I like to believe I have a good amount of tattoos on my body from highly reputable artists here in my Miami and from France and Spain. Instill your trust in my words when I tell you, Skye Ink beats all. The atmosphere for one is immensely comfortable and has such a wonderful aesthetic. My fiancée and I were greeted by the owners, who welcomed us with open arms. I gave some ideas of my tattoo, which it was really a cover up idea, and there is where I was trusted to the hands of my now permanent tattoo artist, Leo. Please understand, cover ups are INSANELY difficult to do, but Leo conquered it with ease. His idea and creative mind really spoke volumes along with his craftsmanship with the needles. Leo is a down to earth, awesome person that really hears you out and is willing to help you out when needed. The owners, the artist, the totality of it all, really resonates amazing. They don't settle for anything less than wonderful. These guys here strive for greatness and absolutely dominate it. As you can clearly tell, I WILL be coming back here again for now on and highly recommend any person, be it your fist or 50th tattoo, to trust these guys with your vision.

I had the best experience getting my first tattoo here! I wanted to choose a safe clean place and Skye Ink was just that. The area it is located in was super cute and open. I arrived early to my appointment and didn't wait too long before my tattoo artist Pam arrived. She was very kind and drew different size and styling of sea turtles to see which one i liked best. She made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision and overall placement of the tattoo. I was really nervous but my small tattoo was done in 15 minute, and the overall process was about an hour. Almost 2 weeks later and my tattoo has healed beautiful with virtually no scabbing. I had a great first experience here, and while it was a bit pricy, the price definitely matches with the top notch quality. If I want more tattoos I will definitely be coming back here and visiting Pam again!

Everything from the beginning till the end was excellent. Me and my girlfriend came to miami for vacation for a week. We stopped by at skye ink, one day while walking in Wynwood. The location is in itself amazing. The space is big, absolutely clean and respectful of the covid 19 norms and the lighting is perfectly on point. Honestly nothing we have ever seen before in a tattoo shop. We went there asking for some specific informations and the owners, Andy and Tommy, assisted me not just responding my questions but also throughout the whole process. They designed with Leo, the artist, the perfect draw for my full arm sleeve. The day of my appointment everything was absolutely professional. Leo worked on my arm for 8 hours, with just some breaks throughout the day. I couldn't be more happy. Leo is a real artist. Super precise and it was amazingly beautiful to watch him working. He understood every time I needed a break or every time I had questions. He also knew i needed to finish the whole arm in a day, cause i had a flight to take the next day, and even then he was super professional. They also explained to me the advantages of using vegan ink and supplies for the skin. It definitely adds a plus to my experience, knowing that I'm respecting my skin and the earth. Tommy and Andy made me feel welcomed and comfortable, they created a relaxing atmosphere and they gave me all the comforts I needed. I couldn't be happier with the result. It just so happened that Sky Ink was right across the street and we could have not picked a better place if we planned it. This is my new favorite tattoo place! I recently moved here from LA and am very particular. I've been to MANY different tattoo shops/artists now and really do feel like Skye Ink knows what they are doing. The atmosphere is super cool and welcoming, everyone there wears a mask, it's really cleanly, and they even give you a tiny packet of tattoo ointment for free with your tattoo. I've already gotten two tattoos here, bubbles from the powerpuff girls (done by Leo) and a smiley face (hand poked by Vu). I love them! c: When scheduling my appointment with Andy, she was very communicative and even worked with me when I needed to reschedule. Keep it up!! I'll definitely be back.

I've been trying to collect tattoos when I go on big vacations and this appointment was a spur of the moment deal after a week being at sea. I called to see if this studio was taking walk-ins and luckily one of the artists, Pam, was ok to come in for me on short notice. The studio was very clean and the receptionist was very nice and accommodating. My artist listened to what I wanted, and even though what I got was tiny, Pam made sure that the placement and style of the tattoo was exactly what I wanted before getting started. The tattoo came out wonderfully and it has healed great! I'm so glad I got to check out this studio while in Miami. Maybe I'll get to get more work done here in the future! read more

Tattoo studio is new, so incredibly clean, the reception is friendly and they were so responsive when scheduling. Julie is fabulous, I cannot recommend her enough. I had a vision and she truly made it into something better than I could have ever imagined and her line work is unreal. If you're in Miami and want to get tattooed, go to Skye Ink. I got two tattoos here recently with Pam. The studio is beautiful and clean, you can tell it's very well taken care of. Pam was wonderful. I wanted very simple small tattoos and I feel like she nailed exactly what I had in my head. I loved my tattoo experience with Vu (@aloearms) at Skye Ink. I went in for a flash piece - my first handpoke - and left with two. I called the shop because I couldn't find it and Andy, the owner, came outside to meet me. The inside of the shop is spacious and clean and my whole experience was very comfortable. Vu is talented, caring, and a good conversationalist. If you don't want to chat, that's totally cool - I didn't feel pressured to talk, but it was really nice talking to them. It was honestly such a relaxing experience, a word I wouldn't necessarily associate with getting tattooed. I HIGHLY recommend Skye Ink and Vu in particular. Really love this place! I just got my 5th tattoo, which was my first at Skye Ink. I will definitely be coming back for my sixth! And seventh! :) Not only am I super happy with how the piece turned out, artist Vu was super patient as I decided (over two visits) what I wanted and where. Had an amazing time getting my first tattoo at this new Wynwood shop. They are vegan, eco friendly, and recyclable. I got work done by Vu and they informed me / made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in. They worked with me to find the perfect size + font for both a 305 tattoo and ying yang symbol. I would 100% come again and work with them. Highly recommend !!! read more

genuinely one of the worst tattoo experiences i've ever had. i thought that i would get over myself by now since i came in july but i look at my tattoo every day and i'm just reminded about how awful the experience was. i was extremely clear about exactly what i wanted but it still managed to turn out completely opposite than what i asked for. i asked for a price estimate right before i got my tattoo and my artist wasn't incharge of their own prices, they directed me to the manager. i paid $200 (without the tip) for a 2 inch piece that took less than 20 minutes. i was in and out of the store in 30 minutes so i guess i can give them that. if we are going off a time rate, that's about $600/hour or $100 every 10 minutes for a tattoo that had minimal effort put into it. read more

I didn't want to do this but i feel like someone has to know about my personal experience with skye ink, especially if there's ppl out there unsure of where to go for their next tattoo. they were rude and passive aggressive to me. i dont mean to be a karen but here u go. -made appt w/ julie, julie asked earlier if we can switch appt times i said yes. by mistake, later on i also got another tat place that wanted me to come in for a consultation texting me to change their appt time to another time as well. i mistake this for julie bc i didn't have any of their numbers saved, so i end up coming to skye ink an hour later than i should have, missing my appt with julie over this miscommunication. that was totally my fault. however, when trying to explain myself to them i was met with just rudeness n hostility and i understood bc i essentially wasted their time so i allowed it, apologizing and being genuinely sorry. but some things i have learned was that apparently when you pay your $100 deposit, it is only valid for 48 hours so bc of the miscommunication i had to lose my deposit and send in another one to make another appt. this made no sense and no where was i told this, especially when i sent the store my deposit like four days before my appt LMAOOO? but whatever, i took the L. i was texting the store owner to see any times or days available to make another appt and was told multiple days and times. however i decided not to go thru with it and not send in another deposit as i'll just go somewhere else. tell me how they spam call me lol saying i have another appt today. so i called them to let them know i never had an appt today and it was just an internal mishap on your part and the same girl is being so rude talking about how i need to let them know ahead of time and bitching at me when i DIDNT EVEN MAKE AN APPT LMAOOO and attacking me again like girl what. i wouldnt come here bc this is essentially just a place for ig influencers to come get simple ass tattoos for a lot of money. my design was simple and small as hell and was quoted $500 i have 2 friends that have gotten tats there and 6 months later theirs is now fading pretty badly. i literally have pics. from the miscommunications, the attitude, the price, and quality of the tats, it's not worth it. julies designs are cute but it's just not the best environment at all, they just want to gaslight u out of ur money lmao. i know u think u can't possibly go anywhere else but i promise u there are other tat artists in miami that are also creative and the type of style u want, that will not make u leave the store crying. i showed of listened to others that told me not to go here. read more

Gorgeous shop. Super clean. I dm'd them on instagram to make an appointment after choosing an artist. I met the artist the day before to collaborate on a design. I got a fairly large ribcage tattoo. Julie was fliiiiippin excellent. She worked with me all night on the perfect design, was super nice, and super talented. She holds a BFA from Tufts. Her eye is impeccable. The actual tattooing lasted 2 hours about, and it's been 4 days since. No bruising, no blood, no cuts, no rash. Minimally invasive. Not only was she skilled at being super gentle on a bone-y area, the ink and needles are topnotch. Recommended her to all my friends. Extremely glad I went to Skye Ink! read more

This was an amazing experience through and through. From the time you walk in to the time you head out, the people here make your visit nothing but positive. Pam was my artist and she was so caring and gentle the entire time. The vibes are amazing and chill and there was tons of feminine energy. unsatisfied and felt lied to…read more I booked this appointment 3 months in advance with a clearance on size, reference, and placement with Rafael and his assistant. Upon arrival Rafael drew something up to his liking of my reference but it was completely different than what I was expecting. In minor shock I was silent. I have two full stomach tattoos, 3 portraits, a half leg sleeve, and a back neck tattoo all done by differing artist and none have ever changed what i wanted so drastically. Rafael felt my vibe being off and then offered me to work with him on what we could do. Not dead set on the tattoo I originally showed him 3 months in advance I asked if he did portraits as I would like one more. He pointed to one that I already had and blatantly asked "why don't you just go back to that artist?". Once again I was taken aback by the comment. After discussing not doing another tattoo we set back on track for the original reference and idea I provided. He drew something much closer to what I wanted but I asked for more detail. He assured me there would be more detail in the actual tattoo than in the drawing. He also assured me that the sizing wasn't an issue and would connect to my other tattoos. After he was 'finished' neither promises were kept. The tattoo looks unfinished in detailing especially in comparison to what I asked for and in the look of my tattoo style. The tattoo also does not fade into my other tattoo shading. This is so disappointing as he had an apprentice with him who was listening to Rafael call himself extremely talented and gifted and naturally amazing at tattooing. This also left me so unsatisfied I decided to pay and leave as he did not want to (or could not) do what I asked for. I will now have to spend more money with a different artist to finish what he started.

The humans at this studio are not only talented, but also warm, sweet and beautiful all around. I was greeted by the lovely Caro who instantly made me feel at home - my fellow cancer :') Julie blew me away with the most perfect design for a cover up on my wrist. Even before my appointment, all communication was clear and positive and super helpful in landing on the perfect idea for my tattoo. When I read voted best Tattoo studio in Miami 2021 on their site, I had to get a tattoo here. I was not disappointed, I was a walk-in and they still accommodated me.
