The room was nice and clean when we arrived, the heater worked and the bed was comfy as usual! Overall it was a great visit, no complaints. This super 8 didn't pop up on maps or our hotel apps however, so when we arrived in town we were surprised to see it but thankful they had rooms available on such short notice.

It's a Super 8, so keep your expectations realistic. Rooms are decent, clean, a little smoky in the hallways. Breakfast was typical, and parking was good. Cheapest place in town when we stayed.

I have never stayed in such a disgusting place like this place before . Side entrances that are suppose to be secure with a room key were broken so just about anybody could get in . Rooms smelled like they have never had fresh air . The bathroom was falling apart . It literally looked like someone bought a old building and threw some furniture in it and called it good . $85 to stay at this crappy place .

Fire code violation: a smoke detector completely covered in masking tape.

This is, by far, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life, and I've traveled throughout third world countries. This was worse than the worst place in a third world country. The smoke detector was completely covered in tape, a complete fire code violation. The shower didn't work--it shut itself off every 30 seconds and I couldn't get it back on without significant effort. The bed was filthy. Covered in snot and little black human hairs. The pillow even had a human head imprint in it. Who knows how many people sleep in those beds without them ever being washed. Disgusting. The carpet was filthy, moldy, damp, and about 40 years old. The chair and beds were filthy. Everything about the place was completely disgusting I would have immediately left it we hadn't checked in at 2 am after not being able to get a room in 2 other nearby hotels. Frankly, the hotel should be condemned by the board of health.

This was not MY dirt. This is what the water left behind

My husband and our cousins went to eat and I was just sort of more tired than hungry so I got some changed from Miss Wanda for a Coke (Pepsi) and ate a bag of free pretzels they had at the front desk. I traded a decaf coffee for a regular and Miss Wanda gave me 2 and said if I wanted more all I needed to do was ask. She also said if I decided I was hungry that there was yogurt and would even get me something from the kitchen... Would check what she could do. She was soooooooo sweet. It's the little things that turn out to be huge when reflecting on your stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The towels were fine... Not the biggest and fluffiest but definitely not chinsey!! We're pretty easy to please. :) Breakfast was good. They had waffles *and* sugar free syrup so my husband was happy. There was hot food and fresh fruit. Everything was clean. Miss Wanda definitely should be commended. We loved her.

When we got inside, we were very happy because the facility is very clean and has been undergoing some updates. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the beds were great, the bathroom was spotless and the towels were in great shape. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge and a smaller flatscreen TV with plenty of channels. The staff is nice and the continental breakfast consisted of cereal, yogurt, coffee & juice. They also had scrambled eggs, hash browns with sausage mixed in & toast. We had a ground floor accessible room with 2 queen beds. Price was $85.00 per night. We will definitely stay here again!

I honestly can't remember the last time I had a worse experience checking into a hotel. I've stayed at this hotel a couple times before when working in Limon and in my previous two experiences there was a really nice lady working the front desk. So just to be clear this review is solely for the miserable witch working tonight. Insanely bad attitude. The type of person who is so miserable that she has to make everyone around her miserable too. I had just come off a long, difficult 12-hr work day and had to endure this person's condescending BS. I told her I had a dog and politely asked if I could get a room on the first floor. She rudely told me that "ALL pet friendly rooms are on the first floor SIR!" With an emphasis on sir like it was meant to be an insult. I've stayed in many hotels where pets were allowed on all floors. But whatever. I brushed it off. I asked her if she might have a menu for the only nearby restaurant across the street, as hotels often do. Another extremely rude response. I was really tired so brushed it off again. I politely asked her if I could get two room keys. "I ALWAYS make two keys SIR!" I replied that I've been living on the road for two years and a lot of hotels only want to give a guest one key. She grumbles and then she actually proceeds to explain to me how to use a freaking hotel key! Like what?! Haha. "The key goes in the door upside down. This is why I put the keys in the envelope upside down so guests know how to use them." In this slow condescending voice while pointing to the key cards as if she's talking to a 5 year old. I'm like wtf?! Do you seriously feel the need to explain to guests how to use a simple key card? I mean the card has an arrow on it telling you which way to insert it. (See pic below). But this miserable wench only did it to try and make me feel stupid. And literally SECONDS after just telling her I've been living out of hotels for two years, including dozens of Quality Inns (no kidding). I wanted to cuss her out but didn't want to deal with having to book another hotel in the area because I knew she was hoping for a reaction so she could cancel my reservation. Then I'd be SOL because there's only one other hotel within a 60 mile radius that allows dogs. I was not going to give her that satisfaction so I just kept my mouth shut. Sorry about the long review but don't book here. If you don't have pets there are three other nicer hotels in the immediate area (oh yeah the rooms here are crappy, moldy and old af). I will never stay at this hotel again after my experience with this horrible person. I'll drive another two hours even after a 12-hr work day. No thanks

Last nite I rolled into limon ,CO and was greeted warmly and friendly by Peter and Brian. When I inquired of a room location that was nearby to where my bike would park, Peter immediately showed me "the best security camera parking spot", which happened to be where he parks his car ... and without hesitation he moved his car and asked me to park my bike there - AND - confirmed the staff would keep any eye on it all night long. And it was untouched until I loaded up and headed out this morning. Okay, so this is not the Ritz, the Hilton Grand, the Four Seasons, etc. where I actually stay as a regular choice. I get that, but everything about my stay here was more than adequate and exactly as I expected - but the extraordinarily nice accommodation for parking really sets this stay apart from most. We have lots of choices in lodging (no pun) and I truly hope Brian and Peters supervisors know the good will being generated. As a retired corporate and private CEO I learned long ago that PEOPLE are the ONLY contributing asset that can make a lasting difference in any enterprise. I will stay here again and I recommend it to anyone who needs a welcoming, friendly place to stay that is run by people who care about you as the paying customer. Don't expect perfection - we all can agree we are not paying for it here, but DO expect clean neat economy grade accommodations at a cost that is minimal. Thank You Ps: once you've had a coveted item like a special motorcycle stolen from right under your nose, you will never feel the same about security .... not trying to be paranoid, just realistic. The fact Peter & Brian got it is impressive. Here it is parked at the lobby office managers parking space ..
