Until they do renovations, stay somewhere else!!! Issue, upon issue at this place. We had a late check in and they had technical issues and it took 30 minutes to get checked in. We were in room 118. The door keys wouldn't work after multiple resets and the desk person finally got us in there on with a master key, which meant we had no room key. The bed sheets were clean. Everything else was disgustingly unkept and not fully functioning. I wish I had seen recent reviews of this place on yelp before selecting. read more

Decent stop. We stayed here 1 night, when we did the Coldplay concert. It was efficient. The usual Fairfield experience. The gym is very minimal but it's good to get a good cardio sesh in. The location is 30 mins from downtown. There are tons of food options close by. Parking was easy. They have a huge deck outside. Overall, good stay. read more

This appears to be an older Fairfield which may be undergoing renovation. There's one elevator, the ice machine is on the first floor, and small breakfast area. There's a nice looking pool. The hot tub is covered indicating it's not in use. It's clean and comfortable. It is 25 minutes to the Nashville airport. It costs 16,500 points while everything in Nashville proper is much higher. We will be back when we are flying in and out of Nashville. It's a good deal. read more

When you walk into the lobby there is a strong perfumey smell. The bathtub is rusty. The bathroom has what appears to be an exhaust on the ceiling but no switch to turn it on. It appears as if they've painted over black mold on the ceiling. The light above the sink doesn't work and the faucet is loose. Chose this location because every Marriott property in Nashville proper is stupid expensive. I travelled heavily before I retired and collected a gazillion Bonvoy points so we always stay at Marriotts. This Fairfield (their economy brand) is pretty good. This stay was awful(not really a stay because I left immediately). Please be careful if you or your family members suffer from any sort of breathing or respiratory illness. We checked into this property 06/07/24 . We walk in the room exhausted from the road and as soon as we enter it wreaks of mold and moisture. I get in the room and turn the lights on.... It is mold and moisture bubbles everywhere. It's on the ceiling and the wall art etc. I also noticed that this had been painted over as if that's a fix! Not cool! It's a safety issue. I immediately took pictures and left right away. I have not heard anything back from management or staff. Not to mention the front desk lady said we've been battling with mold here ! What! So you all know and taking shortcuts instead of addressing issues head on. Spent three days in the hotel and definitely came away pleased. The most important thing is - Yes, I would definitely stay here again. The place appears to have gone through a recent(ish) remodel. Or at least my room had. But whoever was hired, definitely did some things that shouldn't have made it past the punch list. Nothing really bothersome, but either a miss or low quality workmanship. The staff were super nice. When I checked in, whenever I came through, when I left. Each interaction was awesome. The management should be proud of the people who work the front counter. My room was pretty weirdly shaped. It wasn't bad, just kind of twisty long. Bathroom, sitting area, around a corner and then the bed. Very roomy, lots of space and I dug it. The only weird thing was how close the closet was to the bed. You had to have been in the room to understand that one! Bed was pretty good. The mattress worked for me and the pillows were great. The covers, sheets, blankets were "meh". The bathroom was pretty good, but mine needed some TLC. It looked like a shark took a bite out of the top where someone carved it to fit the wrecked door frame. That made it through a remodel punch list? Laughable, but not inconvenient. What was really weird were the two blisters in the bottom of the bath tub. Two big bubbles where the laminate was coming apart. It's just a matter of time before someone steps on one like popping bubble wrap and they start having water issues below. I'd stay again, but maybe not in that room. read more

Unfortunately we had an issue besides it needing upgrading got a room with ripped carpet, could not adjust the AC and the worst of all when turned on lights in middle of night had cockroaches scurrying around. I was able to kill and show as proof. The staff however was very nice. You don't expected this from Marriott properties but this not the first incident I've had at a Marriott property. It looks like Marriott may have taken over this property and it did when I had an incident with a Four Points Marriott took over it had bed bugs. read more

My husband booked and paid for room online. Charge cleared on card before arrival. Upon arrival I was told room had not been paid for even though my husband was able to check me in remotely through his app. Even after checked in electronically desk personnel refused to give room keys. Just checked out today at this Marriott location. From the time I checked in to the time I checked out I was surrounded by friendly employees. Loved the elephant made from towels on the bed. It made me smile when I entered my room. Before reserving a room at this hotel I searched on Yelp about 12 others near the airport. This was well worth the 20 minute drive from where I was working during this trip. The room was clean and had a fresh smell (until I bought some BBQ into the room). Thank you to the whole staff for keeping this hotel clean and welcoming. It means the world to us that travel a lot! read more

Want to be treated like family? You need to stay at this Marriott property. It's situated right of I-24 and Sam Ridley Road. The front desk greeted me like I was coming home. Provided us with bottle of water and snacks. There is an indoor pool with a work out area. The hot tub was temporarily out of service. The room was clean and had plenty of outlets to plug your portables, a refrigerator and microwave which was missing from our room. There is one down in the lobby by the snacks. Our original room had it, 320, but the toilet wouldn't shut off. So we moved to 306. Breakfast was okay, my wife didn't like their scrambled eggs. I had a waffle and scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, sausage patty, banana and english muffin. Staff is very friendly. We'll be back. read more

We just got off hwy, entered lobby, I asked if I could use restroom kinda urgent need... this man behind the counter unloaded on us...yelling, about how we're rude and stupid to ask..while yelling at us he was waving his arms and his tone was disgusting. I'm glad his behavior was appalling. It gave me pause enough to notice how dirty the lobby was and the sour smell similar to goats. We left. Checked in to EconoLodge instead. read more

Incredibly helpful staff. They did everything and more that we asked for. The bed was comfortable the pull away for my little bro seemed fine and they brought it instantly. There are a couple cons. No fridge or microwave in the room. The water pressure in the bathroom was terrible. As was the flusher on the pot. These aren't deal breakers. Generally I use Priceline and book 4 start hotels for this level of hotels price. But this time our Chase Marriott offered us a free night at a certain level hotel which included Fairfield and this specific hotel was very close to my brother's house so we stayed here. Check-in was fine, quite routine. The kid was nice, however he was asleep when we arrived. We did arrive at 2am though, so maybe that is allowed. He also gave us keys that didn't work on our room (620), so my husband went down to get new keys. The rooms were quite spacious and definitely well appointed. Upon entrance, we saw two kissing swans on the bed! VERY cool! There was also a handwritten note from our maid welcoming us. Very nice touch. The bathroom was separated too. It's nice to have the sink separate from the shower/toilet so two of us can get ready together. The beds were really wonderfully firm too; important to me. The worst part of the stay (if you can call it that) was an overwhelming lemon scented (a cleaner I suspect) room for the duration of our stay and there was a stink bug in our room Sunday morning. Otherwise it was very nice! We had breakfast at the hotel on Saturday morning! What a breakfast!! Lots and lots of options. Very clean, nice hours, tons of sitting space and the front desk people walked around collecting dirty dishes which I found to be really nice! I wish they had better cutlery to eat with though. I had a very difficult time spreading peanut butter, I just gave up. VERY good food though. My husband and I both had two full servings and were very stuffed. My niece and nephew swam in the hotel pool for a few hours Saturday afternoon. They loved it. The hot tub had issues I guess....it just wouldn't work. The pool was fine though. The kids loved the kissing swans in the pool area too. Very nice touch! The hotel sent a follow up email a few days after check-out with a survey that I completed. My survey was very similar to the review here. I received a person email response from the Hotel's GM, Michelle. Very nice touch for sure. This was one of the worst hotel experiences ever. First and foremost, we suspect that our room had bed bugs. After we stayed at the hotel, my 12-year old son was covered in bites on his arms and legs (our pediatrician confirmed our suspicion of bed bugs) and my husband & I had bites on our arms and hands. It's been two weeks since I logged a complaint with the hotel regarding the potential bed bugs and I have yet to receive a response back from the hotel manager. Second, the hotel is under construction. This resulted in: 1) being woken up on the weekends at 8am to the sound of construction; 2) not being able to park as half of the hotel's parking spots were taken up by the construction; and 3) inadequate security as the main lobby entrance was blocked off, so all guests had to enter and exit through a standard side door by hotel rooms. This side door was unlocked all night. Third, the hotel staff was not friendly. Young woman working the front counter was not interested in hearing our complaints regarding the construction and did nothing to try to make the stay more enjoyable or try to compensate for the inconvenience of the construction. When I called to make the hotel aware of their potential bed bug problem, Kelly the manager was not willing or able to share with me their policy for handling bed bug complaints (I suspect that's because they have no policy). After two weeks, I have still not received a response from the hotel, nor has Marriott. Clearly they do not care about their guests. So be forewarned - you couldn't pay me to stay at this hotel again. read more

My husband and I are Marriott Rewards members, and we don't stay at hotels often, so we just have regular member status. This hotel made us feel like platinum members. We stayed for our anniversary and upon check in they asked what brought us to the hotel and we told them. Within the hour there was a knock on our door with a complimentary bottle of champagne and 2 glasses! The room is a great size, we selected the whirlpool room and it's great! They serviced our request of extra pillows without us having to even ask (we had requested online prior to our stay.) We might make this our new anniversary tradition! Love this hotel! read more

Called and booked this hotel for 2 nights in the whirlpool suite,- and 2 nights in the king. Kayla had trouble performing the 2 bookings so I made the whirlpool reservation first, and then called back and made the second reservation. She's very nice but maybe not the best at problem solving. Both rooms were great and Sarah and Kimber helped out a lot and were always smiling and helpful! They were renovating the pool so we went to the local YMCA and that was great! This was the worst experience with any Marriott personnel I have ever had out of the 325 stays I've had in 3 years. I made a reservation that needed to be canceled. The old policy used to be cancel by 6 the day of. However they changed this without me knowing to 24 hours in advance. I received no email and was not informed of this. The General Manager told me that there was no way she would do this and tried sticking me with a $200 charge because she had my credit card number. She was very rude and unprofessional and made it known that I cannot go above her because she was the top person. For the $200 they were going to charge me, I would advise staying somewhere nicer nearby. I went to the courtyard downtown for less money and had a great experience. read more

Wow...what an experience. It helps that we are rewards members, but the check in experience is so quick and convenient that it defies description. And we got an upgrade! This hotel is right off the interstate, across the street from Cracker Barrel, and clean, quiet and comfortable. And there was an elephant on our bed ;-). We weren't here for more than 10 hours, so no time to try any extras, but can highly recommend it for other travelers. And yes, you could launch a cat. Hook five of those puppies together, and it would be an E ride at Disneyland! read more

I have stayed at this hotel two times in the last three weeks and will be again tomorrow. All three trips have been for work training and my stay has been three nights each. The people here are AMAZING!!! They treat you as though you are part of their family from the time you check in until the time you leave. The staff remembered my name after my first night in the hotel. They are incredibly accommodating and so friendly. My fiance was coming into town to meet me, and they allowed me to change rooms to a king size bed no questions asked. The breakfast is hot and a very pleasant change from the typical continental breakfast from other hotel chains. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area, and I would bet without a doubt that you will have as an enjoyable stay as I certainly have. read more

We stayed in a double bed room because that is all they had available and our reservation was last min. It was a pretty full Tuesday night. Upon arrival there were warm cookies and popcorn in reception. Check in was fast and the girl was very nice. She explained everything very well and was just so sweet:). Location of the hotel couldn't be better right off the highway but you can't hear it. If you would rather not look at the cars ask for one on the other side it views an open field and some trees. There was also a white tent set up, similar to a circus tent, but nothing was happening so it was very quiet. There is a restaurant across the parking lot and Target across the highway. Tons of other hotels in the area. Nothing terrible about this property. The pool and spa were closed for some reason so can't rate that. Work out room had treadmill with tv and large flat on the wall plus free weights. Room had fridge and microwave. B-fast in the morning was typcial, fresh fruit, oatmeal, make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs. Good stay overall. read more
