The grilled cheese satisfied my craving, it was more than what I wanted! I just wish they had other chocolate options besides the cookies & cream shake. My husband gobbled down his burger very quickly so it's safe to say it was also delicious. Nylah brought out our food and was super sweet and attentive to whatever we needed! The 10% that fell short was a combination of things. 1) menu online and the physical menu said corn bread (which we were told no longer serves them). If its no longer available, update the menu because we were excited to try the corn bread. 2) a bbq place with no wet naps, that is really weird. However, they did bring me a stack of paper towels that were wet as if they were wet naps. 3) only 1 steak knife was provided in the platters. Took a while for us to get any help. We eventually flagged down our server after what felt like 5 minutes. We brought the charge to our servers attention, and they corrected that too. Overall, the table service could have been a lot better, fix broken tables, and I suggest you bring your own wet naps or baby wipes because they dont supply any.

Minus this one star! Jan 28, 2017 This had to be the worst burger I have ever tried to eat. The fries where old refried, awful...trashed. The burger first off it was the sloppiest and nastiest burger in my history of eating burgers. The bun was wet had no mayo, no mustard & no dressing both buns were not dressed and were dry, *(See my photo of the buns.) The lettuce was old wilted kind a brownish color, got rid it frist thing. The tomato was unriped, got rid of it too. The cheese well, it was stuck to the paper wrapper not good like Tommy's, where you can peel it off and put back on your burger so I had a cheese burger with no cheese, rip off...paid extra for the cheese too. The meat was burnt smaller than that huge bun, lol was nothing like the yelp photos? The meat had no salt no seasoning of any kind it was just dried out burnt meat? I tried to cover it up in a ton of Sriracha chile, it did not work. We were so disappointed in ourselves we once again broke our own rule....buy 1 thing share it before you waste money when going to a new place.....if it truly good go back & buy more food. What a waste of $19.00, we do not recommend or will be repeat customers. Move on to the next review. Good thing I had business to take care and did not make the trip just to try this place out. Son, had made a comment and now thinking about it, it makes a lot of sense. Most of the Yelp photos are old and maybe the staff today are new Owners? They did not have a lot of the food items and the lady was very unfriendly no smile, no thank you, no F$@#& you.....no nothing she was not feeling it today. I'm writing this review just after trying Super Burger's double cheeseburger combo for the first time. I've lived in the north Pasadena area now for the past 2 years, and I always drove by Super Burger on the way home. Last week, I finally tried their teriyaki chicken bowl. Asian couple, so I thought, asian food. Nothing spectacular.. not bad, not good, just kind of a generic plate. When I was leaving though, the nice Korean lady there told me, try our burger next time, it's really good. So following Andrew Zimmern's advice of "you gotta try it twice", I went today and ordered what was recommended, the double cheeseburger combo. When I got home and opened my box, I knew I was in for a treat. Let me say, this burger may topple the top spot for favorite burger for me. First of all, the burger is humongous. Their double paddies are like a Carl's Jr. Super Star with cheese but with an extra paddy of beef! It comes with a helping of fresh fries that are about double a large size fries at most fast food joints. What made it win for me was, the burger was actually very good, the meat was cooked just right, fresh, hot, and very juicy. With a few jalapenos and a large drink, it came to $7 even, which I'll gladly pay again when the burger craving hits. I wish i can give this place a 0 star review, but the "owner's son" at the register has the worst attitude ever! Don't waste your time if you want to be disrespected. Learn how to maintain good customer service and maybe this review would be better. As of now, the owner needs to get on his employees about their attitude. I asked a question with what does the meal include and he told me to "just read the sign" in a very rude and nasty tone. I've heard many other complaints from people about his attitude in the past as well, I sincerely hope the owner reads this. Message to the owners son: Hey, you work at an establishment that deals with people right? yeah, learn how to be respectful and not treat people like they're trash. BLATANTLY RACIALLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST Just experienced discrimination at it's highest. Me and my family just went to this place an ordered food, but before doing so the lady owner rudely, told me to step back from the corner which I wasn't even close to and then directly to pull my face mask up more before even speaking to me to take my order. 1 moment later when my son went to the counter to pay for condiments, she treated him the EXACT same way. Then not even 3mins later a white guy walks up with NO mask AT ALL walks DIRECTLY up to the window and begins ordering his food. Best bang for the buck food in the area. The burger is huge and super filling. I barely get through the entire thing when I eat here. I love customizing my burgers. Usually I add avocado or teriyaki beef. They don't skimp on these either and always add huge amounts of avocado and beef. Definitely a hole in the wall place that is becoming a mainstay whenever I'm in Pasadena. Pass up on the overpriced stuff on Colorado Boulevard and eat here!! If you're not in the mood for a burger, I would suggest the fish tacos or the breakfast burrito. Both of these are good choices, but for a first timer, a burger is a must read more

This place doesn't get any credit for their incredible teriyaki! I wonder if it's because the place is called Super Burger lol! If you're a chicken teriyaki lover, you have to try theirs! It's amazing! They actually only provide white meat which is the best! You won't have to pick through dark/fatty meat, which in my opinion is pretty gross. They also serve their plate with steamed rice and steam veggies like broccoli and carrots. So bomb! My go-to teriyaki place, especially I want something with "less guilt" but filling :) read more

This place must be using msg or something cuz their burgers is shockingly good. In-n-out is the standard by which all burgers are measured by, plain and simple. So how does SB measure...? We were visiting our daughter in Pasadena. We kept driving by this Super Burger place. So after a long morning of sightseeing, we thought we would give it a try.The burgers were big, fresh, flavorful and very juicy. The burgers and fries were very hot and delicious. If you want a fantastic avocado burger or bacon burger, this is the place for you. Open air (outside) seating is all that is available, but there is little traffic at their location, so this is not an issue (unless it is very hot or quite cold). Seating is limited, so don't bring a large group, unless you take your group to the park, which is fairly close. The fries are some of the best I've tasted. read more
