I posted before a review but it's been some years and been some tattoos so wanted to update. Since the last review I've added some work. So wanted to update my review as a regular. I first want to mention how the shop and David's station is always clean and never left me questioning health standards at all. I know when I go in there, I'm good. I even went during mask mandations (and this is saying a lot since I spent most of my time at the height of the pandemic as a recluse) and felt safe at the shop at all times. Aside from the cleanliness, David continues to be a top choice for tattoos as I stayed with him for my subsequent works. The tattoos where Ellie's The Last of Us 2 tattoo (which we spent watching clips from TLOU during), my right arm sleeve that includes a dragon, tiger and wolf, and my hand tattoo which is a tattoo from the video game Dishonored. All the tattoos are sick but I think the sleeve is more telling as I came in basically with a general idea and David did the rest. There really is something to be said about giving an artist a general idea and allowing them to draw up something based on it as so far my right sleeve (with exception of an existing piece) is based on a general idea that David then draws up into something I wouldn't have imagined. I recommend the shop as the work done here is amazing and folks here are great. Will obviously continue sticking with David and who knows, maybe in 3 years I'll update my review again. read more

Found this place on yelp per my besties recommendation and I was very pleased with the choice. My best friend had made an appointment through yelp and I did the same so we could go together. Location is a little out of my way, but worth it. Parlour is very clean and artists there are all really good. I went with Ralph Medina due to availability and we spoke via messaging before I even came to the shop which was definitely helpful on both ends in discussing what I wanted to get. I've been back to him multiple times since the first visit and he has become my go to tattoo artist. I have gotten 4 already with him. He has a light hand and is a very good artist. He is clean and thorough and takes his time with you which I appreciate. Since this is a permanent piece of art on your body, I like that Ralph really takes the time to make sure it is exactly what you want and where you want it before he starts with the needle. Also he is accommodating to make the experience as comfortable as possible. I have been to a few other shops, and this one is definitely my top due to comfort and cleanliness. I highly recommend. This shop takes walk ins and appointments and they are open daily from 1pm-8pm except Sundays they close at 5pm. A very clean, friendly, and amazing experience is what happened here for my tattoo. Let me break it down for you: Atmosphere: Let's start off with the parlor itself. It is very clean, well maintained and very approachable. Lots of the artist pieces in the walls for you to admire. It is well lit and Jessica is super friendly and outgoing. Any question you have she's your go-to girl. Her charisma is inviting and well liked. Tattoo: I came in as a walk in on a Saturday evening, it wasn't busy and all artist were ready to help. I had a fun simple idea that David jumped in to tackle. He was also very friendly and asked to sit tight while he drew the stencil. We began to work on it soon after. David made sure the position and size were to my liking. He was talkative and fun through the whole tattoo, cracking jokes and making me feel welcomed. His artwork was amazing. The tattoo came out 10 times better than I imagined. Clean, crisp lines and so much detail. Overall, I loved his artwork and his personality made it so much better. Welcoming, outgoing and a really great dude. Price: you can never put a price on a piece of art. All I have to add is that this was the most welcoming tattoo parlor I have ever been to. I first met Jerry in October of 2020 while I was desperately seeking help from a tattooist to cover-up and makeover a bad tattoo. After several rejections from some "famous tattooists" at the beach, I was hopeless to find help. I searched the internet for Japanese Tattoo Artists in Miami and luckily Jerry Blades information appeared. I emailed Jerry pictures of the work I wanted to do and he suggested that I come in for a visual consultation. When I arrived Jerry immediately assessed the situation and said that he could work with me. I then asked Jerry what he thought and he replied "It will be much better than what is there." Talk about under promise and over deliver. Jerry literally transformed my bad tattoo into a masterpiece work of art which I continuously get complimented on. After many tattoos and many hours of work later, getting to know Jerry, on a personal level, has been the most fulfilling part of the journey with him. After my grandmother passed away I had a strong urge to find a way to memorialize her and realized a tattoo would give me that daily reminder I wanted. My grandmother was obsessed with ladybugs so I decided to get a small ladybug on my wrist. I did some research on local tattoo shops and came upon Sunset Tattoo Parlour on Yelp. They had excellent reviews, beautiful pictures of previous work, and even better an option to contact the shop through the yelp app to set up an appointment. Within 20 minutes of reaching out I got a reply from Maytee asking for my telephone number and letting me know one of her artists Andy would contact me to discuss my idea and arrange a time to come in. Andy was great! She listened to my idea and set up for me to come in a few days later. Upon arriving, I immediately noticed how clean the shop was. Andy greeted me, showed me on her iPad a sketch she had done of the ladybug and as soon as I gave her the go ahead began to sterilize and prepare her station. She was very sweet and calm and guided me through every step of the process. While I do have one other tattoo, it is a very old one done almost 20 years ago so this was like the first time all over again. The tattoo was done in 20 minutes and it was exactly what I was picturing and hoping for. The price was right and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Before I left she gave me some instructions on how to care for the tattoo while it's healing that came with pictures and everything. For me this was an added perk because with my mom brain I need a step-by-step guid with visuals to help me remember things! Overall great experience, Andy was even able to give me some ideas on a future tattoo I am interested in getting, and will definitely do with her. I wanted a Disney tattoo and decided to look up all the artist's Instagram accounts. I fell in love with how Andy did all of her designs and everything was so vibrate and polished. It was then, I decided to contact her and have her draw up my tattoo. Setting up an appointment for a consultation was very easy, and Andy herself was very accommodating and understanding what you would like to have done. I ended up having my tattoo done in two sessions to do the linework first and then color. Each time, she did a fantastic job and made sure to ask me how I was feeling during the sessions. After about (8) hours of work, I have a beautiful Cinderella piece! I will now be going to her for all of my tattoos! The shop itself is also very clean and very laid back (which is different from others in the area who are more edgy and rock & roll). Parking is very easy and the shop is also next to the famous "Mr. & Mrs. Bun" which is divine! 5/5, would highly recommend for any tattoo needs or desires!
