Super Ninja Hibachi Combo (Steak, Shrimp, Chicken)
Leah J.

I've been wanting to return to Super Ninja for quite some time so we decided to stop in on a Friday evening around 7pm. Unfortunately, we had to wait 30 mins before being seated which I thought was quite a wait considering the restaurant wasn't packed at all. As soon as we were seated, our server took our food and drink order. I decided on the Super Ninja which included steak, shrimp and chicken and also wanted to try the Sake flight which consisted of Dry, Unfiltered Nigori, Fuji Apple, and Peach Sake. The hibachi chef confirmed our orders before getting started. It's always entertaining to watch them light the grill and put on a show! Our food was prepared fairly quickly and everything tasted pretty good. The steak was more Well Done than Medium, which is what I suggested, but everything else was great and the Sake was very good. We sat next to some pretty fun people as well which also made the dinner even better. As we were leaving, they did apologize for the long wait which I thought was very nice. If you're looking for a nice hibachi restaurant, definitely try Super Ninja.

Love this place! They have the best volcano rolls ever. i moved across the country and travel for a living, and have found nothing comparable, and always visit when I come to visit family. Staff is always very friendly, and love the fact that if you want to do all you can eat sushi you can sit right at the bar, and separate hibachi rooms. Affordable all you can eat sushi (at least for me where west coast can be $40-$60 per person)

The staff is friendly and the service is fast. We waited no longer than 10 mins for our food. We did the all you can eat sushi. Everything tasted great! We didn't have to call to get our drinks refilled and the waitress took our empty plates right away.

Our family loves hibachi and this is the place to go for both hibachi and delicious sushi! The chefs are incredible and put on a great show. The rest of the staff is very friendly and attentive. It's a great relaxing, family environment.

We came back again with a bunch of friends in a weekday and decided to do AYCE sushi. We didn't know they had this option. Apparently it's only available on weekdays. They have an extensive menu to order from so we ordered away and everything was so good. The kids sat at another table next to us and they ordered meals from the menu because they can't eat enough for AYCE. The servers were so nice and attentive. We can't wait to go back again! Also if you want a great martini, order the lychee martini. It's sooo good!!!

I have been searching for good hibachi and FINALLY! Stumbled across this place on Friday afternoon. Restaurant was empty, we were greeted and seated right away. Service was great from the server and cook. Loved the fact that they use garlic in their hibachi( not everyone does ) . Appetizer I had gyoza, had the hibachi steak and chicken and my daughter had the salmon and steak. They also do noodles and rice( SCORE) Everything was delicious. I appreciated the acknowledgment of my daughters shellfish allergy and them adjusting accordingly. I also had a Washington Apple Martini and my friend had a Long Island and they were not stingy on the drinks. Overall restaurant was clean and I can tell they are busy at peak hours. This is our new hibachi spot.

Such a fun team dinner!

Such a fun experience for our son's soccer team party! Super Ninja hosted 50 of us at their hibachi tables. Great food, quick and thoughtful service, exciting entertainment. We may need to make this a tradition!

Always always always fun. It's like dinner and a show. I'm like a kid with my eyes wide open when they do their wonderful tricks. I find myself clapping because it's great. My favorite is group participation. The food is always good. Service here is consistently good. We have come to this location ever since they have been open. We usually call ahead for reservations because we usually have a big group. We have also dined on the side without the hibachi. Still good service and good food. You can order off the menu. We have only eaten that way twice. We usually come here for the hibachi

My family and I came here to celebrate my grandfather's 85 birthday. The staff was patient and friendly considering there were a lot of us (25+). They seated us at two stations close to one another, quickly provided us with menus, and took our drink orders. I ordered the Green Ninja Martini. I forgot to take a pic, but the drink was a bit sweet and syrupy. I wish they added more sake. I ended up with only one drink for the night. After the drinks were served, the chef arrived to prepare the food we ordered while giving us a nice show. The food and service were pretty decent. The food is served hot and fresh. Make sure you try their yum yum sauce. I have no idea what it is but it tastes great with everything! I wouldn't mind coming here again whenever I decide to take the trip down south. Overall it was a great experience!

Let's get this Super Ninja show on the road well we checked in and the host directed us to the waiting area. And the clock ticks now I know to be part of a hibachi experience most places will ensure the seating around the table is full soooooo.... I hoping that the food is worth the wait, so I start my beautiful wife ordered filet Mignon, shrimp and chicken, I ordered the chicken and lobster. Well it was worth the wait the vegetables, fried rice even noodles In a teriyaki sauce! Filet Mignon Chicken, Shrimp and lobster were All cooked to perfection there was no shortage of people filtering in and out so obviously the food is the attraction make a stop if your on this side a Virginia Beach you won't be let down the cooks are full of zeal energy and comedy

I loved the Salmon Teriyaki and the Shrimp Tempura. For a Lunch Special, you get a pretty decent amount of food, I definitely wasn't able to finish it all. I wish I lived closer to this location because I would grab lunch from here pretty often. Lunch is served from 11:30am - 2:30pm and for $20, you definitely can't beat it! Pros: quality of fish compared to many other sushi places around…read more Cons: small cramped space, service and menu We arrived around 1245 and immediately told the older gentleman that we would be a party of 5 (we were waiting on 2 more people). Immediately I could tell he seemed a little annoyed that we were waiting for the rest of our party. In fairness, I would've understood if the place was full but there was only one other party of about 5-6 people and one other person seated by herself. We waited about 10 minutes before the other 2 in our party arrived. In the meantime, we were looking at the menu which was very overwhelming. As we waited, the place filled up fast. They sat a party of 2 right next to us and there had to have been a max of 3" separating our tables. When it was time to order, the server (older gentleman) seemed annoyed that we had questions about the menu. He was very impatient but the noticeable thing was that he was not that way with any of the other patrons. He was joking with them and just being overall friendly and helpful. How do I know? Because the place is that small. And I noticed every interaction he was having. At first I thought it was just me but I assure you it wasn't. So we ordered à la carte sushi as well as a few bento box lunch specials. When the female server (older lady) brought the first order of rolls, she placed it in the middle of the table and when one member of our party (my niece) said 'oh that goes over here' pointing to the area where she and her husband were, the server said 'oh it's all for you' and then proceeded to pull the little serving plates off our table. My niece had to tell her that we would be using the plates - and just like the gentleman she gave us a little attitude and looked annoyed. Did we order a lot of food? Yes. Were we hungry? Yes. Did we eat almost all of it? Again, yes. The only time they changed their tune was after they gave us the bill which was almost $300. They seemed a little less annoyed. We paid and left. My wife enjoyed the freshness of the fish and when I mentioned what I noticed she said 'you felt that too?' I did and I told her that that would be our last time ever eating at there. I would gladly patronize a place with better customer service even if the quality wasn't the best. And no it's not a cultural thing because the servers clearly could be friendly - I saw it with my own two eyes. They just chose who they wanted to be friendly with and provide better service to. Thanks but no thanks - I'll take my business elsewhere.

We decided to give Saruki Japanese Hibachi a try on a weeknight and were seated after only about a five-minute wait. One thing we really enjoyed was having the hibachi table to ourselves. Unlike many hibachi experiences where you're seated with other parties, it was just my family, which made for a more relaxed dinner. Our chef was entertaining without being over the top, and the cooking was done well. The steak and scallops were both cooked perfectly, which we appreciated. The meal came with the standard vegetables, although we noticed there were no bean sprouts, which are common at many hibachi restaurants in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. We also missed the traditional dipping sauces that usually accompany hibachi meals. Instead, we were served a mayo-based sauce that wasn't really to our taste. The staff was happy to provide Sriracha when requested, which helped. Service was decent, and the food was good overall. However, with restaurant prices being what they are today, the experience didn't quite stand out enough for us to make a return visit.
