I stopped in here for a quick lunch. Portions were great and the flavors were amazing! I will be adding this to my Lunchtime meals.

I kept suggesting we go there one night for dinner and finally on a bustling Saturday evening we did! We were asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside and we chose outside so we could listen to the music and enjoy the ambience. We perused the menu and decided to start with a cocktail. I ordered "the Unicorn" which is described as having "assorted fruit liquor" and the server told me they were out of the fruit liquor. So I went with Robert's dew, while my bf got the Dragonberry mojito. Our drinks arrived fairly quickly and they were decent. We decided to start with the cheesesteak egg rolls as an app and for our entrees I did the crab cakes and he did the fried chicken. The egg rolls were also served very quickly, but it was at this moment we realized we had no silverware or napkins while everyone around us had cloth napkins on their laps. We managed to flag down our server and asked for napkins. She came back with cocktail napkins. It was our fault for not explaining we did not have silverware either, but our table was bare so we didn't realize we needed to be more specific. The egg rolls were served with a spicy ketchup, and were hot and delicious, with fried onions and a crispy coated outer shell. When our entrees arrived we still didn't manage to get silverware but the person delivering our food brought it over quickly. Now it's at this point I should mention I'm quite the foodie, who not only dines out frequently but also loves to cook. My crab cakes were a little on the "fishy" side and lacked flavor. All of the flavor was on the lemon aioli they were served with. That being said, they were definitely filled with crab and didn't seem to contain much filler. They just need some additional seasoning. The risotto it was served with could also use seasoning as well. My bfs fried chicken was served with French fries, Cole slaw, and corn bread. I tasted it and would give it all a 3/5 rating. Not bad at all, but nothing to rave about. It was on the dry side and again lacked flavor. We were considering dessert since we saw there were a few cookie style skillets when we looked up the menu in advance, but we were on the fence about if we should. When our server didn't ask if we wanted dessert we opted to skip it this time. Overall, the ambience is fun and it's a great place for a drink and apps with friends. The flatbread pizza seemed to be the star of the show and I think next time we will order from the sandwich, burger, or pizza menu rather than a full on dinner. Our server was HUSTLING and may have had a few tables inside too, which can be stressful, plus the restaurant was busy. We will come back and try again.

I absolutely love this Popeyes location!…read more There's always parking available, which makes it super convenient. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and the noise level is average, nothing overwhelming. The workers are consistently nice, engaging, and very helpful. Service is always quick, and if they ever make a small mistake, they fix it right away with no hassle. Tonight, Camilla was especially kind and patient while helping me use my rewards. she was very engaging and made the experience nice. I have the ghost pepper wings. They didn't put the spice all over. It was just sprinkled on some of the chicken so that was a little annoying, but they were still hot and good. You could tell the oil is clean, They allow me to get all flats. I love that no up charge even better!; and mac & cheese. I actually bypass the Popeyes closer to my house just to come to this one. Definitely my go-to location!

I pulled up and ordered the Championship Lineup and was confused that the entire meal was for ONLY $12.99. The price is well worth the spend, so Popeyes quickly had a friend. Ratings for the Championship Lineup: Garlic Wings -7/10 Concha Roll Chicken Sandwich-8/10 Spicy Strawberry Hibiscus Mocktail-9/10 The wings will make you cluck for a buck. The chicken sandwich will make you roll for donut holes...and the spicy mocktail has a slow burn, but a quick turn! Oh my!!!!!!! First time coming to West Ave Grille after driving and walking by it for many many years…read more Always seemed to hear great things about it, so wanted to see what the hype was really about. Ordered the Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes and TBA Wrap (Turkey, Bacon Avocado). The pancakes were amazing and I loved the crisp edges and how the flavor permeated through all the layers. Really crushed these! The wrap was also good, very fresh and the waffle fries were nice. Overall a great experience and great service and vibes within the restaurant. Only complaint would be it is a little pricey but assume that's due to their playing off their Food Network "fame" maybe. Definitely will still go back to try some more items!

Excellent food. Wait time varies depending on when you go…read more We were first told it would be about 20 mins for a table for two which was fine, we weren't in a rush. The problem is when the hostess shift changed, we seemed to have gotten lost on the waitlist, ended up with a longer wait and had to check-in and it was only then that we were seated. Decor and ambiance is nice, it's inviting, clean and the staff is friendly. I do think they could benefit from additional staff. The waitress who took our order was not who ended up bringing us our meal. It might have been the manager when he noticed we had been waiting a while. I appreciated that it didn't go unnoticed but with this being such a popular brunch spot they could use additional staff. The food was well worth the wait. Pure deliciousness. Grits nice and creamy and lightly seasoned so you can enjoy any additions such as the fried chicken or seafood. The price point is to be expected for the times we are in so that was cool and within reason to me. The only thing I did find slightly unreasonable was that ONE biscuit cost $5! And it was small. Feels like you should at least get two for that price given the small size. It can be hard finding parking even with the paid lots in the area and meter parking on the street but if you ride around long enough you'll find a spot. Even with the few nits I'd say this is a great brunch spot, delicious food and friendly staff. I'll be back!

We were seated after the hostess had a discussion with the server about the tables being clean while we stood there. We sat in the main dining room in the back, at a small booth, along the right side wall closer to the bar. We sat down to look at our menus. We sat, and sat, and sat. Despite there being three servers who walked by us over a period of about 10-15 minutes, no one acknowledged us at all. One of the servers, an older woman with short hair, dropped a to-go container on the floor, then picked it up and gave it to people to use. Gross! We finally gave up and got up to leave because we were tired of waiting. The same server said, "Sorry." as we passed her. The menu prices are expensive. A side dinner salad was $12. I don't mind paying for quality food and service but this place was a mess based on the service alone, or lack thereof. I would never return to this location and do not recommend it. Getting out of the parking lot to go onto 611 is a nightmare too.
