10/10 professional, comfortable atmosphere, clean, very welcoming. marco was great! very thorough, very patient, very kind! if you're looking for a dope tattoo shop with even doper artist- this is your spot! thanks marco! can't wait till it heals!
Checked out a few tattoo shops before arriving at this one. Their prices were the highest but the service was INCOMPARABLE. My artist was very kind and comforting, had no issues redrawing my design to better fit my desire, & the overall aura of the shop made me feel good. I had a great experience and I will definitely be going back in the future when I am ready for another tattoo!
Found this place on yelp per my besties recommendation and I was very pleased with the choice. My best friend had made an appointment through yelp and I did the same so we could go together. Location is a little out of my way, but worth it. Parlour is very clean and artists there are all really good. I went with Ralph Medina due to availability and we spoke via messaging before I even came to the shop which was definitely helpful on both ends in discussing what I wanted to get. I've been back to him multiple times since the first visit and he has become my go to tattoo artist. I have gotten 4 already with him. He has a light hand and is a very good artist. He is clean and thorough and takes his time with you which I appreciate. Since this is a permanent piece of art on your body, I like that Ralph really takes the time to make sure it is exactly what you want and where you want it before he starts with the needle. Also he is accommodating to make the experience as comfortable as possible. I have been to a few other shops, and this one is definitely my top due to comfort and cleanliness. I highly recommend. This shop takes walk ins and appointments and they are open daily from 1pm-8pm except Sundays they close at 5pm. There are also between 4-5 artists all with different styles to choose from, and a lot of their art is displayed on the walls.
Favorite Tattoo Shop ! Been a loyal customer since March 2017 Andy Cordero is absolutely amazing . Her talent is top notch ! Very friendly staff & clean shop . Highly Recommend !!! My boyfriend and I keep coming back :) Receiving compliments every where we go !
A very clean, friendly, and amazing experience is what happened here for my tattoo. Let me break it down for you: Atmosphere: Let's start off with the parlor itself. It is very clean, well maintained and very approachable. Lots of the artist pieces in the walls for you to admire. It is well lit and Jessica is super friendly and outgoing. Any question you have she's your go-to girl. Her charisma is inviting and well liked. Tattoo: I came in as a walk in on a Saturday evening, it wasn't busy and all artist were ready to help. I had a fun simple idea that David jumped in to tackle. He was also very friendly and asked to sit tight while he drew the stencil. We began to work on it soon after. David made sure the position and size were to my liking. He was talkative and fun through the whole tattoo, cracking jokes and making me feel welcomed. His artwork was amazing. The tattoo came out 10 times better than I imagined. Clean, crisp lines and so much detail. Overall, I loved his artwork and his personality made it so much better. Welcoming, outgoing and a really great dude. Price: you can never put a price on a piece of art. All I have to add is that this was the most welcoming tattoo parlor I have ever been to. Everyone there is talented, fun, and super outgoing. I plan to visit this shop as many times as I can. Thank you for a great experience.
Been driving by STP for years and finally stopped in, I met with David Cardona and very glad I did! He's an outstanding artist, and I couldn't be happier how my Daruma turned out. I've been getting tattoo's for some time now and I've been in many shops in lots of places and this was by far my favorite session. I plan on going back soon to finish up my sleeve. I would definitely recommend Sunset Tattoo Parlor. The shop is clean, the artist are talented and everyone in the shop is professional and friendly.
Absolutely loved my experience here and will definitely be coming back. It is very clean and organized with a friendly staff. This parlour cares for the needs of each customer regarding comfort and feelings on the tattoo throughout the process. Maytee did amazing on the detail. Overall, I am sooo happy with the end result. Highly recommend!!
I could not be happier with my tattoo. Maytee was super friendly and put my mind at ease during the whole process. She created an amazing memorial piece for my sister and me. Can't thank her enough for the attention to detail.
Words cannot express how grateful I am to have found Maytee. She made my memorial tattoo unique and special. Her attention to detail and experience were out of this world. I will definitely be going back for my next tattoo..
What a great experience! Exactly what a tattoo parlor should be clean Nd inviting and most importantly laid back experience. We met our tattoo artist David. A soft spoken guy with a funny demeanor. Hubby and I decided to get a small tattoo to celebrate our anniversary and David worked with us to get the exact font and size we wanted. We had a great experience and will def be go back for more ink. David made sure we talked a lot and we didn't feel a thing. Super fast, easy, and clean.
My husband and I got some tattoos done here today and honestly, it was the best tattoo shop we've been to.. very clean and sanitary, peaceful place and they were so nice to us and the quality of the tattoos were perfect.. the artist Maytee was truly good at what she does and I totally recommend this place to whoever wants some good quality ink done.. 10/10 I'll come back here soon I loved it

I posted before a review but it's been some years and been some tattoos so wanted to update. Since the last review I've added some work. So wanted to update my review as a regular. I first want to mention how the shop and David's station is always clean and never left me questioning health standards at all. I know when I go in there, I'm good. I even went during mask mandations (and this is saying a lot since I spent most of my time at the height of the pandemic as a recluse) and felt safe at the shop at all times. Aside from the cleanliness, David continues to be a top choice for tattoos as I stayed with him for my subsequent works. The tattoos where Ellie's The Last of Us 2 tattoo (which we spent watching clips from TLOU during), my right arm sleeve that includes a dragon, tiger and wolf, and my hand tattoo which is a tattoo from the video game Dishonored. All the tattoos are sick but I think the sleeve is more telling as I came in basically with a general idea and David did the rest. There really is something to be said about giving an artist a general idea and allowing them to draw up something based on it as so far my right sleeve (with exception of an existing piece) is based on a general idea that David then draws up into something I wouldn't have imagined. I recommend the shop as the work done here is amazing and folks here are great. Will obviously continue sticking with David and who knows, maybe in 3 years I'll update my review again. read more

After my grandmother passed away I had a strong urge to find a way to memorialize her and realized a tattoo would give me that daily reminder I wanted. My grandmother was obsessed with ladybugs so I decided to get a small ladybug on my wrist. I did some research on local tattoo shops and came upon Sunset Tattoo Parlour on Yelp. They had excellent reviews, beautiful pictures of previous work, and even better an option to contact the shop through the yelp app to set up an appointment. Within 20 minutes of reaching out I got a reply from Maytee asking for my telephone number and letting me know one of her artists Andy would contact me to discuss my idea and arrange a time to come in. Andy was great! She listened to my idea and set up for me to come in a few days later. Upon arriving, I immediately noticed how clean the shop was. Andy greeted me, showed me on her iPad a sketch she had done of the ladybug and as soon as I gave her the go ahead began to sterilize and prepare her station. She was very sweet and calm and guided me through every step of the process. While I do have one other tattoo, it is a very old one done almost 20 years ago so this was like the first time all over again. The tattoo was done in 20 minutes and it was exactly what I was picturing and hoping for. The price was right and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Before I left she gave me some instructions on how to care for the tattoo while it's healing that came with pictures and everything. For me this was an added perk because with my mom brain I need a step-by-step guid with visuals to help me remember things! Overall great experience, Andy was even able to give me some ideas on a future tattoo I am interested in getting, and will definitely do with her. If you are looking for a tattoo, in a clean/cool environment Sunset Tattoo Parlour is the place to go!!!! I also highly recommend Andy! read more

I love Sunset! I travel from Coral Springs just to see Andy. The shop is so clean and I feel so comfortable getting tattooed by Andy versus other tattoo artists. Her lines are so clean and she really works with your ideas. I constantly get compliments from strangers and people asking me what shop and who my artist is. All the other artists are super talented as well. Maytee definitely runs a great shop. I have nothing bad to say about it. read more

Jose was fantastic he took his time, explained everything and was willing to work with my simple vision. The shop was clean and very chill. I went in after asking a few friends for suggestions and sunset was mentioned twice out of five so i figured those were pretty good odds...considering. I walked in with a piece if paper and a google image. Jose was open and gave me two options with price and size. I will be back to get more work done and plan on telling everyone I know to check out sunset tattoo parlour. Stay inked! read more

Bestie and I went in for matching tats. Not only were the prices VERY reasonable, but the person who helped us, Jose was amazing. Really. It's hard to find that kind of mix in Miami lol. Good prices usually come with shitty customer service. Went in as a walk in with a general idea of what we wanted. He took the time to draw something up for us and explain a few different options. Super patient and helpful. Tattoo itself was very clean and well done. Would definitely come back again. Ask for Jose!!! read more

Definitely an awesome place to get a tattoo! read more

I will never go to anyone else but David Cardona for my tattoos. Not only is he an incredible artist, but he makes the experience an enjoyable one with his silly jokes and friendly personality. He does high quality work and is always enthused about working on what you want for your tattoo. If you want any anime, cartoon or comic tattoos- he's your guy. But his talents go beyond that, and I would go to him for any style tattoo. I've recommended him to all my friends and family, and I will continue to come to him for all future tattoos. He's an incredible artist and an incredible individual!! read more
