Absolutely awful! When I first walked in I noticed coffee spots on the front entrance floor. They did allow me to check in an hour early. I walked up to the second floor because they have no elevators. My room was dirty! There were bugs, hair in drawers, some red gunk in the jacuzzi and just a mess. The front desk moved me to a different room which was no better. Even the fridge was dirty. This time she had to come with me to verify. A housekeeping staff asked what the issue was and she replied "oh you know" in a sarcastic eye rolling way. I moved the blankets back to look at the bed and was told that it needed to stop happening because now housekeeping would have to come back in...so they weren't going to come back in and clean the two nasty rooms? She walked away in the middle of helping me and the new person asked if I dirtied the room (seriously!) They also apparently already charged my card and a refund would take 3-5 business days. This was absolutely awful because we were in town for the polar Express and this about ruined our trip. I would never stay here again! For $100.00, I expect something clean!

Exciting view.

Stopped here for the night while traveling to Georgia. Room was really nice and the breakfast bar was perfect for a grab and go breakfast

It was in a quiet area, with a seafood restaurant within walking distance and a gas station near the road. The front desk clerk was very friendly and even provided more dining options. I had dropped my phone earlier in the day, and the screen was smashed, so she let me use some scotch tape to try to keep my phone operational for the rest of my trip. I was given a room on the top floor and even provided extra towels in my profile request. Sorry, I didn't get very many photos here, but I was trying not to use my phone as much. The hotel is older, but it was clean and functional. The lobby was large and had a bistro that offered dinner and breakfast. I'd return again if I was in the area as it provided a good night of sleep and reliable wifi.

The staff of the Courtyard went above and beyond to make guests as comfortable as possible during this weather event. Extra comforters were handed out, and as the ice rained down, baked goodies were placed in baskets on the bar for everyone. The employees did everything they could to make a difficult event an enjoyable stay. This had to have been particularly difficult with a skeleton staff. I am especially appreciative for the bistro employees who talked with dad for hours as he told stories. The breakfast was fantastic here too! It is worth it to book your room with the breakfast package. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. They really put an effort into taking care of their guests!

Site asked for a passcode or payment. Front desk gave me a passcode to try but got a message "password expired." I was given a chance to PAY for the free Internet access. It was getting late so I gave up: no Internet after wasting an hour of my valuable sleep time. Toilet had permanent black streaks similar to those produced by excess manganese in untreated well water. Looked forward to breakfast, hoping for decent coffee and some healthy fresh fruit. Coffee was bad instant, dishwater-weak, spewed from a push-button machine; no bananas, no apples. Tired of the new Choice Hotels' cheap, nickel and diming to bleed the "guest." To me, that kind of treatment indicates complete contempt for the customer. as a business customer I had important work to do before I slept. Went to bed angry: no Internet, no stay, ever again.

The only positive was the decent breakfast they had. Hot breakfast, not continental. Waffles, sausages, eggs, biscuits. The beds were HARD. Hard as a . Room service did not clean our room after the first night, we stayed two nights. The outlets did not work in the main areas of the room which was frustrating to plug in our electronics. You obviously get what you paid for. Disappointed in the customer service with housekeeping and the amenities of the room.

I normally would not try a location with such a low star rating, but thought I'd give them a shot---DONT DO IT.....I requested a late check out and the lady at front desk acted like I was asking for a free day---everything was old--and filthy--but the final straw was watching a young mother make a waffle and juice to take to her special needs son and was chastized and refused the ability to leave with the food for her son---she was so upset she threw the food away-----sad sad sad-----I'm glad I have the power to deny them this lucrative opportunity-----moving on to a better option right now. For my trip, I didn't see options close enough to where I needed to be, even at a somewhat higher price point. That said, in skimming the reviews, I agree with all of them. I didn't see prostitutes out, but I wasn't out late, either. The rooms are, in fact, very unclean. The toilet lid connection to the porcelain was rusted out. The toilet/shower walls were peeling, moldy, and gross. The maintenance of the hotel gets a big, fat 0 throughout - including the room, all outdoor surfaces, the lobby, EVERYTHING. I've stayed in some shady, cheap motels, but this may have been the worst ever. Note to self: never again.

So the owner tricked us and lied to us to get a room 2 days early because he said it would probably be taken by now. It's a ghost town here. So he got us with that..... Now I get get to the room and outside is my $30 indoor donkeytail plant damaged from the cold air. So I'm not happy but whatever. I grab the plant and bring it in. 3 minutes later the owner's wife comes over to the door and pounds on the door and I answer. She yells at me "no plant." I said "excuse me?" She yelled again "no plant!" So I sighed and asked "why can't I have a plant?" She didn't understand English. She replied "you come talk manager." So I walk to the check in desk, she unlocks the door and says "manager not here now, go wait room." So I waited 30 minutes outside in the cold for the manager and he didn't come, so my girlfriend called the manager/owner Harsh. Harsh said "I be there 30 minute" to my girlfriend. So I'm even angrier at this point and just go into the room, take the plant out, and give it to my girlfriend's mother and she takes it and leaves. Harsh then calls 30 minutes later to the room and, according to my girlfriend, after she says "Hello?" he yells "What is problem?! You no like room, get out!". She goes on to calmly explain to him the plant is gone. Finally after 5 minutes he understands the plant is gone. So we have the issue of why the cleaning people came and the owner removed the plant, but no one emptied the 2 trash bins. In broken English, Harsh explains that they don't do anything to the room unless you are there, including cleaning. What?! Cleaning is from 12 to 2 pm, We are at our jobs! Rediculous! Anyways they have rules and the rules say nothing about plants (I'm posting the picture), none of the staff speaks English and they are rude people with anger issues and they don't clean the rooms or make the bed or anything unless you are there in the room. Terrible. Worst weekly hotel I've ever been to. I would give this negative stars if I could. Edit: I forgot to mention - the room had drawers that were filled with cigarette ashes! No one obviously checked this room to see if it was clean. Also, the room walls are FILTHY stained with cigarette smoke and various liquids which I didn't notice until we turned all the lights on in this room. NEW UPDATE 12/23/2014 I checked out today and left my ID in the room. I didn't realize this until I checked into my new hotel a few miles away. When I went back, I walked into the room because it was being cleaned. Harsh, the owner, looked at me and said hello. I explained my ID was probably in the room and I'd like to look for it. He said OK. I looked around and didn't see it on or under the nightstand, so I began to go through the sheet and blanket. Harsh yelled "Don't touch! These new sheets!" I said "Okay." and backed up. He then yelled "I call police! I call police!" and then the cleaning lady from across the street comes over and says I stole all the linen from the room and tells Harsh to call the police. I yelled back at them explaining I wanted my ID and he kept calling me a "Thief" and "Liar." The cleaning lady also did the same thing. Anyways I got infuriated and said "Fine call the cops!" and I got in the car and left. These people are complete, utter low-life scum. THEY stole my Driver's License and claimed I stole their linen..... These people are insane lunatics who steal and then claim you stole and kick you off their property with the help of police (fortunately I left before they got there, even though I did nothing wrong). STAY AWAY FROM THIS 'HOTEL'!!!
