You can tell care goes into the food. The bread they serve tastes fresh like it's baked there, which makes a big difference. We also had the chicken fettuccine, and my daughter absolutely loved it, which is always a win as a parent. We've only done takeout so far, but this spot has officially upgraded our movie nights at home. One of these days we'll probably dine in, but even to-go, the quality holds up -- and that says a lot. However as I continued down Grand I finally caught a glimpse of a sign that indicated additional parking in the rear. Nerves began to settle as I was able to easily find parking in the giant lot behind the store. I walked around the block, found the entrance and went inside. What awaited me inside had me in shock. A spacious area with a family friendly industrial tones with plenty of seating, a friendly staff that ushered me in and seamlessly guided me to my friend's table, and quaint bakery and grocery area to boot. The food was delicious, upon a cursory review of Yelp I went with the Gnocchi with pesto. My friend had chicken Scaloppina. Portions and price point were great. I had leftovers and did not feel ripped off. The cappuccino I ordered, not the best, but it wasn't bad. It's not like I was at a cafe or coffee shop. The waiter was attentive and the restaurant seemed to be at 70% capacity with families. Overall, I would say it was a positive experience and would recommend it as the best Italian option in this part of town.
