24hrs in advance which is bs. In any case the same driver picked me up promptly at noon on monday. They take credit cards but its a bit of a hassle because the driver has to fill out a little form. No machine like in cabs. You also get the sense that the driver is annoyed. Oh well. Overall this is a great way to get back and forth from the airport in Miami. read more

Given that my flight was in the middle of the day and during the week I needed a ride to the airport. I contemplated a cab but figured I could save a few bucks by using this service. Granted, when I called to make the appointment, the rep hung up on me, but I called right back and finished my shuttle reservation. I live in Aventura, which is as north of Miami Dade County as it gets, so it was about $28 for the service to get to MIA. They arrived in the 15 minute window they gave me and all was well. Botton line: I would definitely use this service again if I needed to. read more

At last minute, making a reservation was a piece of cake. At midnight on a Saturday night, I made a reservation for pickup at the Ramada Inn in Hollywood, Florida for 11am. Since you can't make a reservation online, I called, and received a confirmation number at the end of the call. Everything went smoothly. I waited outside at 11am. At 11:15am, I called. It turns out I was given the wrong confirmation number (under someone's name that wasn't mine), so it took a while to find my reservation. It should be noted I've used Super Shuttle before, but never have had a problem in the past finding my confirmation number. Finally at 12pm, the shuttle came. This was after an abundance of phone calls, false promises of arrivals within five minutes, etc. While customer service was pleasant (hence the two stars), the shuttle was an hour late. If you can help it, use another company! read more

Amazing when picking you up from your home. Always early and the people are fantastically courteous, Getting picked up at the airport is a completely different experience. We had to wait outside for 25 mins on the cold curb. Have used them flawlessly in other cities (Denver and San Fran), but waiting this long after 11pm was not the experience I expected. I've had favorable experiences with SuperShuttle in other cities in the past, so I was expecting reasonable service with Miami SuperShuttle when I took them to the Miami International Airport a few months ago. Big mistake. I should have known there might be a problem when I called the 800 number on the national website and was put on hold to wait for an agent for over 20 minutes (this was calling around 10pm for a shuttle the next morning), only to then be told by said agent that the national call center does not handle Miami SuperShuttle bookings. I would have to call a different, local Miami number. So I called the local SuperShuttle number and spoke with an agent who seemed more than a little distracted. At the end of the conversation, she said everything was set and I should be ready for a shuttle to pick me up the next morning. Long story short: I waited 45 minutes, but the shuttle never showed. When I called to find out what was going on, it turned out that they had my name and phone number associated with somebody else's reservation -- who was coming from Fort Lauderdale, not Miami!! They sent another driver out right away. He arrived about 15 minutes later, and since when I had made the reservation I had told them my flight would be earlier than it was actually scheduled (just to be on the safe side), I still had enough time to check in for the flight. The shuttle driver then tried to charge me the rate they charge for a single-party in the van -- but I refused to pay it because it was their scheduling screw up that led to them having to rush out an empty van for me and drive it straight to the airport. He ended up accepting the fee I had been quoted when I had called the night before. It would have been cheaper and less of a hassle to have just called a taxi, which is what I now do when I don't want to drive and park at the airport. read more
