I would not recommend staying in this hotel. The workers are courteous and the hotel looks relatively clean, but...I did not have a good experience. First, the prices are high. I thought that was because of the higher quality - but it's not high quality. The prices are as if it's downtown Nashville, when it's really Murfreesboro. I will say that the pictures available on the website are accurate - this is not an updated hotel. However, sometimes updated hotels look good but are raggedy, so pics alone don't necessarily mean anything. In this case, the pics reflect the lack of quality. Next, read the fine print. When I saw, "internet available, refrigerators available" etc. I assumed that those were included...I was incorrect. There was no refrigerator in my room (which is one of the reasons I chose this hotel). Since I booked via Hopper, the desk attendant said she couldn't switch rooms. Keep in mind that this room was over $200 a night with taxes and fees. When I entered my room - I could have fallen out from the odor! Smelled like a dirty locker room!! Awful. Just awful. At this point I called Hopper, they indicated they'd contact the hotel management. Of course, management was gone for the day and Hopper said they would try again in the morning. To Hopper's credit, sounds like they were successful reaching management the next day and negotiated giving me a refund for one of my three nights (we'll see if the refund actually comes through in a few days). Unfortunately, there was no offer to switch me to a room that didn't smell like dirty socks/underwear and one with a refrigerator. If this weren't Memorial Day weekend, I would have argued for a full refund and paid the extra to stay at the Courtyard Marriott. There is a free continental breakfast that is fine. Fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, muffins, waffles, etc. are all available. It's a decent spread and might save you a few bucks. The beds/pillows were not really comfortable...but at least they appeared clean. The television had super limited channels (no Lifetime, BET, VH1, etc.) - just the very basics. I struggled with getting the room temperature right because I didn't realize there was no centralized air, but instead, an old school air conditioning unit. And, the air conditioner was making all kinds of noise the first night, so I didn't get good sleep! If you have other hotel options - go with them. This hotel was super disappointing.

Best hotel ever! Thanks Thia for saving my life! Your hospitality is remarkable! If it wasn't for you I may not be here. Thank you for the moon pie and coke. My sugar dropped into the 30s. The breakfast is incredible. The smoothie is awesome! The sausage, Biscuits and gravy was on point! Nothing negative o say about this hotel. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Loved this place. So clean with a ton of thoughtful touches: chess board table with pieces in lobby, a variety of refreshments, visually pleasing interior, adorable pics on key cards and next to room numbers for quick ID, and breakfast was no exception. There wasn't anything particularly remarkable in the breakfast: it had the usual waffle maker (but had cute mini chocolate chips you could add), eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins (with a well-stocked wide variety), and the most adorable silverware bins in multiple places. And I particularly like the non-partisan TV channel on the one TV so you weren't surrounded by political posturing first thing in the morning. And while the hotel allows pets, there were no untoward smells that I could detect. Our room was cute and clean. Lots of puffy pillows and comfy sheets. And I loved how many places we could charge devices since we're traveling cross country with kids and needed to recharge everything from IPads to phones to Kindles. We were able to get a double queen for just over $100 through a second party site which I'd highly recommend. I would definitely stay here again.

Main seating area with couches, near breakfast area with tables.

The things that degraded the experience; As you walked in the building the main sliding door threshold is loose with broken tiles outside the building and onsite close to the check in desk. *paying for parking is not required for a handicapped parking in the state of TN. (We were charged $14) staff needs to know the laws. The rooms are okay. Nothing fancy. For an Embassy this location it's subpar. They do have older, weathered cabinets in the bathrooms, the couch had blacked weathered stains on the armrest. The table that is used to sit at for dining space is loose and rolls. Dont lean on it. Furthermore as an elevated hotel I'd strongly recommend using better toilet paper than sandpaper in the restrooms on the property. The only good we experienced was the evening reception which was a great treat. Snacks were great, 2 drinks were very nice. In addition, the breakfast was a superb breakfast with many of options both tone at and drink. Our family would opt to stay at another place. This Embassy did not meet expectations of other Embassies.

The hallways and elevators smelled of carpet fresh which was used to cover up the moldy and damp smell that was apparent by the dingy discolored carpet. The room my wife and I were placed in also had a very strong damp moldy smell that only got worst. It was most intense in the bathroom. It got so bad we had to request they give us another room because our throats were actually burning too bad to sleep by the second night. The manager was kind enough to give us another room on a lower floor which we appreciated but when I tried to tell him about the problem with the room, he claimed to be unaware and that no other guests had complained which we found difficult to believe. We both had our allergies triggered due to the short stay which was not worth it. Needless to say, we will never choose Comfort Inn Hotels in Tennessee or anywhere else. If you want a comfortable relaxing hotel stay DONT choose Comfort Inn!!
