I was so relieved I did not need to file a comprehensive claim. Steven did a great job restoring the car to how it looked a year ago when I drove it off the lot. Today I returned for a basic wash and just made arrangements to return for an interior detail and to get a minor curb rash off one of the rims. After about 30-35 minutes, they started moving cars again and explained they'd be doing hand washes instead of running through the system. I want to give credit--the team stayed professional, communicated well, and worked hard to keep things going. That said, for a $45 wash, the final result didn't match the usual standard I've experienced here. The photos show it best--wheels still had buildup, interior areas needed more attention, and I didn't receive the Armor All treatment that's typically included. I'm not upset--just being real. I know what this place is capable of, and that's why I keep coming back. Today just didn't hit that mark. If someone from the team could reach out so I can bring the car back in for a proper finish, I'd really appreciate it. It always comes back looking unbelievably clean. My favorite thing he does is remove all the numerous white patches of mineral sun screen on the door panels and seat upholstery. I didn't realize that it's almost impossible to get off. I tried various DIY solutions nothing worked. Israel gets it all off, on both sides of the car, and even gave me a bottle of the secret sauce he uses. Now I too can get it off, as long as my supply lasts, but it's a LOT of scrubbing. I recently brought my 2nd car to Israel. It's a BMW i4, black, that I bought used. It's a great car but it hasn't received much TLC during its young life. I could tell it had been driven through an automated car wash a few times, and had been left to air dry with water on it, leaving hard water stains. Israel got everything polished up looking brand new again. An outside panel on the driver side, between front and rear windows, is plastic and had scratches on it. Israel buffed them off and then placed a special film on it to protect it, so I won't have that issue again. As always, he is meticulous with the interior cleaning. I'm OCD but he surpasses me lol. All this white glove treatment and the price is quite reasonable. For little more than the cost of 3 automated car washes, you too can get your vehicle looking like new and cleaned within an inch of its life. The feeling of driving such a spotless car is so worth it. If you love your cars and take pride in keeping them well maintained, G1 is the place to bring them.
