*Part 2 Of 2* Experiencd On 9/28/24 Written on 5/3/25…read moreTHE MASSAGE EXPERIENCE: Since I had two hours of time on my hands, Jessica Quigley took her time and worked on my neck and shoulders through the towel. This was only the preliminaries and she worked her way down my body using pressure; as well, as being up on the massage table to do this. I like it when massage therapist climb onto the table to apply direct pressure to the parts of the body that are full of tension. My right shoulder was giving me problems. At the time I don't believe I figured out the name of the issue I was having. Nevertheless, Quigley worked on my shoulders and it felt great with steady pressure. In case you are wondering what is going on with my shoulder, the problem is called Frozen Shoulder. Eventually, the preliminaries came to an end, but the massage did not. Jessica Quigley dismounted from the table and introduced massage oil to my skin. Quigley kept up the massage with steady pressure using the massage oil at will. Yes, she used a great amount of it, but my skin seemed to absorb a lot of it. Guess my skin was drier than I thought Quigley's thoroughness continued as she reached my lower back and gluteus maximus area. Through some small talk during my massage, Jessica Quigley inquired about tips. I told her in short "she was earning her tip already." My answer pleased Jessica Quigley as she continued my massage. The gluteus maximus was massaged and the oil came on thick. I did not care, because this wasn't anything new to me. Hot towels could be used at the end of the massage; however, paper towels are my preferred method. Jessica Quigley ended up removing the towel when she went to work on my glutes. I could only see her from the side, but her eyes and smile seemed to look much more alert and happy as she started started the glutes massage. Firm pressure of pressing down on my butt to, squeezing, slapping, and caressing that massage therapist do. I don't know all of the proper terminology for these techniques, but I think you get the point. Speaking of points, Jessica Quigley used pressure points the top of my buttocks, sides of my buttocks and between my cheeks. This is something not all places do. I will say, it makes one hell of a difference when this is done; as well, as leaving a lasting impression in my mind. Legs were massaged and Jessica Quigley continued using steady pressure all the way down my legs. Let's not forget about the foot. The feet were massaged too. If I had fallen asleep, I would have missed out on the rest of my massage. Turning over, Jessica Quigley, started up again with the oil massaging my neck and chest. Using different methods of soft massage, Jessica Quigley worked her way down to my stomach. I have been to some places that would not massage the chest, stomach, glutes or thighs, which caused for a horrible experience. Luckily, this wasn't an issue at Evergreen Massage. Quigley used some pressure points on my stomach. When done right, it can help clear out the unwanted food that can stick to your intestines. Time does fly when you're having fun. Two hours came and went. Jessica Quigley ended up using paper towels for the removal of extra oil on my body. I have found some massage places don't have hot towels in the massage room. On occasions some hot towels have a moldy smell to them. This is why I prefer paper towels, even if there is a hot towel machine in the room. I don't remember the exact cost of my massage, but it was worth every penny and it was under $160 with tip. I reccomend stopping by here and giving it a go

EDIT: Does not respond to inquiries into their business practice. Trying to send clients to collection while taking no initiative to resolve issue. In 26 days, the bill jumped from $180 to a whopping $339.48, only with an additional mysterious "re-billing fee" and a dramatic scare to send you to collection. I think we all know what that is. That's how their billing department operates. ORIGINAL COMMENT: First thing first, the massage professionals there were great. I had a great experience with Amy and Richard. Environment was not very professional. You see kids running around, and people operates with more motel like management. (and the feel of the office too) Now why is this a 1 star business? I had a terrible experience with the the billing of this business. I called ahead and asked them about whether my insurance will be covered. They didn't say it definitely will but asserted with confidence that they work with Aetna all the time and I don't need a doctor's note for that. Ok, great! I scheduled two sessions in the next two weeks. On my second visit, when I just enjoyed a wonderful massage and walking out, they informed me oh sorry your plan is not covered.. Here's some packages that might lower the cost blah blah... Four weeks later I got my startling $180 for the service. I called and asked why don't you tell me about the fact that my insurance was not covering the cost at least before my second visit. She claimed that's how she works and she's busy (she sounds much nicer than the words but that's basically what she meant). Since insurance was the only reason I chose them, this is a big deal. For $90 a session, there's a tons of wonderful places that I could've gone to instead of this location. She's nice enough to hold a conversation albeit she does not budge on any ground. She thinks she did a perfect job and sorry if I'm not happy with the bill. Nothing she could've done better. I said: "As a customer, I expect you to clearly tell me what my cost would be given the fact that you claim that there's a chance that the insurance wouldn't work right?" She would only stress on the fact that I didn't check with my insurance to make sure that it's covered. There's absolutely nothing better they could've done. The fact that I was informed that my insurance does not cover the cost while walking out of the second session make the entire experience really scam-my. Feeling like being baited by the insurance claim they made.

She is a great masseuse with strong hands and isn't afraid to get into the deep tissue if that's what you need. She is very knowledgeable about the body, muscles, tissue, etc. and will massage you as needed (sorry freaks, no Happy Endings here). I love her sense of humor, and she has a great laugh. If talking isn't your thing she will let you fall asleep too! I've fallen asleep many times. She's hard to get an appointment with because she is booked in advance, so be flexible when calling to request an appointment. She takes medical insurance which is a bonus. I highly recommend Evergreen and am shocked this is the first review.

I scheduled my first massage 3 weeks ago. I arrived 10 minutes early, just to make sure I didn't…read morekeep the massage therapist waiting. I see a therapist walk in the door 10 minutes later. At this point, there's only the receptionist, the therapist and myself in the whole office, so of course I assume she is my massager therapist for that appointment. (she was) 15 minutes later she comes out and apologizes for not realizing that my appointment started 15 minutes ago. She thought it started a half hour later than it did. Ok fine, it happens. After the appointment, the therapist doesn't give me any guidance on how often I should be coming in (it was for a medical condition), and the receptionist does NOT offer to schedule my next appointment. Confused, I say I'll call to make my next appointment. I finally get around to calling a week and a half later, and I make an appointment for the following Tuesday at 10am. I receive a follow up call the Friday before to confirm, which I do. I call again on Tuesday, because I didn't put it on my calendar for some reason. The receptionist basically tells me "what appointment?" Now I know I scheduled SOMETHING with a therapist by the name of Kyle, but she shows absolutely NOTHING on her calendar for that week, or even last week (I asked in case I had the week wrong). She then tells me that Kyle has an opening the next day at the same time (10-11am). I tell her I'll take it. I show up at 9:45am the next day and I sit there. She says hello, but doesn't ask me about my appointment or anything. 5 minutes later Kyle walks in. (I know it's him because she calls him by name). He goes into the office and starts doing whatever it was he was doing. At 10am he walks out, and into a massage room, again fiddling with something. Not a word to me about the appointment or anything. Not an "I'll be right with you" or anything. At this point another client walks in and sits down. at 10:07 (still 7 minutes past the appointment time) Kyle walks out of the massage room, and calls the other client in! Ummm......what?!! I ask the receptionist "who I am scheduled with? I thought it was with Kyle?" To which she replies "from 11-12." Say what? And you couldn't have told me this earlier? Did you think I just really wanted to wait in your lovely waiting room for over an hour? I tell her I can't do that appointment time, so just cancel it. She says "ok. sorry." Seriously. That's all you've got to say to me? Never ever going there again. I get that mistakes happen, but the Customer Service STILL has to be there. I expect to be greeted by the receptionist, and asked my name so she can verify my appointment. I expect that if you have a client scheduled at 10am, and you're NOT ready at that time, that you go to the client and say at the very least "I'll be with you in a few minutes." I expect that if someone comes in for a medical appointment, that the therapist at the very least tells the client the best treatment of that condition, such as "we should probably see you 2-3 times a week for a few weeks and see if you see any improvement." and I certainly expect the receptionist to at least ASK me if I'd like to schedule my next appointment before I leave their office, because let's face it, how many people are going to proactively call YOU to schedule something? If you want my business, you should probably be scheduling my next appointment right after my current appointment.
