What a hidden gem! Why didn't I find this place long time ago? 100% hand wash and they don't charge extra to clean your floor mats like other big spots. Price is cheap. I paid double at the other spots and it was not as clean as this place. When you arrive, be careful though, you might miss this spot since it's located behind a gas station with small sign. Once you get there, you pick your package. I believe no.1 is $29.99 and no.2 is $39.99 ( including waxing and floor mats cleaning and etc) $10 extra charge for SUVs. Then you take the paper and pay inside. There are chairs to sit in that area and you can see they wash your car. Take about 15-20 mins if they are not busy. Definitely come back and make it my regular now! read more

I've tried giving this place a few chances but after my visit on Tuesday, I'll be going somewhere else. While the price is decent, the work was mediocre. They missed a few areas in my car meaning they truly didn't clean the interior. I can only assume the windows were cleaned with used towels because my windows are covered in swirl marks and at night it's a safety hazard. My seats were wet with who knows what that will now have to be cleaned. And I wasn't offered a car scent that's included in the price. The last I want to do is pay someone to clean my just to turn around and clean it again myself. read more

Not sure what they use inside but my seats looked not evenly cleaned and too much product... same with my windows. The operation doesn't look like much, but the employees are efficient and do a good job. I spent only $40 before tip to get the interior and exterior of my sedan washed. SUVs cost more. My only complaint is I wish there were a level in-between what I got and the full detailing that included waxing. read more

Foothill is our go-to spot for a reliable and affordable car wash--inside and out. We stopped by today and, as always, they did a great job. It was a hot day, and they even offered us a free drink, which was super nice of them! It was pretty busy, so a few spots were missed at first, but the team was super responsive and happy to go back and take care of it. For $40, you really can't beat it. I've done LOTS of research--most other places charge $80 or more for the same level of service. One helpful tip: if you have an EV, make sure to let them know if you want the frunk cleaned--they'll take care of it, but only if you ask. Because they're getting more popular, I recommend going early in the day or right before they close at 5 for a more relaxed, patient clean. We'll definitely be back! read more

Hidden gem. I'd consider this similar to a mom and pop restaurant where you get the best food, genuine service, but not the best atmosphere. You can expect a reasonably priced wash here and great quality, but don't expect a nice car wash set up, literally feels like you've pulled up to their home driveway. I came in with low expectations but given I prefer a hand wash, I thought I'd give them a try as there's not many options around here besides mobile detailers who use your water and electricity, then charge $200. I was genuinely impressed with how nice everyone was, all the employees seemed happy, and did a walk around with me to make sure I was satisfied before I left. 2 cars ahead of me and they work on 1 car at a time, but I was out in 30 minutes. Not much seating so best to come during their off hours. Since it was my first time here, I am still learning their peak/off peak hours but 11am on Wednesday seemed perfect. A really great job for the price. I'll definitely be back. Hard to find an honest 100% HAND car wash. Pull your car in the entrance, have one of the attendants write you an order slip, then pay inside the gas station. There are some seats so you can watch your car be washed or chill at the exit. Wow! This place does a great job. Came here today (7/26/22) to get my wife's car washed. We had been in Tahoe for a week with our 3 kids and it was absolutely destroyed. The inside in particular was just covered with sand and other grime. I had never been here before, but it's right down the street from my house. It's all by hand which is rare. A crew of 3 were working today. As I pulled up the gentleman opened the door and literally was like "Wow it's really dirty" I almost laughed. I was like that's why I'm here. I selected the Superwash. It's basically the middle package, but includes the inside and outside. He said it would be an extra 10 bucks because of the excessive filth and that it's an SUV . I gladly said fine as I just wanted it clean. It took about 30 minutes , but when he drove it out I was flabbergasted. It looked so clean. All the sand was gone from the inside. Outside looking shiny. Again having three kids riding in this car on a regular basis I never see this car looking anything close to this good. Final Thoughts: I will be a regular customer of this place from now on and bring our other vehicles. Great Job! I highly recommend this place to all. I think true, 100% hand car washes are pretty rare so I'm glad that I live so close to this one. It's attached to a gas station and, I believe, a smog check. When you pull into the area, you'll want to bring your car to the right of the building (you will likely see other cars already queued up). Wait in your car until you're approached by one of the attendants (keep an eye on them, too, because they may motion you to move your car forward, to the right/left lane, etc.). When it's your turn, they'll ask which wash you want (there's a slightly faded board with three options). I opted for the middle selection - Deluxe. The attendant wrote the corresponding price on a piece of paper - $39.99 - and I walked inside the convenience store to pay. There are some chairs scattered around the periphery of the building, but not a ton of shade if the sun is not hitting the building at the right angle; bring a hat and sunglasses if you'd like. If it's raining, I'm not sure if they put out umbrellas, so be prepared for that, too. With maybe five cars ahead of me in line, I think it took a little over an hour coming close to lunchtime on a weekday. There was a couple ahead of me in line and, because some of the waiting chairs are close by the area where cars are washed, dried, and vacuumed, I saw them ask the staff to fully dry the front of their car. The woman then asked if they had any scents and they responded that they have vanilla. I personally don't usually go for scents and don't mind that they don't have an array like other car wash places. Took my Toyota 4Runner here after my return from Black Rock City. They did an okay job - I think if my car hadn't been to BM and just needed a regular detailed hand wash, I wouldn't have caught all these things where I felt they were either missed on purpose or just out of pure tiredness - it was a hot day, but for me being the only car there at the time, I would have expected it to also take longer to wash and detail- it ended up being ready for me much faster than I was anticipating. I'm super detail-oriented so when my car was ready for me, I found a few areas that I decided to fix myself with a rag I had in my car. The guy saw me and came by to say he can help - he did, but afterwards I still checked everything and cleaned up some areas. The workers were very nice, only a man and woman were there at the time I visited. I have been to better hand car washes and partial hand car washes in Souther California that were my go-to spots for fair prices in return for the highly detailed work they did. I am still in search for places up in the Bay Area. There is a small seating area with umbrella for shade if you want to sit there and wait for your car - there were only 2 chairs though. I wandered to the strip of businesses that were on the other side of the gas station. There's a convenience store and Mexican restaurant I ordered from during my wait. There was also a deal for $5 off a car wash - you just need to go inside the shop to redeem and the guy inside gave me a free air freshener. read more

Went to Foothill Hand Car Wash today. We were in a regular Toyota Sienna van. When we pulled up, we were told it would be $60 for the wash and vacuum. We asked the price again to clarify since the price board said $39.99 plus $10 for vans, large SUVs and oversized vehicles. He said the $60 was because we were in a van. Again, we were in a regular Toyota Sienna. My mother asked if he would do it for $50 since that's what the board said and he said no, turned his back and mumbled something in a difference language. I won't speculate as to why he tried to charge us a different price but whatever the reason it was rude, inappropriate and appeared to be discriminatory. Had my car looking spotless! Found this place on yelp, I went today which is a week day around 12ish. I pulled up with only one car ahead of me. I got the deluxe pack for my Infiniti qx30 crossover and paid $40. I asked one of the staff how long it would take out of curiosity and was told 15-20 mins (not bad!) so I chilled around the corner at their cute seating area and got some work done on the computer as I waited. So happy with the results, the team did a excellent job and very detailed. I don't know whyyyy it's so hard to find a 100% hand car wash place but I'm glad I came across this one. Got my Tesla model 3 washed here, did the full service for $40. I've only had the car for about 2 months so it wasn't very dirty to begin with but it left looking like new again, inside and out. No complaints on the wash itself. It wasn't very busy when I went, only one other car ahead of us, so there were a couple people working on our car at once therefore it didn't take long but I also think they were pretty detailed (not rushing). I only knock off 1 star because it was really hard to understand the guy, so the instructions on whether to stay in or get out of the car and where to leave it were unclear. And then you have to pay inside the gas station, and when you get out of the car there are just so much oils and grease from all the cars washed that it got the bottoms of our shoes oily and of course that is tracked back into the car when we leave. read more

This was my first time using this place for car wash. I always prefer hand car wash over machine wash. I came here on a weekday so hardly anyone there. I did the standard wash which cost $29.99 but I had the $5 off coupon from Yelp so I ended up paying $24.99 instead. I can't say anything about the level of detail they do on the interior but the exterior was pleasing. In the store they take credit cards with a slip from the car wash workers, but you may need cash to tip. We ordered food at a neighboring restaurant and the food took longer (not much) than the wash. I had high hopes for this place because they had great reviews on a different platform. The wait was very long 1.25 hours before they started washing my car. It would have been fine if it wasn't for their queuing system. They allowed another car to go ahead of order, which caused my car to get delayed. Then they further wanted to allow another person to go ahead of me that clearly arrived after I did (10 minutes after me according to my dashcam footage). He spoke the same language as one of the workers, and told them that he arrived first, so I image that's possibly why. I was trying to show them the footage, but the worker just brushed me off. The only reason why they allowed me to go ahead is because I showed the other driver the footage and he told them to allow me to go first. This entire incident wouldn't have occurred if they just honored the order. From there on out I imagine their entire day was completely disorganized. I encourage the business to improve their front end operations to make sure that the queueing system is clear and consistent. Apart from the customer service, this place used abrasive brushes on my paint - basically an old plastic broom. I have yet to check if they left scratches on my car, but I'm not hopeful. Total wait: 2 hours to wash my car with 4 cars ahead of me Cost: around ~40 Worth it: no Positives: They got the bugs off of my car and cleaned the inside well. read more
