I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Super Ninja. This has always been one of my go-to spots for dinners, birthdays, and special occasions, but after this visit, I will not be coming back. We had a party of 15 people, yet the chef served us what looked like portions meant for a table of 7. I immediately noticed something was off when there were only about 4 eggs used in the fried rice for the entire table completely unreasonable for that many people. When I spoke up, the chef said he couldn't add more eggs because of "cameras," which made no sense. The attached photo shows my plate after he finished cooking and I hadn't even taken a single bite. The portions were clearly inadequate. I brought this to the server's attention, and she got the manager, Sandy. Unfortunately, he was incredibly rude, dismissive, and at one point even laughed at us while we were trying to explain that we weren't getting the correct portions. That alone was beyond disrespectful. He insisted that they "measure 300 pieces of rice per person" and claimed the cook did nothing wrong. I even showed him multiple plates from our table to prove how small the portions were, but he refused to fix it, saying that's what we ordered. To make matters worse, after our meal, I watched the same chef cook for a table of 7 people using the exact same bowl of rice, the same 4 eggs, and the same amount of noodles. That confirmed what we were saying the entire time, we were completely under-served. Paying $35 per meal and ending up with portions like this is unacceptable and it was nowhere near worth the price. When I mentioned that we come here often, the manager tried to dismiss that by saying he had never seen me before. That was honestly insulting. When I asked for a discount, he refused at first, saying he was "only the kitchen manager." It wasn't until I said I would be leaving a review that he offered a small 10% discount and even then, it was only because he admitted the cook was wrong. Overall, this experience was frustrating, disappointing, and embarrassing, especially in front of a large group. I've been wanting to return to Super Ninja for quite some time so we decided to stop in on a Friday evening around 7pm. Unfortunately, we had to wait 30 mins before being seated which I thought was quite a wait considering the restaurant wasn't packed at all. As soon as we were seated, our server took our food and drink order. I decided on the Super Ninja which included steak, shrimp and chicken and also wanted to try the Sake flight which consisted of Dry, Unfiltered Nigori, Fuji Apple, and Peach Sake. The hibachi chef confirmed our orders before getting started. It's always entertaining to watch them light the grill and put on a show! Our food was prepared fairly quickly and everything tasted pretty good. The steak was more Well Done than Medium, which is what I suggested, but everything else was great and the Sake was very good. We sat next to some pretty fun people as well which also made the dinner even better. As we were leaving, they did apologize for the long wait which I thought was very nice. Love this place! They have the best volcano rolls ever. i moved across the country and travel for a living, and have found nothing comparable, and always visit when I come to visit family. Staff is always very friendly, and love the fact that if you want to do all you can eat sushi you can sit right at the bar, and separate hibachi rooms. They have an extensive menu to order from so we ordered away and everything was so good. I have been searching for good hibachi and FINALLY! Stumbled across this place on Friday afternoon. Restaurant was empty, we were greeted and seated right away. Service was great from the server and cook. Loved the fact that they use garlic in their hibachi( not everyone does ) . Appetizer I had gyoza, had the hibachi steak and chicken and my daughter had the salmon and steak. They also do noodles and rice( SCORE) Everything was delicious. I appreciated the acknowledgment of my daughters shellfish allergy and them adjusting accordingly. I also had a Washington Apple Martini and my friend had a Long Island and they were not stingy on the drinks. Overall restaurant was clean and I can tell they are busy at peak hours. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We came for the AYCE sushi but left with a new favorite dish. The mango chicken dish here is the absolute best thing I have had in a long time. I am not typically a fan of "hot fruit" but I tried it and I was hooked. The sushi is great with a few unique twists and the overall quality is amazing. We came for the food but our waitress was very fun and very funny. The food is great but our waitress made the experience of dining here lively and so different than any other AYCE sushi place that I have ever been to. My family and I came here to celebrate my grandfather's 85 birthday. The staff was patient and friendly considering there were a lot of us (25+). They seated us at two stations close to one another, quickly provided us with menus, and took our drink orders. I ordered the Green Ninja Martini. I forgot to take a pic, but the drink was a bit sweet and syrupy. I wish they added more sake. I ended up with only one drink for the night. After the drinks were served, the chef arrived to prepare the food we ordered while giving us a nice show. The food and service were pretty decent. The food is served hot and fresh. I've ordered take out from here a few times and it's been okay so I came in with my family. OUR SERVER WAS A 10/10 the establishment was a 0/10. We were a party of 6. It was a special occasion and we made a reservation for 6:30 right when they opened at 11 since it was a Saturday and we knew they would be busy. Now with this particular visit. I took my daughter to lunch and it was just us and another two guests. Our server wasn't very friendly but we weren't worried. We were hungry. Now to the food. The portion is incredibly small even for a lunch portion. I've been to several hibachI places for lunch and dinner and this is by far the smallest portion. Never happened. Bartender told us they had to make drinks first and would get to us when they could. Seated at table, waitress came, no hello, good evening, my name is...., the ONLY time we saw the waitress was taking our orders, brought first drinks, brought soup. Never came to our table again until bringing the check. Never asked about more drinks, even though we were all sitting there with empty glasses most of the meal. Never asked about dessert. After she brought soup we sat there for 27 minutes with no contact from anyone before chef showed up. They were not busy. Several open tables. As far as food, used to be soup and salad. No more salad due to expense. Could order a salad, but no one informed us of the option. It's always been a part of the dinner. Portions less. Fried rice had no vegetables. Raise the prices a few bucks and quit cutting back on quality and quantity. Then they automatically added 20% gratuity. Definitely not worth a $52 tip. And I have no problem with automatic gratuity and always tip at least 20-25% tip. But I expect at least decent service. So very disappointed. Looking for new hibachi place! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Our family dined here one night and as I watched the overweight chef preparing our food, he was sweating profusely and I witnessed the sweat drop off the end of his nose right onto the food he was cooking at our table. I am soooo very pleased with the experience we had tonight with our party of 16 for my mother-in-laws birthday celebration. We had tried to go to shoguns originally but they were not accommodating even with a reservation. (I'll have a review for them). So we called ninja and they were so friendly over the phone and in person. We had to wait a little bit but it was so worth it. Especially with us making a short notice trip with such a large party. This is hands-down the best I've had in the 757. It is also the only hibachi restaurant that offers noodles as well as rice. There may be other restaurants that offer this, I just haven't been to them. I called about a week in advance to reserve space for 15 people, as my son wanted to do this for his birthday. After I paid the bill, I then realized that if I had checked in on yelp I would have saved some money. I hate it when that happens. I need to remember to always get on Yelp before doing anything. I was just too caught up in the moment. Anyway, I got the same thing I always get and that is the hibachi combo. It includes shrimp, steak and chicken. I had some sushi as well, and I am very particular with what type of sushi that I eat. Pretty basic, shrimp tempura, add cream cheese. It was pretty busy, and I didn't feel rushed when it was time for me to ask them to bring out my sons birthday cake. You Honest review of the Nylo Plano Tx Hotel. Booked the King Room with the floor to ceiling windows. Price was right around 175.00 a night. Hotel is relatively new but seems very unfinished. The decor is minimalistic (if that's your style). Exposed concrete everywhere's Checkin was chaotic. Front desk was unable to locate the reservation. Tried to charge me again but that was cleared up with the confirmation email. There is just a really cold feel to the place. Well since my last review of going to super ninja; I had symptoms of food poisoning! it was really bad where I could not leave home. knowing I was very unsatisfied about this service here, the quality of food, and the fact that they wanted to charge me gratuity knowing I was not in a group of six or more, than to have food poisoning it's only right that I gave them this new rating . I sure hope that they don't compensate quality to cut corners but based on my first visit and the aftermath I highly doubt I would return back. Having compared my latest visit to a Japanese restaurant in the area ...this restaurant cuts of fish and food preparations are extremely alarming! To add I had to get my mother involved to dispute with them their charge on my check for gratuity. If based on the policy 18% is charged for groups 6 or more.. I was in the right and they shouldn't have to argue with me if they were abiding by policy. I just want people to be advised that they should eat at their own risk. Since the demise of our usual hibachi and covid, we have not found a good replacement...til today. Super Ninja popped up with good food reviews so we decided to give it a try. Yes, the items are in the $20 plus range, but you pay for what you get. Soup, salad, rice, noodles, veggies come with every hibachi. Then, throw in your choice of protein, you have a very large meal.
