My husband and I decided the night before…read morethat we needed a taxi to go diving, but I was so worried we would never make it on time because of past experience and all the bad reviews on other taxi companies. We had to be at the dive shop at 8am to check in and prepare our gear. We ask that the cab arrive at 7:15 even though our destination was only 15 minutes away. We wanted to have some flexibility in case the diver came late. We were not disappointed. At 7am we got a call that the taxi was at the entrance of our resort, but were told not to worry since he was early. I was so relieved we wouldn't miss the dive boat. The diver was the owner of the company (forgot his name) and he was the nicest man ever. The car was very clean and looked quite new and the ride was comfortable without any unnecessary sudden stops. The 15 minute trip cost $19 and the timer didn't start until we got in the car which was exactly at 7:15am. They accept credit cards, but there is a $1 service charge. We mentioned that we would need a ride back to our resort after the dive and were told to not worry and just call at least 15 minutes early. We ended up getting a ride back to the resort with a fellow diver who was also staying there, but the taxi called us to see if we still needed a ride. I was so impressed they took the time to make sure we were ok. Seriously, I will never use any other taxi service in Key Largo, Tavernier or Islamorada area of Florida. Their number is 603.986.0734.

Am I not allowed to call and ask for a quote and then decide to find a better deal?? According to this company, I am not. She said, "if your boss wants to come to Key West, he needs to learn to pay Key West prices." Lady, that isn't a problem, the issue is you are rude and not worth a dime. My God, eww!

She was super friendly and willing to work with our pick up locations and times. (We stayed in Ft Lauderdale the night before heading to Sea Base) Pickup and delivery went well. Our driver knew his way around the keys, and avoided a huge traffic jam on the way down to Sea Base. Both stops for food on the way down and back were at some great local places that we wouldn't have know about either.

They showed up 20 minutes early to pick us up. I explained to the driver that we would not be ready until our pickup time and saw that he had passengers in the van. He was anxious to get to the airport so I told him he could go and I would drive to the airport. He asked if that would be too much trouble and I said we would be fine. He told me to call the office and explain what happened and he sped off. I called the office number and told them everything. The sound of dishes clinking and a baby crying got me thinking this wasn't as big a company as I thought. She thanked me and hung up. The day before our return to Florida, I got an email about our pickup at the airport. I replied that I did not get a ride to the airport, I drove. I had previously called the office and explained everything. Obviously, if I drove to the airport instead of taking the round trip ride, I would not need the second leg of the trip. A couple weeks later I noticed a charge on my credit card from them. I emailed to ask them for a refund. They said I refused service on the ride to the airport and cancelled too late for the return. They charged me for both rides! I guess it's my fault for not checking their Yelp reviews.
