First off, I'm a car person to start out with. I randomly picked an auto detailing shop for my sister's Lexus suv. I came across sunshine auto detailing and boy am amazed with their quality of work. The suv was old and dirty, and the paint was pretty faded too. The inside was dirty and had dog hair and a foul odor that was likely from the carpet. My sister decided to keep the car and drive it to the ground, so she wanted to at least make it look better and cleaner. Well, sunshine detailing transformed the interior and the exterior of her suv. They vacuumed and shampoo'd the carpet and floor mats, and wiped everything down to a nice clean shine. They've even cleaned all the crevices too. The car was left smelling real good. Oh, and the tires looked brand new! We couldn't be more pleased. All the workers there were so nice too. I highly recommend this shop to people in need of serious car detailing. I live in Sonoma County, but I have a lot of family in Hayward and Castro Valley. I love that this business is 100% family owned. I've met the mom, dad, and two daughters. They have always been incredibly kind to me. I am terrible at planning ahead, so I often forget to make appointments for when I know I'll bein the area visiting my family, but when they can, they fit me in. Make sure to make an appointment because there are only four of them MAX on any given day, and one or two most days, so they're schedule fills up quick. They usually take about an hour or more, they are *very detail oriented* and do a great job at a great price. I love supporting them also knowing that they are putting their daughters through college right now. This is my most favorite hand car wash spot in the entire west coast, no joke. They treat Priscilla the Prius right! Writing this review reminded me that I need to make an appointment for her right now. read more

This place does an amazing job!! Patricia and her family members are extremely nice and do a terrific job, their hard work definitely shows, I mean my Honda Pilot looks brand new now. I took the car in with food stains on the carpet, soda/coffee spills on the carpet/interior, dog hairs everywhere, and I even had a melted candle hidden in the back cup holder lol. They cleaned everything so well, inside, outside, and the engine, it all looks new. I'm positive that there's no job that they can not tackle. Family owned business. I have had detailing done within a 5 mile radius of Hayward city Hall and sunshine detailing is by far the most detail oriented when it comes to a full detail. Specifically shampooing the carpets makes your car look so much better than it did before. The dust resting in all the air vents are magically gone after a full detail. If you're looking for just cleaning your car you can get that in multiple places but for a full detail I usually go to Patricia the owner. read more

Hello Readers, I passed by Sunshine car wash and Auto detail many many times so I stopped meet Patricia and asked her how much to detail the inside of my Buick La Cross, no wash needed. She said $100.00 for carpet shampoo, clean leather seat,dash,door panels,windows,Etc and car fragrance. Patricia said its a 4 hour job.I told her ok I'll do it tomorrow morning. I dropped it off at 9am a lady started cleaning the car at 10am (I stayed there until they started) and then I walked to the bus stop ran errands and came back at 12:38 the car was done. I paid $100.00 asked who cleaned it, went to here, she said your floor mats are drying you can take them now or come back tomorrow, I told her I'll pick them up tomorrow and handed her a $20.00 bill she said thank you,??... $2.00 I'll get your change, I said no the $20.00 is for you Not $2.00 twenty$$ she was happy I said I'll see you tomorrow have a good day. Note: I didn't get a four hour detail but what I got was a very hard working lady cleaning my car with the Honesty and passion for what she dose. Yes I'll go back when the inside needs cleaning. P.S. Randomly stumbled across Sunshine Auto Detailing on my way to work. My car needed a pretty thorough cleaning - so I got a basic wash for $25. While my car was being worked on, I relaxed in the waiting areas which had couches and a TV. The employees made me feel very much at home and everyone that passed through the waiting area offered a friendly hello and a smile. Within about 20-25 minutes - my car looked great - inside and out! After a night of heavy partying one of my friends had a little accident in my car. I had no idea what to do. Being a germaphobe I knew I needed I cleaned properly and quickly. A friend recommended Sunshine and I gave them a shot . I was so happy with the work they did cleaning my seat that I've since gone back and gotten my whole car detailed. Prices are reasonable. I am trying to sell my Durango that has been primarily used as a second car and my "dog" car. It was pretty dirty inside with dog slobber and there was dog hair everywhere. I dropped my car off and told the lady (I'm sorry but I can't remember her name but I think she's the owner) that I wanted the car detailed because I am selling it. I told her she could have the car all day. Boy was I surprised when I came back to get my car. It looked like a brand new car. The outside looked great but the inside was immaculate! I was looking around for quotes for interior detailing and when I finally got to Sunshine Auto Detailing, the price was half of what everyone else was charging so I decided to drop off my car with them. I left for the day and when I came to pick up my car the interior was clean and the stains that my car once had on the seats (pretty bad stains) were clean. My seats looked neat and clean nearly brand new. The floor and the rest of the interior was restored. The workers were nice and I really appreciated that. I had a 2000 VW Jetta done in this place and they did a terrific job. The price is a lot cheaper than craigslist postings anywhere. I have been shopping around and cannot beat their price. The only thing is that they do not do engine steam cleaning or degreasing under the hood. They only provide internal/external detailing. Try them if that is all you need. I do recommend. read more

These guys are great. I scrapped the bumper of my corvette, so I bought it in to find out if they could help me. Adam told me has had several jobs similar to mine. So I left my car there for a few hours and when i returned I had to look very close to find any evidence of the prior damage. I am extremely satisfied with the job that was done. I took my vehicle in on a Saturday 8:30 sharp with appt for a Wash & Wax. Had my car all day. Pickup it up and it's not done right. Was was still on parts of the car. Don't know what they did but so many spots of the car were missed. read more

I took my suv in on May 9th to get a full shampoo and vacuum. When I got it back my hood was unlashed (why)? If I didn't notice before i left It possibly could have popped up on me! I have fabric seats and thought they would be wet when I picked it up but nope all dry, but an arm rest that was worked on in front of me when I went to pick it up. I was told to bring it back to have the armrest looked at on the following sun but when I mentioned that there was more spots that I noticed I was told that it was. 2012 vehicle and that all spots won't come out and to not even bother to bring it back. I was in shock at the rudeness very unprofessional. Such a bad cleaning job, I ended up making a homemade cleaner and got the spots right out!!! Also in between the front console and seats weren't even vacuumed. So upset not a good experience at all. Never been treated so poorly from a business. Work on your cleaning skills and manners. read more

Showed up about 15 mins before they closed. A girl came out (assuming the owner's daughter) and said they couldn't get me in today which is totally understandable (damn the traffic on mission that delayed me). She asked me to come back at 8am the next morning and said she'd check with her mom who I will assume is the owner. Her mom came out and looked at me and said she couldn't do my detail tomorrow that she'd be too busy....umm yea. She asked me to come back Monday instead. So a drop in car wash and detail doesn't want me to drop in. She might as well have told me never to come back because that's what I'll do instead. Oh my my I would give this place a zero star horrible experience. I went there to get a car wash and wax @ 10am the first thing i see 4 cars in drive way nothing done on 3 cars one was being washed. this old gentlemen came n said oh we all going for coffee break can u wait so i told him sure i'll wait. as soon as they took my car in they started working on my car they washed it and was taking it out to do vaccum n wax. a young guy dont know if he had his liscence or not took my car out dont know if he got very excited cuz he was driving a lexus n not paying attention he just backed into a car and mest up my bumper at that time i was so mad n the young guy said i'm sorry I told him whats sorry going to do are u going to fix it. and after 30mins the old cat comes out sees the accident n says sorry i tell him i just bought the lexus 1 month ago u better fix it or i'll call the cops very rude and not a good customer service this just happened 2/22/15 and they fixed my bumper on 2/23/15 and did not have to pay for car wash and to fix my bumper and they did not do a good job on washing and waxing my car left spots and left waxes some places uggghhh never coming back her again and i dont recommend this place for anyone. i would give o stars. read more
