We had a relatively average stay at Best Western. The room wasn't nothing to brag about, but it could have been worse. The continental breakfast wasn't much to brag about, but it could have been worse. But what couldn't have been worse is the fact that I left my less than $100 earbuds in the room. When I call back and spoke to Brian, he talked to housekeeping right then and there, and they had them. And assured me they'd be there when I sent a return self-addressed stamped envelope in three days. Well, guess what???? You guessed it. Somehow they miraculously have disappeared. Brian has miraculously taken a 3-week vacation, and the manager, Ron, has miraculously gone back to the Philippines. That leaves just Mandy or Madeline the only one working in the whole building, I guess. Because she's the only one who answered the phone twice, and she's the only one who confirmed there's nobody else there to talk to. And, of course, she knows nothing about my earbuds or the return address self-stamped envelope, which I got notified from the post office was received. This is John at 517-299-3777. So, if you happen to be management or a dirtbag who are keeping my headphones at the hotel, please feel free to call me and send them back. I'll update this in the near future because if I don't get them back, I will inevitably be suing them in small claims court for a little over $800. Stayed Wednesday March 12, 2025 for $85 - one night, 2 queen beds. Total cost was $102 with tax and it was an absolute bargain. Our room was very clean and included a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Beds were super comfy and towels were abundant and new. Included breakfast was extensive given the price of the room. They offered sausage, bacon, waffles, an array of cereals, yogurt and add-in's, prepackaged muffins, bagels and cream cheese or peanut butter. As other reviews have mentioned, this is a motel, with room doors facing outside (not a hotel with interior room doors). Because of that, the room caught light from the parking lot. And due to its location you could hear highway noise. There were 10 other hotel options on the same road that would have had the same amount of noise, for a much steeper price. Hampton Inn same night quoted me $212. You would have needed earplugs there too. Great motel for road trippers! read more

Horribly dirty. I had to clean the floors with their towels because they were so nasty. Beds don't have sheets or mattress protectors that fit them. Also old and uncomfortable mattress. The fragrance they use in the rooms are overbearing. Never again. read more

The toilet didn't flush, the phone didn't work, the TV didn't work and the room smelled. The sheets were stained and nasty, they looked like they hadn't even been washed. AC didn't work and the room was extremely hot. No other rooms were apparently available. The area was sketchy. Didn't feel safe or comfortable. Super expensive for shitty rooms, not worth the price. Didn't even spend the night even though we arrived very late, we left almost immediately. Was nasty and things didn't work and workers wouldn't refund us money nor were they helpful. The guy kept saying, "sorry I can't help you. I can't help you." WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! app won't let me post without a star but this was a zero star establishment. Very disappointed. read more

Standing water in the tub with a smear mark on the bottom (in the water) that looked like feces, the ceiling light in the bathroom had painters tape on it and was inoperable. There is a big plaster patched unpainted spot on ceiling in the shower. The floors in the room were filthy and the flooring at the foot of the bed is coming up and my wife tripped on it. After walking around barefoot my feet were black. The TV remote needed batteries. The outlet on the outer wall to the left of the a/c is inoperable and has 2 lamps (the floor lamp and a nightstand lamp) plugged into it which of course, don't work. The whole room was dusty and obviously had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. read more

The best that can be said is the room was clean but smelled of cleaning products. Room was worn and dingy. Bed was okay. It took 2 people 10 minutes to check us in to our 2 rooms. We wanted to get an early start in the morning but the dining area was dark with the chairs still flipped up on the tables. I tried to get a cup of coffee but it was obviously from the night before and was tepid at best, The OJ on the other hand was warmer than the coffee. We loaded the car and then tried breakfast again but while the lights were on there was still no food or fresh coffee and the waffle maker was not turned on rendering it useless. The Staff seemed mad we had come in for breakfast so early. We ended up eating at Waffle House. Stay anywhere else. read more

As far as motels and hotels goes, this place was a nice place to rest our heads. What really put them over the top was that they accepted pets. The room was nice with the standard items along with a microwave and refrigerator. They also serve a hot breakfast in the morning. Not just your standard make your own waffles, but eggs and sausage. It's almost right off the highway and there are several restaurants to choose from in the area. Would I come back here? Yes, I would. I'll see you in the funny papers. read more

Not as bad as any, under 4 star review states. Came here yesterday with family for a Nashville note drop (similar to a New York ball drop..haha..New York has balls -_-). The lobby is small, along with a kitchen area for the breakfast, and a t.v. on the wall. A little lounge area is near the desk. The breakfast was not bad, hot and cold options and HOT CHOCOLATE! Internet bandwidth could have been faster and would have given the last star. The internet lags on words and the computer lags at times. The individual taking over for the owner (apparently, it was rumored he had a heart attack) was very accommodating. It's not the Four Seasons but for $100 (incl taxes, fees, and a pet fee), there are no real complaints about the hotel or the room. Yes, it is a bit dated but it's exactly what you'd expect from a sub-$100 room. Sheets and bathroom were clean, no rogue hairs or stains, and the smell was tolerable (just an artificial smell like Febreeze). Staff was friendly. Only problem we had was that someone set the parental controls to the TV in our room. We arrived pretty late so we didn't want to bother having someone come fix it. It appears that this has been an issue for a while since we were at least the 20th attempt to try to crack the code. It wasn't a big deal and we just watched Cinderella. We learned that Murfreesboro is a popular area to stop between Florida and the Midwest so we'd recommend making a reservation ahead of time. When we arrived the parking lot was full with the exception of one spot in front of our room. It seemed like the neighboring hotels were also close to capacity based on the parking lots. read more

I travel with an older pet so I cannot live without. The Best Western set up! Drive up to the door, small grassy areas, room is CLEAN ! Front desk was amazing every time, have stayed there several times now. They have not let me down yet! The floors are laminate (and nice looking) so it makes for an easy clean up! The beds at this hotel are actually quite comfortable! I didn't even want to get up at my scheduled time to leave! Cracker Barrel close and a gas station. I arrived exhausted and had a horrible stay. I tried desperately to reach the manager upon checkout to discuss several issues. Left my cell phone and email. No reply. Called back - not available. Left contact info again - no reply. So I'm forced to leave a brutal yet honest review even though I just wanted a refund. 1. Filthy. Many dead bugs in the corners and crumbs in the chair. 2. Supposedly newly renovated - cove base peeling off and significant paint scrapes on the wall. 3. The LOUDEST traffic noise and a bed that creaked so loud I woke myself up. 4. Non smoking room reeked upon entry and cig butts were on the window sill outside. If I hadn't arrived late and was so tired, I would have just left. They advertise: If you need to contact us before, during or after your stay, we're here for you? Nothing means more to us than complete satisfaction of every guest, every day? Hotel looks nice, but the room (114) didn't seem to be superbly clean or particularly well-kept. There is a strong odor of must/mold, like a damp basement. There were a few large spiders that greeted me upon entry, which may be due to the fact that the door didn't quite close all the way and definitely would allow critters to sneak in. The only thing redeeming here was the breakfast - The coffee, OJ, food, everything was phenomenal. VERY pleasant stay....we were able to get two rooms (2nd floor dbl queens and 1st floor king) for $80 each after taxes. The lobby is really small and the breakfast area quaint, but the staff are incredibly cordial and accommodating. This is a pet friendly hotel (with $15 pet fee) and yet very clean. The rooms are nicely laid out with flat screen tv, plenty of counter space, large wardrobe closet, full size ironing board and iron, mini fridge and microwave, and clean bathroom/vanity area. The towels are of relatively high quality for a hotel and low noise level considering it's right next to the highway. I found this place in a pinch for a last minute 1 night stay passing through Tennessee and I really couldn't be happier with their service and value!! read more

We stayed here last night on our trip back from Florida and had a great time. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. They printed out directions to a local church for my grandpa, which I thought was nice. No complaints about the room. It was spotless and my much needed shower was wonderful (There was no chance in hell that I was showering at that last dump we stayed in.) The beds were clean and comfy and there were plenty of towels. The breakfast was fantastic, too. There were bagels and coffee and hot chocolate and a waffle iron and plenty of other delicious options and it wasn't like another Best Western that I stayed in where the batter was just sitting out in a gross bucket for three hours, this had a nice little batter holder that gave the right amount of batter when you pushed the button. All in all, a great breakfast. Plenty of delicious breakfast items. The place is right next to the highway, so when your standing outside it's kind of loud, but I didn't notice any noise in the room. There are also plenty of restaurants in the area, so after a day of traveling you can enjoy a nice meal. The only complaint was that we had some trouble with our key. We couldn't open the door and the girl came and opened it saying you have to do it quickly and shouldn't put the card next to your keys, but after we were still having problems. No one else seemed to be having any trouble, so maybe we somehow demagnetized our key or we just got a faulty one or something. Overall, we had a delightful stay and I would definitely recommend it to someone. read more

They are definitely trying to upgrade. New bathroom and floors looked nice. But there is way too much wrong here. Cigarette butts all over the premises. On the stairs, on the floor outside our room (assuming from previous guest) and walk ways. Not sure why no one would clean them up. Room wasnt fully cleaned. Found a used cup lying on the floor, huge amount of dust on the television. Continental breakfast is not what it says on the website. No waffles, no eggs. They have frozen breakfast sandwiches, some fruit and muffins. Customer service is apathetic. We made a simple request of the front desk and they ignored it. Later there was a large group at the pool being incredibly loud until past 11 oclock. Dont mind them having fun, but they were yelling and being inconsiderate. Nobody said a thing to them. When we checked out the gal in the back did not even look up from her phone. Said to leave the keys on the counter. Just not a great experience, would not stay here again. read more

The hubby and I stumbled on this place on our way home the first time we went to Disney World together. We didn't have particular plans for stopping on the way home, but after an exhausting straight-through trip on the way down, we stopped when we got tired. It happened to be about Murfreesboro, we saw a bunch of hotels so we stopped. We picked the Best Western for no other reason than past experiences with this chain. We were very pleasantly surprised when we got to the room. Although the hotel was older, the room was completely updated. It was nicer than some of the stuff we had at home. We even contemplated staying an extra night. There are a bunch of restaurants nearby so we ran through a drive-thru and brought our food back to the room and just enjoyed not being in the car and a really comfy bed. There are also a bunch of stores close, including a Walmart, in case you need anything. They have a complimentary continental breakfast. We liked this place so much that we made a reservation to stop on our next trip home from Disney. We requested and got the same room! The hotel is right next to the highway, but nothing could be heard from the room and we were on the end closest to the highway. This is a great place to stop to break up your trip! read more

I have to admit I was skeptical about using a Best Western because of bad experiences in the past, but this changed my mind! The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helped us out with a couple extra towels for the pool. The pool itself seemed small looking at it, but once we got in it was great. The perfect size to relax and have fun. It was also clean and I never felt any reservations about getting in. The area the hotel was in was wonderful as well in that it had everything you could need: both sit down and fast food restaurants, grocery stores, and a Walmart for any other needs. It was very convenient for us who had forgotten a few things for the trip. Lastly, the rooms were very clean and well kept. The beds were absolutely amazing and very comfortable - which is surprising for a hotel. All in all it was clean, comfortable, and well worth the money. Definitely recommend. read more

I'm moving home from Florida heading to Chicago. I found this hotel on hotels tonight and got an amazing deal at $72 for the night with 2 queen sized beds! Incredible! It's one of the cleanest hotels with all the extras. Complimentary breakfast, coffee in the room with a mini fridge and microwave! Nice sized vanity area with ironing board and iron! Don't let the exterior fool you. While I am not a fan of exterior doors, the room was newly renovated and clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was average with waffles, powdered eggs, fruit, juice, coffee, and cereals. They were a little understaffed and by 7:15 there were only egg crumbles left. I have never been more disgusted in my life. I stay at this hotel many times a month due to my job with a large corporate employer. Or should I say used to. Since I am often there I am always looking for the best rate and look to the website and/or app to book my room, especially since it is usually last minute. For the last 6mo or so I have been unable to book online or using the app due to it wiping out security info whenever you enter it. After multiple card tries and manager assistance I ended up just having to pay full price so I could just check in and sleep. I have continually had this issue and have continually gotten no help. Today I spoke with the hotel directly and told by Ben he couldnt give a website rate nor did he bother to offer the corporate discount even after I asked for it it and told me to call reservations. So I called them hoping to find a resolution since I have multiple bookings coming up and want the best rates. I was told they cant control the app or website and transfered me to customer care who said the same thing. The care rep did say she would give the online rate and call the hotel themselves to set it up and I was advised to just go in and check in. At this point I had already been on the phone almost 2hrs and was at the hotel already. When I went in Ben at the front desk told me I would NOT be given the rate I was promised. After explaining my situation again to him I was told there was nothing he could do and made no attempt to give an alternate solution but instead told me that the Best Western website and app had nothing to do with them at all as they all had different owners. That may be true however if you carry the Best Western name you are connected. Ben continued to say it was not his problem and that its just a 2nd job for him and he only makes $8 an hour so there was nothing he could do. I advised him that I would like yo know exactly who COULD help as I needed to book another room for days from now and he shrugged and said he didnt know. I asked if he could find out. He said no. After a lot of back and forth I wad able to get him to call the manager. The manager was able to get me a lower rate (though still not the app rate) for tonight but was never asked how I am to resolve my booking issues for the next one I need to book despite my pleas to ask him while they were talking but he ignored me. After hanging up I AGAIN asked who I need to speak with to resolve it in the future and was again told I dont know with a shrug. I asked again if he could ask someone who does know and was flat out told no. Now I am a reasonable person, and I have worked in customer service, in fact, briefly even at Best Western customer service back in the day. I understand you dont have all the answers but then its your job to find out who does know. It is called customer service. I should not have to pay because you only make $8 an hr and dont care about your job. Me and many coworkers from a giant nationwide company stay at this location and other BWs around the country and I will be recommending we no longer submit our employees to deal with attitudes like this in the future and pull any accounts in the future. This particular property is on a street full of half a dozen other hotel options that I am sure would love our loyal business. In the end I was able to get Ben to give me the managers name but not phone number and told if I felt like it I could come talk to him M-F in person (it is currently Sat and I check out Sunday). I advised I would contact the manager but also asked for the corporate information or property id to file a complaint. Ben shrugged and smirked and said "I dunno". I again asked him to find out and he refused and said I could find it myself. Clearly he was not interested in his job or keeping business for this location. Since I was getting no help from him I said I would find it myself and file a complaint. Ben smirked at me again and said "Go ahead, you make a big bang about it, I dont care." At that point I took my keys and left. I should mention that the other customer waiting in the lobby saw what happened as well so the word will be spreading that this property does not care about its guests and holds themselves to a different standard than Best Western as a company. As soon as I got to my room I called my employer and we began looking for alternate hotels for our continued stays. read more

I have stayed at Best Western hotels all across the country and this is by far the most disgusting hotel I have EVER stayed in. The rooms were filthy, they put stained sheets on the bed, the air conditioner was moldy, the railing outside the room was wobbly, the breakfast made me sick (literally). Asked for extra towels and blankets and never got them. We stayed here because there were "laundry facilities" which was actually one washer and one dryer in a pitch dark walkway outside the building and the guests from the hotel next door were told they could use it which means we were lucky if we got a chance. The ice machine ran out of ice and we were told to go to the hotel next door to fill our ice bucket. People were loud and in the pool until very late into the evenings. Do yourself a favor and find another hotel. read more

The rugs feel and look dirty...only provide hard soap and 1 shampoo...no conditioner..no lotions...no body-lotion... body wash...really?? I asked for bottled water and the night clerk said I was "only a gold member and water is only provided for platinum and diamond members"????? Are you kidding me? I told her that my husband has cancer and has a weakened immune system and can't drink unfiltered water...and the machines don't have water....so she FINALLY BEGRUDGINGLY gave me 2 bottle of water. I sure hope it didn't BREAK the bank for this branch. This was the worst Best Western..with the Best Western Plus by the Nashville Airport being one of the best hotels I've EVER stayed in! How.can there be such a drastic difference here? I know one thing. In the future I'll ask more details before booking with Best Western ..but ...THIS is our last stay at THIS one. read more

Stayed here with my kids while checking the town out before we move and we loved it. We stayed in a 2 queen room and the rooms were much bigger than I thought they would be and so were the bathrooms. We had a little issue with our air conditioner and the handy man came in less than 5 minutes and fixed it. The staff was very nice, rooms were clean, breakfast was really good.
