OGS Electric is an owner-operated electrical contractor based in Louisville, Colorado. Our focus is residential energy systems, including solar, battery storage, standby generators, EV charging, load management, time-of-use optimization, and automation.
We also provide residential electrical work including panel and service upgrades, new circuits, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
Both co-founders work in the field and remain directly involved in design and project direction. We design energy systems around the property, the electrical infrastructure, and the customer's actual needs. For solar, that includes using utility data and site-specific production modeling rather than starting with a sales target.
We explain the options, constraints, and tradeoffs so customers can make informed decisions about what is best for them.

History
Established in 2024.
OGS Electric was founded by longtime friends and colleagues Lucien and Ari. We have known each other for over 20 years and worked together for more than a decade, including managing electrical work across multiple states before starting OGS.
After years of working for other companies, we decided to build one of our own. OGS opened in both Colorado and Vermont, with Lucien working in Vermont and New Hampshire and Ari in Colorado.
Colorado soon became the clear place to focus the company. The market was a better fit for the work we wanted to pursue, and we already had an established network here from our previous years working in the state. Lucien returned west, and we consolidated OGS around Louisville.
Today, we both work in the field and remain directly involved in the design and direction of our projects. OGS focuses on energy systems and the electrical infrastructure that supports them, while continuing to provide residential electrical work.
Meet the Business Owner: Lucien D.
With nearly 20 years of experience as a Master Electrician, I’ve worked across residential, commercial, and historical projects, from track homes to high-end custom houses, mid-to-large apartment buildings, commercial spaces, and restoration work.
I co-founded OGS Electric to bring integrity and expert craftsmanship to an industry that too often prioritizes sales over service. Too many homeowners are left with unfinished or underperforming solar systems, and I’ve made it my mission to fix what others leave behind—ensuring every project meets the highest standards.
At OGS Electric, we specialize in solar, battery backup, EV chargers, and generator installations, providing real solutions, not sales gimmicks. My goal is simple: help homeowners and contractors get the job done right, with transparency and quality that lasts.
