The one off C street is so crowded with all the other stuff in that strip mall. They have a points system, I haven't received enough points to see what it translates too to redeem.

The place inside is nice, small but perfect if you want to sit for a little and enjoy your smoothie. The tables could be wiped down a bit better but it wasn't terrible. Service acknowledged us right away and was friendly. They're careful about allergies too. And they're mindful about keeping Alaska clean and not ruining the environment.

I came in with a client who happens to have special needs. I arrived first to get the lay of the land. Sutton, the man behind the smoothie bar, was warm and welcoming. When he learned that I was waiting on a client, he immediately asked me kindheartedly if he could accommodate my client in any way- reducing the volume on the music, lights, etc. Once my client arrived, Sutton worked some serious magic, engaging my client in conversation, teaching about how the smoothie machines worked, and generally being a decent human being towards my client who is often marginalized. Their conversation nearly made me tear up. This visit started off as a journey to learn about a new business in town and how to order a smoothie and turned into one of the best outings my client and I have done. These include an Apple Pie Latte, an Incredible Hulk Redbull Smoothie with green-colored whipped cream to symbolize St. Patrick's Day, and the Double Whammy....
