DO NOT USE THEM. I highly recommend avoiding Suntalk Solar. Our experience with them has been incredibly disappointing. Initially, they promised everything we wanted to hear and even lied directly to our faces just to secure the sale. We had them install an entire solar system for our house, but a few years later, we discovered that we were misled about key aspects of the installation. Despite these issues, we attempted to work with them again to move the system to our new property. However, we were met with nothing but silence and delays, despite multiple empty promises from their manager. Their business practices are very shady, and we feel cheated. We will be sharing our experience with everyone we know and will be reporting them to the necessary authorities in Colorado, armed with video proof of their salesman's claims during the sale. I have been a customer in Aurora, installed 7.5kw system with 22 panels from 2019. There were some issues with the wirings, but their support was awesome. Jason has been my main guy, and he was so responsive, and easy to work with. They came and fix every single issue that I had. 2 years ago we had a huge hail, but none of the solar panels were damaged. But we had to claim insurance and take the panels off and put them back on. Suntalk has been easy to work with, and they rewire everything, even put better insulations on the wirings. I had pigeons trying to make nests under the panels, and they put nets and guards around. Yesterday, I just realized that my SolarEdge data was not updating since March 3rd. Called Jason, and he told me how to reset the communication module, and everything is good now. We had our Solar install managed by Suntalk back in May 2018 and back then we had great service, answering all our questions and concerns and were able to enjoy Solar service in no time. Since then - I have become even more of a fan as we had hail damage on our roof, causing us to have to remove our panels, plus when we needed to get a new SolarEdge unit, and just other questions when we notice our Solar not producing - and each time, they were extremely responsive and got us back in service with minimal downtime. UPDATE: After six years, I finally have the system running about 96%, no thanks to Suntalk. It has been over a year now that I have been working with the manufacturer, providing them the design specs from Suntalk. The manufacturer concluded Suntalk poorly designed the system between the solar array and the inverter. After intensely learning the technical side of solar and the equipment, I concur with the manufacturer. I spent an additional $1700+ and countless manhours installing the appropriate equipment and properly programming the system, as to avoid completely rebuilding a sizable portion of the system. Now our solar is harvesting just over 6.8+KW, which is approximately a 98% increase in production from Suntalk's installation. Of note, I spoke with Suntalk for a number of months after my initial post and contact by their service manager, with no progress. Not once did they send a technician out to troubleshoot the system, even after repeated requests. They kept attempting to blame the batteries and informing me they would call the manufacturer. They promised on two occasions to send a technician out on a service call, but both manifested into two no call/no shows. Not even an apology, except after confronting them, and they provided not much more than excuses. Then recently I identified a review at https://bestcompany.com/solar/suntalk-solar/reviews noting that there are two reviews. One is one star and the other is a 5 star. Interestingly, the 5 star reviewer has the exact same name as the President of Suntalk. Why am I not surprised... ORIGINAL POST FACTS AND OPINIONS: We signed a contract with Suntalk Solar through its representative in 2019. The Suntalk salesman/representative altered the contract after it was signed. Had I not copied the signed contract before alteration, I would have been held to the higher altered price, according to Suntalk, until I produced the originally signed agreement. They finally honored the original price. Additionally, I needed to stop work during the initial installation, as their system was insufficient for our needs. They attempted to install a system that would not even support our well pump. Suntalk and I fought for months until my attorney sent a CDARA Letter. They finally began working on correcting the system. Their work was never complete. What was completed has never entirely produced enough power to sustain the house, much less overproduce during peak months, as promised by the salesman. Now, the system will not even turn on. I have called, left messages, sent messages, and involved attorneys. Their contract did not address attorney fees to the prevailing party, so be prepared to pay all of your legal costs. What a waste of time and money. Tens of thousands of dollars and countless manhours trying to get the system to work, it doesn't even turn on. I have a 7+ KW system; the most it has ever produced is 3.47 KW. Choose them if you want, but I would recommend looking somewhere else. read more

When installing, they cut the bathroom vent lines and left them to vent into attic, instead of re-routing to another part of the roof. It took $6800 emergency call in the winter to make the condensed air stop raining through the ceiling from the attic. Later, when the sun roof stopped working, they demanded a $300 deposit before they would even talk to me about scheduling an appointment. read more

I'm sorry to say this, but don't use SunTalk Solar. Their response to service calls is completely unprofessional and borderline fraudulent. The company charged us $300.00 for a service call, which never happened because the tech realized he didn't have the right equipment on his truck, so he didn't came to our house. They still charged us the $300.00, but assured us that this would be applied to the service appointment when it was made. The tech came out a month later, fixed the malfunctioning panel, and left. To our surprise, we received an invoice for another $300.00! When we called, the rude receptionist told us that the tech had to "log" the call and order the part, so they charged us anyway for the initial service call. We will find another company if we ever have to have our panels serviced again. You think solar panels are expensive? Wait until you have to repair one through SunTalk Solar. read more

We the people who care for ourselves need to stay away from this guy's. We have our system installed in 2021 since that time we have only troubles, installed inverter is not proper for the system and after 1 year needs to be replaced because it die. Whole system is not making enough to cover expenses. Our electric bill is still the same and we need to pay for solar system on top of that so $250 electric bill + $185 for solar system . Promised tax return was rejected by IRS for some reason (still trying to find out what) so we pay and pay and pay. Every repair job cost a lot and no warranty or whatever is provided. Customer service is..... Horrible if you can get it at all. So far for 2 years we only spend a lot of time and money without return. I have no enough words to explain how bad is that company. To make it short - Stay away from this guy's and you will be ok. read more

I do not recommend this company to anyone. I purchased my solar panels from SunTalk Solar about six years ago and my inverter went bad. This should not happen so I contacted the company regarding the matter. I explained to them that my system had stopped working and they told me that I would have to pay them to have a technician come out. I agreed to pay a deposit with the understanding that it would be refunded if the issue turned out to be under warranty. It turns out that the inverter is covered under warranty; however, they told me that my deposit wouldn't be refunded. This company is shady and if you are smart you would avoid them at all cost. They do not take care of their customers and are only in it for the money. read more

Please do not hire this company. My electric bill was the same or higher since we purchased the panels. The sales person changed his number. No one will get back to be except one person, Denby, who tells me "everything is working on their end" and someone will contact me. No one has contacted me. This was a significant purchase with significant failure and unprofessionalism. I believe they miscalculated how many panels we needed and are not holding themselves accountable. This company gets 0 stars! We contacted this company September 2022. They stated they could install by the end of December 2022. The problems started just a week after meeting with the salesman. We asked for a system with battery backup to run our well, a few appliances and heat during power outages. No communication from them until the end of January 2023 in which they said the battery they were looking at installing wouldn't work. The salesman text, with an option that was considerably higher in price and less KW but didn't explain we would not be getting 100% coverage. They seem to leave out a lot of details in their communications. The 3rd week of February the salesman said a great battery came up for a good price. They promised this battery would fit our needs of running our well and 3-5 other household circuits. They designed a system, asked us which 3-5 circuits we needed backed up and then submitted utility and permit applications. After the applications were approved, they said the electrician wanted to take a second look. Well, he determined the great battery they offered would not support the well and circuits, it would only support one circuit, but wait....if we buy a bigger battery from them, they THINK it will run our well and circuits. They don't know for sure, just THINK. And of course, the price of the solar goes up another 10K. That was not acceptable to us so they started offering band aid solutions they thought would work. None fit our needs and we asked for our deposit back several times. There have been weeks to a month with no response or communication from this company. They finally sent a portion of our deposit back. Stole $2,241.89 of our money for doing absolutely nothing. They never installed anything. They are totally incompetent and couldn't come up with what they promised but stole part of our deposit. read more
