Such a great menu! I'm not super familiar with Sunset Roasters' schedule, but during the week I believe they park outside the Botanical Garden in GGP - I've tried the pinollilo con cafe and caffe de olla so far. I love the unique flavors and spices in their lattes and definitely want to explore the menu more. Their food menu might rotate as well as the first time I stopped by they were serving yummy concha from Forecita. Friendly staff and fun flavors - Definitely worth a cup if you see them parked in GGP!

Decent prices for SanFran, located on a street leading up to Pacific Catch and the gyro restaurant. Staff are nice and there are lots of beans and other coffees to note. Got two matcha lattes -- one with churro marshmallow and oat milk and one without. Tasted pretty good for a walk about Golden Gate -- getting woken up and the caffeine while walking on. Drink is pretty small but the churro marshmallow was an okay touch!

The countdown to Glow for Let's Glow SF holiday projection arts festival was held at the foot of Market St in front of the Ferry Building. As part of the countdown activities, the Downtown SF Partnership sponsored Sunset Roasters to offer complementary hot chocolate, drip coffee and peppermint mocha. We got a hot chocolate and a peppermint mocha. We both felt the drinks lacked a depth of chocolate flavor and had a bland taste. Given the long line of customers, maybe they were rushing to get the drinks out and missed on the quality of their product. Thank you for being at the Let's Glow SF and providing free drinks. Hope to be able to try your coffees in the future.

Coffee truck at the Sunday Outer Sunset farmers market. Felt a need for caffeine before checking out the food trucks. So this Sunset Roasters truck beckoned! Looked clean, well-arranged. Friendly faces. Perused the coffee menu. Ordering/quick was well-organized, quick and friendly. Tried the Latte de Olla, espresso, milk, piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar), cinnamon, spices. This was hot espresso, nicely spiced and not overly sweet. Perfect way to start my shopping! Besides espressos They also sell drip coffee, teas and a few non-caffeinated choices. Will be back to try out the rest of of the espresso menu!

Ice is an additional $0.75 as an add on..

They charge you an additional $0.75 to make your drink iced... So I'm paying almost a dollar more to have you fill up the cup with ice and give me less of the beverage I'm paying for? Sounds like a bit of a scam to me..

    $2 water cup lol

My favorite neighborhood secret. Horchata latte for me, hot chocolates for the kids. Friendly staff, overall easy and clean process.

They offer a variety of baked in house items that range from the savory ( mushroom and cheese "tart") to the sweet of banana croissant invention. EVERYTHING is tasty. Items are limited in quantity, so go early. The mushroom green onion tart is delish! It has a generous amount of mushrooms, manchego cheese, and light green onions. It's a lovely flavor profile. The only downside is that it's not given to you heated. Eating it cold was not optimal. The banana "tart" because I don't recall the exact name, is to die for! It's sweet, it's sooo good! It's like banana crack. It has caramelized parts to it, and you won't want to share it!! The double backed pistachio/blackberry croissant is a food group all its own. It's everything you want in a pastry! The Thai tea was just OK. Super pricey for the amount. It's not that traditional taste profile. The people that work at Neighbor big house are friendly, expedient with service, and this definitely needs to be on your secret places to try when you're visiting SF. It's not that we want to gatekeep, but you are gonna want all these pastries to yourself!

Service / ambiance: This lovely little coffee nook is tucked into the lobby of an apartment complex. There's a ton of foot traffic from both the patrons and residents, but that helps give Progeny a truly neighborhood / community feel. Many of the residents also seem to be frequent patrons, and the staff at Progeny frequently greets folks by name. Even if you don't live here, the staff is still plenty friendly. They offered great recommendations on what to get (one of the first baristas who really delivered on my request for a sweet treat that wasn't too sweet). You can sit at the collection of tables in the apartment lobby, which includes a set of giant steps and huge windowsill bench. It's all a bit unconventional but very cozy. They also have access to the building's WiFi, so you can easily spend all day here. Food: Outstanding coffee and snacks, all of which is pretty affordable priced. I got an americano and black sesame mochi cake, which came out to less than $10...honestly unheard of in much of SF. The americano was outstanding. Progeny is focused on ethically sourced Colombian coffee, and you can really see their love for the country and product in every cup. The coffee is fragrant, slightly fruity, but not overly bright. It went wonderfully with the nutty, not-to-sweet black sesame mochi cake.

The pastry case is the kind of place you stop in front of and genuinely struggle to decide. There's always a rotating mix of creative, option think inventive danishes, laminated delights with unexpected fillings, and the occasional whimsical Asian twist on a classic. The coffee is pretty good--not a destination roast shop, but solid enough that pairing it with a warm biscuit or pastry feels exactly right. The space is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual morning in the neighborhood or a quick stop before heading to the waterfront. Service is friendly and low‑pressure, which makes it easy to linger with a pastry and a cup. Prices are on the higher side, especially if you're loading up on pastries or grabbing a sandwich and coffee. That said, the quality and creativity of the food generally justify the cost, even if you're silently side‑eyeing your wallet as you hand over your card.
