Last year we had a water heater installed by QP Plumbing. There was one part of the installation that was overlooked and caused us some issues. When I told Oscar, he took complete accountability and offered to give us monetary compensation. I told him if he could just provide us with a credit on future service that would be great. Fast forward to present day, we had leak with one of our pipes. Oscar was able to come immediately to diagnose the issue and got his crew here the next day to get the issue resolved. Oscar did in fact give me the credit we had discussed over a year ago which I appreciated. I certainly plan to use QP Plumbing for any of my plumbing needs moving forward and I would highly recommend them.

Decided to give these guys a try so called them and was able to make a same day appointment. Robert texted ahead of time and arrived within the arrival window. He was very nice, answered all my questions, and fixed 1/4 problems we had. One other issue he says could not be fixed and another he could not find a problem to fix. For the last problem, he said he to see if he could get the part and that he would get back to me. If he made an effort to reach out I missed it and as far as I know he never followed up. Since I was surprised that a special part was needed, I went out to get my own part and will try to fix it myself later. He did fix the main issue we called him out for. Given the mixed experience, I will likely try one of the many other eager plumbers who contacted me on Yelp and give one of them a try in the future, but I will not be opposed to using WR again.

The technician showed up a hour late and said that they would be able to unclog the drain for us at a discounted rate of $300, but added that "it will drain better but can't guarantee how significantly better." That concerned us but we thought fine, as long as our bathtub drains normally. To our concern, the technician struggled to the point where he had to call in another technician for assistance. He then could not replace the screw on our faceplate, stating that the hole was stripped, and just left it as it is! We were concerned but he assured us that this new hole won't create any leaks and that any water that gets through the hole would just go down the drain. However, this now creates the new problem - we can't take any baths because this new hole drains our bath water. Now we have to hire someone else to replace the faceplate. Two stars for clearing the drain, -3 stars for creating another problem and just leaving it. **Edit: my roommate called to complain, especially since the technician told her it would be a $700 2-man job to replace the screw. They sent the manager over. He managed to place the screw back with some 409. They gave a 30 day warranty if the drain backs up again. 4 stars, minus 1 only because we shouldn't have to go through this ridiculous song and dance in order to finish the job we paid for.
