Super 8 by Wyndham Murfreesboro - Waffle with Butter, Syrup and Orange Juice - Hotels Near Me - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

We booked this room for 3 nights and paid about $300.00.. I saw something crawling and I looked to see what it. It was about 2 to 3 bed bugs. My friend went down stairs to request a new room. Maybe an hour or 2 later either the manager or whoever this female was came upstairs knocking on the door asking to see the bed bug. She was mad because we asked to change rooms, when we could of asked for a whole refund. She than decided to tell us to be quiet while speaking to her. She was very disrespectful and unprofessional. She said we will be okay we leave tomorrow. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY read more

A good hotel for the price. I travel frequently for business and have stayed here twice. Nothing special, but a solid value for the price.

The first room was disgusting, the bed had something nasty on it between the box spring and the bed frame. The bed shirt would not even come loose for the funky substance that was on it. The front desk staff moved us to the next room after inspecting it. The ice machine on the top floor was out of order. I don't recommend staying here. We ordered pizza to be delivered and 3 different places refused because their drivers had been robbed at this location. Boy did that make me feel safe!!! Not at all! Find a hotel away from this side of town. read more

Really awesome for the price. Clean & spacious room. Excellent value in this area. We avoided staying in Nashville, because the hotel rooms were jacked up by $120+. So glad we did because this room was quite, inexpensive, and very high quality. Recently refurbished, within the last 6 weeks. Thank you for providing a nice place at a decent price. read more

My family has stayed here 3 times and have always had a pleasant stay. We travel to see family in Illinois every few years and this seems to be about the point we get to day one of our drive. The rooms are almost like little suites, the sitting space is divided from the beds by a little wall or an archway. Rooms are clean. There little things like chips in paint, scuffs on tables but I always felt clean and safe. Breakfast is waffles(someone said frozen waffles, but we had a waffle iron), cereal, bagles, yogurt, toast, sausage, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. There is a Arbys next door. KFC close by. Target, Chick-Fil-A, McD's, Panera within a few blocks. read more

This was a step up from the Super 8s we have stayed at... The towels weren't chinsey but they definitely weren't fluffy. The bed felt clean, but it was a cold night and the comforter felt like slick canvas and not warm or fluffly... No extra blanket. And it wasn't the motel's fault but it was SUPER LOUD all night with trucks parking in the co-located parking lot... Diesel trucks running, etc. UGH. I really liked the floor because it wasn't carpet... It was some kind of nice looking laminate but at least no nasty carpet. The room was clean. Breakfast was ho-hum but they did have waffles for my husband so he was happy. No hot food but waffles and oatmeal, no hard boiled eggs, no meat but that's what we have experienced at Super 8s so weren't surprised. I probably would have rated this more of an average 3 but you know me... I'm big on customer service and little things. Iona, the front desk lady who was there when we got there was awesome!! I was more tired than hungry, so passed on going out to supper. I exchanged a room decaf coffee for a regular and she gave me 4. :). She also said that she made fresh coffee and there was tea, hot chocolate, etc. I just got a little coffee and a tea bag and had coffee and tea in the room. Iona was very kind and what made our stay special. She deserves to be commended. read more

My wife and I needed a place to shower and sleep on a drive from Illinois to Florida. We stopped at this Super 8 just because it was there. Check-in was very quick and easy, and the woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. After check-in, we parked our car and went up to our room, passing several people standing outside their rooms smoking. When we got to the room, everything was nice and clean. The AC had been on, so the room was cool and comfortable. We cleaned up, hopped in bed, and turned out the lights. Here's where the problem started. My wife has slight asthma, enough to need an inhaler from time to time. Cigarette smoke can severely affect her, and she starts coughing. People stand outside their rooms (therefore, outside of our room) and smoke, and the AC unit is directly in front of them. I know these units have filters, but our room definitely reeked of cigarette smoke which sent my wife into a coughing fit. More than that, they stand outside talking and laughing, so it was a rough night's sleep. I wish there was more of a process of keeping smokers on one side of the property and non-smokers on the other. This is why I only gave it 3 stars. read more

Pros: -Centrally located: Target, Starbucks, Babies R Us, food, food, more food! -Not far from Nashville -They serve breakfast (AKA frozen waffles) -Clean -Roomy - Quiet Cons: - A little expensive for what you get. - Breakfast includes quick items: frozen waffles etc. - Some of the towels smelled like insect repellant read more

We are required to give at least one star. You know that right? This "hotel" was by far the most awful place I could have imagined sleeping. Traveling through TN to head home from Florida we were willing to stay in a hotel on blind Yelp trust. We were proven wrong. How this establishment has achieved any more than one star is unreal. The outside of the building and grounds were filthy. When checking in, the nice hotel employee explained that even he has been scammed by the scam artists who book the rooms for his hotel at the 800 number. That should have been my indicator of the level of business this is. When I opened the door I was greeted by a dirty old smoke smell even though the room boasted non smoking. I walked around to look at the room before having my family come in from the car. After looking at the bed, which I do at every hotel we stay in, I found this bug between the top and fitted sheet. The bathroom: dirty, missing a part off the bottom showing the rust and filth from previous occupants. The door: sticky inside and out from who knows what substance. The bed area: extra holes in the walls, some look like pictures had fallen some were totally unidentifiable. Through the door we could hear the people next door ordering from jack in the box. The sink area had water leaking from the faucet and rings from water damage. The carpet was the dirtiest floor I have ever seen. Anywhere. Stains, snags, items on the floor, no evidence of ever having been cleaned ever. Possibly the most unreal part was after having decided to leave and just lose the money we paid, seeing a woman in a hooded sweatshirt approach the door right next to the door where my kids would have been sleeping. She had her hood up, was clutching a bottle of some type of alcohol and knocked on the door and was pulled inside quickly with an abrupt door slam. Totally not sure what exactly was happening but I am certain it was unsavory. We stayed in Murfreesboro with a friend's brother and had a great breakfast this morning where we learned the police scanner called out to dispatch officers to the Super 8. Maybe they were able to help that lady. read more

Super 8 by Wyndham Murfreesboro - This was in the bed when I pulled back the covers. - Hotels Near Me - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

I travel a ton around this country and stay at many different type hotels. I will say this is the BEST Super 8 I have ever stayed in! I am shocked that there are not other reviews for this hotel! The room has a leather sofa in the sitting area, microwave, fridge, flat screen tv on the wall. The bathroom is extremely clean, and mattresses appear to be new. There are many choices at this exit and street, but don't knock this Super 8! read more

Stayed here on our way back from Ia. Stopped and stayed on July 27th. Room was very clean. I like the idea that there was no carpet. Would stay there again. Continental breakfast was good read more

The nicest Super 8 I have ever stayed at. Microwave, refrigerator and TV mounted on the wall. Updated and modern.

I had a very similar experience to the other reviewer below. We were stuck staying here because no other hotels in a 25 mile radius had rooms for the night as we passed through. The smoke smell was overwhelming as soon as we opened the door & left me sneezing and stuffed up for the entire stay, I didn't even know "smoking" rooms were even an option these days! There were burn holes in the carpet and on the bedspread. Don't even get me started on the walls! How do walls get so disgustingly dirty!?! And if they do get dirty, maybe someone could clean them?!? The clientele of this place also leaves much to be desired. Since your room opens up to the outside some of our "neighbors" were outside on the balcony openly discussing drugs. If there was any other option I would've swallowed the $100 we paid and gone ANYWHERE else. I even looked for earlier flights to see if we could get out earlier so we wouldn't have to stay the night here. read more
