We scheduled the appointment through Yelp and I have to say Hans was by far the most responsive business. At the time I was shopping around with quite a few tint shops in my area. I'm the kind of guy who asks a ton of questions, does his research and demands excellence before spending my hard earned cash. Hans more than delivered. He downright shine. He has more tint options than your average shop and he will explain why he recommends certain products over others. I went with SolarGard all around. Here's the kicker, I work from home so that particular day of my install I had a work meeting stacked day. I asked him if I could find a little nook in his shop to work out of. I showed up in the middle of a conference call earbuds in and all and as soon as I got to his shop he knew who I was and led me directly to his air conditioned office without saying a word. Let me repeat I didn't even need to say I word! Hans was on it! Oh and he's meticulous too, he spend what seemed liked 4 hours on my truck and I did not mind one bit. The way I see it he was pampering my baby. I will be bringing all my family cars to Hans going forward. You da man Hans!

But unfortunately I was met with a rushed job and many areas needing more work. So I complained and ask them to re-touch selected spots. By then the car with all the tools have left and one person was left working with the car without the proper tools. After that he excused himself and told me that another person will be coming out within an hour to re-do my car. Yes an hour later I was met with a person who genuinely cared and did a good job taking care of all my concerns. I should be met with multiple people on two different occasions for the promise job to be delivered. Will not use again.

I spent an…read moreentire day visiting different installers, from the bigger names (with multiple locations in the country) to premium car detail shops, to smaller shops like Protect-A-Shield. Protect-A-Shield was an afterthought for me. After visiting shops recommended by friends and internet groups, I wanted to exhaust options so called Matt the owner. I stopped by and chatted with him and saw his operation. Compared to the others, it was on a different level. His team was impeccable in their detail and attention to quality. The shop was spotless, and Matt was eager to show me how he did PPF wrapping which left few exposed edges and blended seamlessly into the paint. In his shop were Lamborghinis, Bentleys, and Teslas. He was in a class of his own. Protect-A-Shield was not the cheapest option nor the most expensive. But for the quality it was definitely worth it. When my Model S arrived at the dealer, I picked it up and drove it over. Matt found some serious paint defects and worked with me to get them repaired. He provides better service than I even expected. Now that my car is done, Matt is now frosting the windows of my office. I cannot recommend him and his team enough.
