The bug I found in the towels!
    Kelsey W.

Wish I would have read the reviews first... Pros: Staff is very friendly, pet friendly... Cons: first thing when you open the door to the room is pee! Why should we pay a fee for our pets if they don't clean the rooms!? Awful! Went and bought air fresheners because I couldn't even be in the room, bed is extremely hard, and found a bug in the towels!

    Dirty floor.

Ok hotel, right off I-70 and cheap. The beds however are terrible and rooms are outdated. About what you would expect from a roadside motel.

My husband and our cousins went to eat and I was just sort of more tired than hungry so I got some changed from Miss Wanda for a Coke (Pepsi) and ate a bag of free pretzels they had at the front desk. I traded a decaf coffee for a regular and Miss Wanda gave me 2 and said if I wanted more all I needed to do was ask. She also said if I decided I was hungry that there was yogurt and would even get me something from the kitchen... Would check what she could do. She was soooooooo sweet. It's the little things that turn out to be huge when reflecting on your stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The towels were fine... Not the biggest and fluffiest but definitely not chinsey!! We're pretty easy to please. :) Breakfast was good. They had waffles *and* sugar free syrup so my husband was happy. There was hot food and fresh fruit. Everything was clean. Miss Wanda definitely should be commended. We loved her.

When we got inside, we were very happy because the facility is very clean and has been undergoing some updates. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the beds were great, the bathroom was spotless and the towels were in great shape. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge and a smaller flatscreen TV with plenty of channels. The staff is nice and the continental breakfast consisted of cereal, yogurt, coffee & juice. They also had scrambled eggs, hash browns with sausage mixed in & toast. We had a ground floor accessible room with 2 queen beds. Price was $85.00 per night. We will definitely stay here again!

Quality Inn & Suites Limon - Key card

I honestly can't remember the last time I had a worse experience checking into a hotel. I've stayed at this hotel a couple times before when working in Limon and in my previous two experiences there was a really nice lady working the front desk. So just to be clear this review is solely for the miserable witch working tonight. Insanely bad attitude. The type of person who is so miserable that she has to make everyone around her miserable too. I had just come off a long, difficult 12-hr work day and had to endure this person's condescending BS. I told her I had a dog and politely asked if I could get a room on the first floor. She rudely told me that "ALL pet friendly rooms are on the first floor SIR!" With an emphasis on sir like it was meant to be an insult. I've stayed in many hotels where pets were allowed on all floors. But whatever. I brushed it off. I asked her if she might have a menu for the only nearby restaurant across the street, as hotels often do. Another extremely rude response. I was really tired so brushed it off again. I politely asked her if I could get two room keys. "I ALWAYS make two keys SIR!" I replied that I've been living on the road for two years and a lot of hotels only want to give a guest one key. She grumbles and then she actually proceeds to explain to me how to use a freaking hotel key! Like what?! Haha. "The key goes in the door upside down. This is why I put the keys in the envelope upside down so guests know how to use them." In this slow condescending voice while pointing to the key cards as if she's talking to a 5 year old. I'm like wtf?! Do you seriously feel the need to explain to guests how to use a simple key card? I mean the card has an arrow on it telling you which way to insert it. (See pic below). But this miserable wench only did it to try and make me feel stupid. And literally SECONDS after just telling her I've been living out of hotels for two years, including dozens of Quality Inns (no kidding). I wanted to cuss her out but didn't want to deal with having to book another hotel in the area because I knew she was hoping for a reaction so she could cancel my reservation. Then I'd be SOL because there's only one other hotel within a 60 mile radius that allows dogs. I was not going to give her that satisfaction so I just kept my mouth shut. Sorry about the long review but don't book here. If you don't have pets there are three other nicer hotels in the immediate area (oh yeah the rooms here are crappy, moldy and old af). I will never stay at this hotel again after my experience with this horrible person. I'll drive another two hours even after a 12-hr work day. No thanks

On my…read moreside of the bed, the mattress was collapsed on the middle edge so badly, I had to put a pillow there under me to keep from literally rolling out of bed! Even with the pillow there, it was a restless uncomfortable night. I got up 5 times before giving up trying to sleep at 6 am. The threshold into the bathroom was raised and I caught my foot on the sharp straight metal. I didn't hit it hard, but if I had been moving faster, it would have cut me like a potato peeler. Breakfast was supposed to be served from 6-9 according to the information folder in our room, but a sign in the breakfast area said 6-8. We got there at 6:45 and the only food offered were small chocolate chip muffins and those miniature chocolate donuts- individually wrapped in plastic wrap, a few granola bars, juice and coffee. That's it. No fruit, no yogurt, no cheese sticks, no toast or bagels, even though there was a toaster. All the meager dried out stale offerings were gone by 7 am with no more offered. I forgot to mention the giant hole in the wall behind the entrance door of our room. Seems like a simple doorstop would have prevented that. I tried to tell the man running the place about the issues, but he just said"okay, thank you, I'll check" before I had even finished describing the problems. Seems like he has insincerely said that a few times- he clearly didn't care. I am all for saving money, but you'd have to have some sort of subconscious self loathing to stay at this place after reading all the reviews. I know I owe myself an apology.
